I don't know how this guy stays in business! I purposely went to this store to support a local business and I truly have never ever been treated so poorly in my life. I was trying to pick out a frame and mat for a print that I am giving as an engagement gift. I explained I wanted to take my time making the right selection, as this is extra special. He pulled a mat out and a frame and said "this is it!" I personally did not love that option, and I asked if I could look around myself and decide. He then told me to take a picture and come back. He doesn't have time to waste with me. I was so confused, I hadn't been in the shop for more than 5 minutes. This guy clearly does not know the meaning of costumer service, and acts like a child if you disagree with his rushed, cheesy ass decisions. I will never shop here nor would I recommend this to anyone! He says he has been in business for 40 years.... I don't know how that is possible nor do I foresee this place being opened for another week based on my horrible experience! read more

Zero stars if I could. The owner is beyond rude, I was completely appalled. I called to make a polite inquiry about whether he can stretch a painting for me and what I got was a very curt "no sorry don't do that" and then he HUNG UP ON ME. Unbelievable. I called back to give him a piece of my mind and his reply was an extremely patronizing "I'm sorry to have insulted you but I was eating my lunch and you have no idea how busy I am" WHAT??? After winning some art at a fine art auction, my first thought, aside from "Wow I can't believe I now own art by legendary artists," was, "I need to get this stuff framed immediately." I took my 3 treasured pieces to Town & Country Framer, and spent the next 30 minutes in an exciting flurry of frames, art, and great conversation. The owner, Kevin, is incredible. Truly as good as it gets. He has an eye for art, design, and frames. Kevin helped us choose the PERFECT frames for our new prized possessions. Avoid this frame shop. The mitre joints in my very small picture were loose, with gaps in all 4 joints. It was an easy job and was done poorly. When I received the framed picture, the corners all had cardboard protectors on. At 1st I thought this was considerate and for extra care, but later realized it hid the joint problem. I called the owner who became irate when I asked him if he could fix it. He denied the problem existed, when it is plainly visible. I will not return. read more

Me and my friends first walked into this place looking for a good frame for a painting print I bought as a wedding present. The guy who runs the place took one look and instantly picked out the perfect frame. Since then me and my friends have gone back there quite a few times to get stuff framed - I feel like I've started looking for stuff to get framed just because I know he's going to do such a great job. I have been a loyal Town and Country Framer customer for 27 years. I have had over 100 pieces framed there and the work is always impeccable. Kevin, the owner, has excellent taste and he always does a great job; he has been especially helpful in getting rush projects done for me on time. He takes time and care with each customer and the bonus is that his shop is filled with objects d'art, curiosities, and other cool things to look at and purchase. He has also been very supportive of the non-profit that I run, and has provided discounts for things that we need framed for our annual silent auction. And, his prices are very reasonable!
