Worst customer service no one is ever in the office they need advance notice and then can't make it complete shit show

This was a dreadful experience. Told I had to pay upfront (price I thought was high). Tow available in 10-15 minutes. After I paid, I received a document/text I had to approve agreeing to a 3% credit card fee and if I cancelled 50-100% charge. The phone rep said the 3% fee "might" be applied, even though the text said it "will" be applied. This felt disingenuous at best and like a scam. I wanted to cancel the service. If I cancelled the service I would be charged $45 or $49. So locked into paying before they would send someone. Additional fees tacked on after payment and a cancellation fee if I wanted to back out if the appointment. And it too more than 90 minutes for anyone to show up. We received the worst service at your location in Indio, our truck was picked up on Friday and we wanted to pick it up on Saturday but the cost was very high because they had to go open and they charged us more for that and they told us that if we waited until Monday it would be 180 for two days so we went early Monday and by the way they never have their office open, you have to call and wait for someone to come... and to pick up my truck they charged me for 4 days and not 2 as they had said. Elias was extremely rude and unprofessional. He came to tow my father's truck during an emergency and asked us to move some concrete planters to make room for the tow truck. My father had just had surgery and was unable to move them, so instead of handling the situation respectfully, Elias began tossing the planters around the yard. After that, he claimed he couldn't fit the truck in and told us to call a different towing service. He then abruptly left, saying we could retrieve the vehicle at the tow yard. He handed us a card with a phone number, which turned out to be his own--and when I called, no one was able to help. His behavior was so inappropriate that even nearby neighbors who came to assist were shocked. I would not recommend Elias or this company under any circumstances. THIEFS!!! A friend was involved in an accident Sunday,1/12 in a Hertz vehicle. The car was towed to Tow Medic; it was rear ended with severe damage to the back end of the car. There was a suitcase in the Trunk. We went to see about getting the belongings back but was told the damage was to severe to gain access and that 2 people attempted. The idea was to go through the back seats to retrieve it but was told there was too much damage to put the seats down. They would not let him attempt to gain access to the car to see about getting his belongings and that it was to dangerous to do so. We left believing that. The car was then to the Hertz location at the airport. We went there to see about getting the suitcase; upon arrival it took less that 2 minutes to pull the suitcase from the back seat. Once the suitcase was opened, it was discovered that a Laptop and a couple other items had been stolen!!! Beware!!! read more

A big THANK YOU to Anthony of Towmedic! My car broke down 255 miles from home at 7:15pm on a Sunday night. The first company AAA dispatched was unable to tow me across stateline because of legalities. AAA contacted Towmedic and they said they would be able to get me home. Again with the CA legalities, Anthony had already contacted an affiliate tow company (A2Z Towing) to meet us at the boarder and get me all the way home.
