I have very complicated eyes and see an ophthalmologist at UW for most of my eye care, but what opthalmologists don't generally do well are refractions. My vision has been much worse in the last year or so, so I finally bit the bullet and scheduled a refraction at Town Center Eye. Dr. Hamilton was fantastic! We chatted for a bit, and he took time to understand my eyes. He's the only optometrist I've had who explained why my vision might be getting worse and how exactly he planned to correct it. He spent a good amount of time really dialling in my prescription and assessing my visual processing. He was personable and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend him! The front of the office was also very helpful and knowledgeable. They jumped right to helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. They have a nice selection of frames. read more

This review is completely about the sales, has nothing to do with the optometrist there. I went there asking about the price of a pair of eyeglasses. Amanda told me that my insurance covered the entire price, except for the cost of tier 3 anti-glaring/scratch at $120. (strike ONE) Now, I was thinking, what's the point of paying high premiums for great insurance if I still have to fork over $120 plus tax? Plus, I knew the add-on of tier 3 is optional. So, I threw out, "Why do I have to pay for the $120, tier 3? Can't I just get my glasses without that extra cost?" She said, I "had to pay for it." (strike TWO) So, to get this straight because I didn't want to misinterpret; I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt before going on Yelp, I said, "Is this cost unavoidable? Is it compulsory." She said, yes. (strike THREE) At that point, I said, wow, Amanda really is trying to scam me for a commission. So, I made eye contact with her and 'asked' in a way she would know I knew, "Why can't I go tier 1 and pay $32?" (you're outta here!!!!) Her response: "Uhh, you can." WORD OF WARNING. If you bought glasses there recently and ended up buying the tier 3 anti-glaring/scratch because you 'had to'..... Well, at least it comes with a 2-year warranty, and you made the sales lady happy. read more

Why 3 stars? Because when I walked in, the man working there was helping another women and although he said "Hi" he seemed very dismissive of me and did not offer any help at all. Even when the woman was clearly in the zone with her baby and no longer needed assistance, he didn't ask if I needed anything. I haven't been coming here for 3 years now, and it is the most fantastic eye care place I've ever experienced. They have top of the line equipment; and the friendliest staff. They remember me by name, and details of my life, and they are so friendly with my two little girls that I bring with me. I was almost hesitant to give a four star review, but I couldn't in good faith deduct stars for one issue when the rest of my experience was so great. I needed a new eye doctor since I moved to Lynnwood and this place was close and happened to take both of my vision insurance plans. Making an appointment for an initial visit was easy enough, but the earliest appointment was two weeks after my call. I was in bad shape and so I took what I could get. The appointment was good, the doctor is friendly and will answer any of your questions, and the location is easy to find (between Azul and the Spotted Cow). The only issue I had with them was the billing side of things. Granted, I have multiple vision plans so I'm sure that didn't help ease things, but it was frustrating when they didn't believe me about my insurances and the doctor's husband made it seem like either I was lying or an idiot for thinking I had two vision plans. It really ended up being fine since they figured out what they had to do. I just wish he had more patience and had listened to what I was saying before arguing with me. Maybe it was just a bad day though, everyone has those. Other than that it was smooth sailing, I was in two more times. Once for a followup on the new contacts and once more to pick them up. Both times the receptionist Rachel made a real impression on me with how friendly she was. She is seriously just the nicest girl, and a real pleasure to talk with when waiting for your appointment. I also really liked the doctor. She was knowledgeable and fun to chat with, even about eye stuff. If you're looking for a new eye doctor in the Lynnwood/MillCreek area I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lisa DiPietto. read more

Dr. Lisa DePiettlo at Town Center Eye Care has been my family's eye health physician for over 13 years now. The care we receive there is phenomenal. Dr. Lisa is so thorough and caring with each of our eye needs. My family suffers from allergies and it presents itself in our eyes. She does a careful examination even taking pictures of the inside of our eye lids and retina! Her recommendations and follow up are superb and help us keep our vision as good as it can be. We love the eye glass and contact aspect of the office as well. Roland and staff do a tremendous job helping to pick out the perfect glasses for our face that are stylish and keep up with the current trends. If there ever is an adjustment needed on the fitting, just pop in and they are quick to help. We highly recommend Town Center Eye Care for individuals and families. Kara and Danielle who work at the front desk reception and insurance department rock! My husband and I had our annual eye exams the last week and found the office staff to be incredibly helpful, positive and fun. My husband needed new glasses and both ladies were so personable and willing to find the perfect frames. They were patient and offered great advice and a knowledgeable opinion about which frames looked the best. The selection of frames is good and well selected. There are many brand names and prices aren't sky-high like some optical stores. Actually, the whole team is great and found it incredibly easy to secure an appointment last minute and working with the eye doctor was also outstanding. The eye exam was comprehensive and fairly priced. I even found a pair of really cool Tom Ford sunglasses that called my name and I purchased, by phone, after the visit. The next day upon my arrival to pick the sunglasses up, Kara and Danielle took time to wrap the box with a pretty red bow since it was an early Christmas gift. They even remembered my name the next day and greeted me with such kindness, professionalism. Check this place out and then go have lunch at one of the great restaurants nearby. read more

I'm very conflicted about this review. If it weren't for the sales man, Roland, I would be ecstatic and would give 5 stars hands down. I'm also apparently not the only one who thinks this, judging by other reviews. First of all, he was on the phone with a friend, talking very loudly & arrogantly for the 15 minutes I was waiting to be helped by him before my appointment. Then when he did help, he wasn't listening AT ALL to what I was looking for in a pair of frames but was just randomly pulling stuff out and seemed very annoyed that I didn't immediately puck a pair. The second another customer came in (this happened twice..) he completely ignored me and was very nice to them. Not cool. This being said, the receptionist is lovely and was super helpful! Dr. Lisa was the best eye doc I've ever been to & helped figure out issues that no previous eye doc bothered to discuss with me. She even knew about Sjogren's disease, which I had just been diagnosed with, and how that can affect my eyes. Going back to the sales man... I asked him if they did any payment plans and he literally laughed at me. How rude can you be??? Sorry, but as a student who can barely afford rent, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Guess I was wrong! They don't carry Ray Ban, which is weird. I opted to have new lenses for my current frames and he acted like I was crazy. I loved Dr. Lisa so much, but I really can't fathom coming back if that sales man is still there. Super disappointing. read more

Pushy sales people. Although I finally have a pair of frames, I am unhappy with the ones they recommended/forced on me. Besides that, the doctor was completely rude to me when I went to go back for the second time (to get a fitting they forgot to take in the first place). Dr Lisa deserves 6 stars, she provides very comprehensive exams, is highly personable and is persistent in finding the right approach and in the end the right lenses for you. Out of all the eye doctors I have been to in Boston or Arizona, this is definitely the place I have received the best personalized, 1-1 care without the feel of being passed around or rushed during my time with Dr Lisa. I found the team working with Dr Lisa and her husband Roland extremely helpful, professional and fun. It is the kind of establishment where you want to drop by while in the Mill Creek Town Center just to say hi and get your frames readjusted, that friendly type of place. With that level of service they do encounter much well deserved success and as a new patient you may have to wait for weeks to meet with Dr Lisa, just like I did. And I am glad I did. read more

In the interest of seeing what else is out there I visited other stores in Mill Creek and Woodinville looking for distinctive frames and found nothing that came close to the selection at Town Center Eye Care. Doc Davis and the Mill Creek Family Eye Center Rock ! I first went 3 months ago for my failing vision , and this clinic is the coolest . Doc Davis and his crew , gave me the once over in depth . Courteous , efficient , and professional . After an almost an hour of testing , they determined I had Cataracts in both eyes . He sent me out door and said , " do not worry about a thing we will contact the surgeon and be in touch " . Surgeon called , set me up , and bing bang boom , first eye done . I have absolutely TERRIBLE eyesight, and about once a year tend to get a terrible eye infection because...I know, I know...I sleep with my contacts and and wear my dailies for at least a week. I chose Town Center Eye Care when I moved to Mill Creek because of their hours and location, and was SO thrilled with the care I received while I was a patient there. Dr. Lisa is incredibly thorough, funny, and honest. She isn't afraid to tell you that you've been treating your eyes like shit and that you should probably wear your glasses more. However, she was shocked that no previous optometrist had identified silicone as an allergy that was CAUSING all of these eye infections! She immediately switched me over to a new contact lense and not only did I immediately feel better -- I could actually start wearing mascara again! I'm so bummed I live in downtown Seattle again because she has been BY FAR my favorite optometrist I've been to. There's a lot you can choose from in this area, but this clinic genuinely cares (and is even super helpful when you need to pick out frames by yourself). If I ever end up back up north, I'll be sure to come back here! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Lisa DePietto for a long time now. I will never go anywhere else. Roland and Dr. Lisa are so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! I have literally referred everyone I know here. I know that Roland will never let me leave with pair of glasses that don't perfectly fit my face (and personality) and Dr. Lisa has an amazing Chairside manner. She remembers things about you, your family, work etc, even when you only see her once a year. I really wanted to try contacts, but have always had a hard time since I have a weird rx. Dr. Lisa spent so much time and had all the patience in the world trying to get me fitted for contacts. Yes- Great Dr. for eye exam BUT can't say same for management of business. Apparently the day of my exam they overbooked and were running late. My exam overlapped with another individual causing me to be late for work. I was there over 1 hr and still not finished with last part of exam when I was told to leave exam room and wait. All the office Manager Roland would do was tell me it was my fault when I went back into "my exam time" of the room while another person was getting there exam as I needed my contacts. Thank you for making me late for work that day and not sending my records to my new doctor after asking twice. My last exam with my new doctor- total time 40 minutes for a complete exam. read more

Not only was the exam so thorough, but Dr Lisa talked me through each and every step, letting me know what she was finding. After the exam she spent time explaining the different options of contacts that would help my eyes. Roland offered suggestions on Frames and the lenses, working with me until we found the right pair for my needs and my lifestyle. I was in Washington for some medical issues I was having for a limited time. After speaking with my mom about some problems I was having she suggested getting my eyes checked. I called around to a couple places, and Dr Lisa was the only one able to see me that day, and within 15 minutes. Super last minute, and not typical, but so appreciated. I went in for an exam, and let Dr Lisa know about my problems, and she made sure to do a full exam on my eyes to make sure my other diagnosis wasn't effecting my eyes. Dr Lisa let me know I did need glasses, and Katie was so helpful in picking out the perfect pair of frames. I let Katie know that I would be leaving town and heading back home in less then a week. I asked if at all possible if we could rush getting the glasses back, before I left so I didn't have to fuss with shipping them. Also not being able to see. She assured me they would do their best to get them to me. I got a phone call after 5 days from Katie letting me know my glasses were done. I was so impressed and thankful. I highly recommend Dr Lisa to anyone I know. My mom, sisters and dad will be going there in the future. Dr Lisa has a great sense of humor, makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during the exam. As someone who has had to wear glasses since 3rd grade, I have been to MANY different eye doctors. Dr. Lisa is BY FAR the best eye doctor I have ever been to. She takes the time to explain to you why is doing a certain test or what she is looking for and then explains in detail what she found. I feel like she truly cares about health and providing excellent care to her patients. She really listened to what I had to say and took into consideration other aspects of my health that may not be related to my eyes. My exam lasted ~45 minutes because she took the time to talk with me and do a thorough examination. I highly recommend her to anyone!! read more

What a weird thing: my husband and I had an absolute blast with our eye appointments! From front desk to Dr. DePietto, to picking out glasses and even billing. Totally positive, all the way. the only thing good about this office is the receptionist. From the start of the exam with the Dr. there whole mission was about up-selling to get us to spend more $. Then after the exam, the MGR Roland proceeded to give us unwanted financial advise once we told him that the combination he selected was a bit out of our price range. Once the glasses came in, my prescription was no where near strong enough and my wife's glasses came chipped. When i went back to get my lens corrected they both made it seem like it was MY mistake and that i somehow chose the wrong prescription for my eyes. Upon the replacing of my wife's lens by Roland, it was put in faulty and again we still need to return to get it fixed AGAIN! terrible experience, the business model for this office must be to blame the customer for their short comings to avoid admitting a mistake. unless you are looking to prolong your visit over a month and be insulted then AVOID THIS OFFICE LIKE A PLAGUE! read more
