I had to pay out of pocket 456.00 for parts and labor to repair my vehicle. Spoke to the Manager/Owner(Brian) he refused to reimburse me for the damages done. While the service was good (AAA tow request) I don't see how it or why it would cost $62.40 to travel 12 miles (which is about 20 minutes drive). I had my vehicle towed for repair and was in a rush so I didn't get to dispute it then. This feels like a rip off and I don't think that it's right. read more

Driver unhelpful, left me stranded in the dark, then when someone from their office called me, they HUNG UP ON ME then cancelled my tow, left me in the dark, hours after my AAA call....put me in an unsafe position. Customer service is not something that they understand, clearly. I was not rude and did not say anything disparaging or raise my voice when a driver was not helpful and had to call AAA for a second time in 2 hours. My most scary and frightening breakdown treatment I've ever experienced in 30 years with AAA. Thankfully, AAA member relations took it seriously and did a full report the next day, names and all. I walked out of work to find one of my front tires flat. I immediately called AAA. They said Palms to Pines would be arriving in 48 mins. I wasn't thrilled with my wait time, but was happy to have help on the way. Surprisingly, 15 mins later, I received a call from Christian, saying he was already in my work parking lot. I was so impressed with the response time! Once Christian put my spare tire on, I complained about having to go back to the dealership to buy a new tire. Christian told me the bolt in my tire was fixable, & recommended a local tire company who would plug it for free. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, my tire was fixed! I called AAA and they sent out Pines to Palms towing. The driver did not secure my car on the flatbed truck that he was driving properly. He stated he avoided hitting another car and my car came out of its straps. My car was damaged significantly. I tried to contact Pines to Palms towing but they would not answer the phone to me. I then used my neighbors phone and they answered. The person who answered was rude and stated the manager "Mercedes" would call me tomorrow. I waited and no one called. I then tried to call Pines to Palms towing again. They would not answer so I drove over. I used the number on the gate and called from a private phone that is built into my car. they answered but would not let me in to talk to them and proceeded to be very rude and ask me "what are you trying to pull" I stated " you wrecked my car on your truck, I had nothing to do with it. Your driver tried to get me to not call you.. but I now know that was you telling him what to do". I then ascertained what they had done with my car and was told they followed my instructions. This was not true. I then received an email stating they were not insured. This company needs to come to the table and fix what they have done. I heard the owner is respected and respectful. Consuela R is rude and unprofessional. None of this would've ever been a problem if the first P2P technician had told me I needed a new battery. Obviously I don't know anything about cars. That's why I call AAA to diagnose. The first P2P technician silently charged my battery and did nothing else. It was only until the SECOND technician came later that evening that HE told me I needed a new battery, but also that he couldn't sell me one after 5PM. The THIRD P2P technician flat out told me that the first one must've been so lazy to not replace it. And Consuela has the audacity to insult me and lie about me and make guesses about why I did what I did? No way. I told you how it happened, I just told you again, I'm gonna tell the owner on Wednesday when he's back from vacation, and I'm telling AAA as well. This is ridiculous. I didn't even ask for my $100 back. I just rightfully left a bad review for a towing company with someone on staff who'll look at a battery that needs replacing and not tell a customer that it needs replacing. Had a service through my AAA company on January 8 ,the driver showed up fairly quick thought he'd back up on reverse and simply get as close as he can to my car and go from there but he decided to push it back from where it was not realizing that next to a big wooden pole that was next to my car was surrounded by two smaller metal poles and as he push my car on neutral and turning the wheel so he'd try to set up for his truck to tie my car he ran into one of the smallest poles and making a big scratch on the front passenger door and very shortly after that I took a picture of the incident while he was surprised and mad about what he had done not realizing his dum mistake ,after my first pic I helped him push the car forward and then backwards again so it could clear those smaller metal poles while he had a bad attitude and started looking around the car and seeing that had other dents and scratches telling me that I was worried about what happened when my car had other dents or scratches and started to take some more pics of them ,he continued with his big bad attitude and I just left to where it was going to be dropped off ;when he finally dropped off the car I asked him what the protocol was if I need it to make a report or something and he rudely said talk to triple A I have nothing to do with it and rapidly took off. After a few days I was able to contact Mercedez the GM or person in charge and from the beginning she was very rude and aggressive stating that that particular damage was already there when on the picture I took seconds after it happened you can clearly see the angle of the scratch perfectly alone with the pole that had a brown color but because the scratch on the door is white she says that was there before .... It's amazing how rude and agresive this ppl get when they make mistakes and things don't go there way,I can just imagine the tupe of standard they have when this incidents happen.very sad ,frustrating and disappointed about all this matter.This lady had the nerve to offer me $10 dollars to fix the damage and I know she was joking but it's "that"what this company is a joke !!!!! I have a battery under warranty through AAA and this company was supposed to come out and replace it. They told me they didn't have the ability to change a car batter.... I will also be contacting AAA about this. I've never heard of a tow service that doesn't change batteries... Exceptional service from towing and service specialist, Jimmy. Jimmy went above and beyond during the service call and he was personable and professional during the entire encounter Our car had been sitting for several months and had a dead battery. The battery was not taking a charge and needed replacement. Jimmy showed up and performed diagnostic tests on our 2010 Mercedes Benz. He confirmed that the battery needed to be replaced. He had the proper replacement battery on his truck which was appreciated. Jimmy was methodically in his approach and was not in a rush. After replacing the battery, I asked if he could check the tire pressure to make sure the tires were properly inflated. Jimmy obliged the request and found that several of the tires needed air. Jimmy was not bothered by the additional request and he used the compressor built into his truck to perform the maintenance. All- in-all we received exceptional service from Palms to Pines Towing. Jason was my angel! Who comes out on the freeway at 4AM? I'm from out of state, and my tire blew out 30 mins after starting my trek back home. No idea where I am, never had a blow out before. But Jason came to the rescue. And thank you Jesus! Cause he took care of me. Super nice and polite very helpful. He took the old tire off, put on the spare tire that I had in the trunk. It's not a full size tire so he said I would need to go to a garage and get a full size. But today is Sunday. He recommended Firestone. So that's where I'm going to head to. They open at 8AM. So I have plenty of time to get there and wait. We said our good byes, started my car and now my car won't start. I know my battery is still good. Should be good for 5 years. Jason said maybe it's just because of my hazard lights being on for so long. I'll have the mechanics look EVERYTHING over. I have a long trek ahead of me. Weve been going back and forth with these guys aboit the car. they refused to let us get anything from the car till my gf signed. Very rude comments to my gf while she was walking away. And also releasing private imformation that i believe they have no right realsing especially since the case is still being investigated. We wanted a copy of paper work before signing and they refused. At this point i feel some of our rights have been attacked. They also tried to make us pay a impound fee and we had to go to the police station and have them make a call to remove the fee. Please do not trust this place you guys. Think im lying talk to the manager and see for yourself. We now feel uncomftorable and unsafe moving forward with these guys cause they refuse to hand my gf a copy of the paper work and they want her to go in there alone to use intimidation tactics and force her to sign. Stole two parts from my nice vehicle when all he did was steel my car interior parts before he towed it to my shop . He needs to be fired . Do not trust them . He is a thief and needs to be let go . Very upsetting for him to do this to my car . You guys will fix this through AAA . Horrible and I called and the guy on the phone was a joke and acted he didn't know anything . Worst service I've ever had. He even left proof I got pics of in my glove box of what he used . Today, my battery died. I honestly did not know what was wrong. AAA sent me a tech from Palm to Pines to look at my car and get my car running again. They sent a lovely young man, Christian to take care of all and get me back on the road. Evidently, the battery had died. Christian changed it out for me. What an incredible Ambassador for "Palms to Pines"! This young man called me later in the day to ask if I'd had any further problems? I was incredibly impressed. I've never had a tow truck driver follow up to make sure his service "had done the trick"! Additionally, he hoped I'd gotten all my other errands done? Just replaced another battery after 45 months Thankfully, the car would not start in our garage. Marken arrived much earlier than expected. He was efficient and informative. Palm to pines was dispatched with AAA towing. The man arrived to change a flat tire on our 32' RV. He was not overly enthused about the job. He made about ever excuse he could to keep from changing the tire. To his credit he identified that there were two flat tires on the passenger side of the vehicle. I had one spare, he offered no solutions. And he flat out refused to change the tire(s) or even offer to sell me a new tires. He offered no other options other than towing. Which he said he could not do because of the 2 bad rear tires and the 2 questionable tires on the drivers rear side of the coach. So there I was paying for AAA and not one option available to me. This guy was pleasant in manners but totally unwilling to assist. I called AAA because the tire was flat, and when he left the tire was still flat and he refused to tow it because of the flat tire. Sounds beyond belief. Now I have AAA plus RV with over 100 miles of towing. Now it seems to me that they might of offered a flat bed??????? Any way thumbs down to Palm to Pines. My mechanic, Raul Segundo 68711 Summit Dr, Cathedral City, CA 92234, came out with a compressors and changed the tire, took off the second tire went to Garcia's tires 188 W San Rafael Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92262. Bought a used tire with his own money and got the RV ready to travel by tow truck. So Pine to Palms not only, will I not recommend you for service, but I am a business owner her in Palm Springs and I have a voice. read more

Dealt with a VERY rude woman and man(sitting behind a desk) when my husband and I went down to deal with paperwork for our vehicle that was totalled in an ACCIDENT. The woman who "helped" us was very sarcastic, and spoke to us as if we were stupid and didn't understand what needed to be done, then the man behind the desk proceeded to chime in on the conversation and make a very smart and rude remark then laugh as my husband is trying to explain the situation at hand....It's sad and unfortunate that grown adults are quick to judge people when they don't know the full story behind certain situations. Denies everything. Claim I poured battery acid on my cars after they left (but why would I do that and where did I get battery acid from they took the old battery with them) . Justed use this towing service for a AAA roadside call for battery repair. AAA gave me a response time of 1 hour and these guys got there in 10 minutes! It was the first hot weather day of April @ 101 degrees. Andy found me right away in a hospital parking lot. He was fast, friendly, and professional from the start. Since I previously bought a battery from AAA and they have a 3-year warranty I was five months out from being out of warranty. No problem Andy got a new battery out of his truck and had it installed in 5 minutes. This kind of customer service is so rare in our world anymore I found it necessary to post a Yelp review. Gary and Jason were both excellent to work with. I called and spoke with Gary to set up a job. I needed a Lincoln Navigator removed from a trailer and moved to my driveway behind a fence. He was very helpful, booking a time based on an ETA from the other driver. When the other driver showed up, I called back and they had a rollback on site within 20 minutes. Jason was fantastic getting the Navigator transferred, even with a damaged suspension and flat tire.
