I just wanted to write a big thank you to Plaza Towing. Our motorhome got stuck in-between Indio and Blythe on Jan. 1 2012 at night. AAA sent one tower out there and they couldn't lift our 34 foot motorhome. We then got in touch with Plaza and a tower named Paul came to pick us up to drive us the hour back to Cathedral City to a repair shop. He was incredibly helpful and made our family feel comfortable during the whole process while towing our RV on a flat bed. We now have to tow the RV to the Riverside area and Buddy picked it up last night on the flat bed. He too was really helpful and is even going to the CHP to request to pull an RV that is 1 foot over the limit for us so we could go home to Ventura County last night. So a big thank you to them. I called the Auto Club for towing and they called Plaza Towing - it was later in the afternoon and so I really appreciated it that they were able to come out to take our car over to Jessup Auto Plaza in Cathedral City (from Palm Desert) and get there before 6. Daniel was the driver and he was very nice and demonstrated experience, know-how and courtesy. Thank you, Plaza Towing, for having great people - I should say, including the nice young lady who called us on the phone to let us know the driver was on his way - she was very polite and demonstrated great customer service aptitude, because I was all nervolated and worried about getting the car on the way. This is the worst Tow company I've ever seen! HOA towed my car for no reason. Plaza grabbed it and kept it as though I was a criminal. Over 3,000. to get it out of Plaza Jail yard. So they sold it and there goes my car! Plaza towing and Hidden Palms HOA Suck Dogs ASS! There should be some kind of laws to prevent this bad bad behavior and Plaza Towing do NOT run a legitimate business. read more

Police had my car towed to them after a bad accident in Palm Desert. They took the car all the way to Indio location and then were charging over $300 for the tow and $80 a day storage, while I had to wait for the insurance company to contact them. Then they wouldn't do a Zoom with the insurance adjustor to appraise the damage. The got to over $1000 in less than a week! I ended up paying them $400 and they are keeping my car. Our truck which seas pulling our 19 foot trailer broke down right in front of the entrance to ampm. Plaza towing helped us get everything truck and trailer back home safely. Wow! I'm impressed! These guys know their stuff! Last night my car just died...and I mean died. Left me in a precarious position with the front end sticking out..Not onlu did they arrive quickly, but he had my car out of the street and onto that flat bed faster than I could blink my eye! Kyle went above and beyond what *other* tow truck drivers would do! He even gave us a lift home after we dropped car off at shop. Thanks for having such a great guy and the awesome service. I had totaled my car driving westbound on the i10, no other people where hurt, it was just me and a tree. The I had been driving, legally I should not have been, however that was the only option when my fiance had gotten arrested prior in our legal vehicle. So the car that plaza has is still in my sisters name still, a nd hasn't been registered since 2009, my sister has passed away and that was all i had left of her so thate why i didn't want to change the registration, but I wasn't expecting to have to drive it. So I'm still in the hospital, the had to cut my clothes off me last night as well. So this towyard who literally has EVERYTHING I OWN in the car including my ID in my purse can't, or more like won't let me get my stuff out of the vehicle, including even a change of clothes or even my ID, so the hospital is getting me a hotel voucher I can't even check into. Total lack of compassion, so now being discharged, I'll be in a hospital gown on the side of the road with broken ribs because one employee couldn't go the extra step and call the manager on their off just to get instructions.... read more

Called for AAA Roadside assistance this morning. Had an exception from AAA to change out a tire on vehicle we use for both personal and business. Donna with Plaza Towing made the executive decision after already having approval from AAA not to allow the Driver of Plaza Towing to change the tire under our membership on the vehicle. The driver turned around said he could change the tire for $55 and then change it to $75. read more

I have used Plaza Towing three different times. Each time the experience is exactly the same. The drivers arrive pretty quickly, they are polite, knowledgable and always seem to know exactly what to do. Not only do they do a great job, but they are VERY affordable. Tonight my husband had a flat and turns out the spare was flat. Plaza came out highway 86 to help us out. I think his name was Will. He was great. These guys know everything about everything! I have called this place to resolve a problem because my vehicle was safe listed and put on the DO NOT tow list, and it was towed anyway. Thinking this might just be a mistake I called and asked questions. First off I called and they said my HOA called it in and ended up hanging up on me I thought by accident. So I called back and they were unwilling to work with me and or even listen to what I said. They were being super rude thinking that maybe I came off a little upset, I tried to calm there attitude down and de-escalate the situation to where we could talk like adults and resolve the problem. The woman was not calming down or talking in a polite way at all, so I asked to talk to her supervisor and so she transferred me and I was met with hostility in her voice and so again I tried to calm the situation down by saying "I'm trying to resolve a problem not argue" and after that she started yelling at me "we have your vehicle 245$ by today at 5:00" I feel as a group of thugs are holding my vehicle for ransom. I'm a church going baptized Christian and honestly feel at a loss. read more

My HD Tri-Glide died last night while at the movies, and I used the insurance company to have roadside assistance come to help. The man they sent was extremely helpful, but didn't know anything about motorcycles, so I decided to wait. Called HOG this morning and they sent Kirk with Plaza Towing. Kirk arrived within 10 minutes of the call and knew all about motorcycle towing and especially a tri-glide. He took special care on my extended pipes and had just purchased the perfect straps to hook the winch to. He was very warm and friendly and I will only use Plaza Towing from now on here in Indio where I have a home (hopefully not too often). :-) read more
