Fantastic customer service. I had just come home from a long day of traveling from Tennessee. It had been one of those days where nothing went right from 3am. I finally got to my car only to find I had a low tire. I drove straight to Town Fair Tire in North Providence. I could not have asked for a more welcoming group of people. I was told that they would get it fixed even if it meant staying after the store was closed to get it done. They took my car straight in and got it done in a short amount of time. I went to town fair tire in North Providence Mineral Spring Ave. This morning I had a flat tire I had taken the tire off the car and brought it in , the customer service person. I believe his name was John or Rob was fantastic. I picked up a screw in my tire on mu pickup truck and overnight it went flat. Took the tire off and brought it to Town Fair Tire. I was greeted by Rob and the friendly staff. I left the tire with them and returned right before closing. They repaired the tire at no charge and told me to come in the following morning around 8am. They would mount the tire back on my truck. Came back and they took me right in and mounted the tire and reset the Tire Monitoring System. I highly recommend these guys and will certainly use them for any tire service. read more

I came to North Providence Town Fair Tire last week. I purchased two front tires. I told them I needed an alignment, this is very important because my tires worn uneven. ( This was due to the LUG NUTS not being tightened from coming here to the North Providence location prior t9 this visit) The lug nuts were hand tight, and my alignment was shot When my vehicle was done I realized that they did not do this service. I brought this to there attention. The front desk told me that alignment tech leaves early. If that was to be true they should of told me this, now I had to waste more time to go back there. After the alignment was done, my car was pulling to the left or right all by itself! I now went back there Again. They aligned it and STILL had the same problem. This is not safe to drive around like this. Also check online for a better price, usually you can get a better deal. I don't trust these people here ,for thier work and their word. read more

This unsolicited review is specific to the North Providence Town Fair Tire. I pulled into the lot at about 5:35 on Thursday. I wanted to match the tire but I was told that, unfortunately, I couldn't get that service for my rear passenger flat done that day because the tire would have to be ordered. But I was given the option of leaving the car overnight and returning the following day. Which I did. I called to check the progress and was told that the wait might be from an hour to 90 minutes. Only half an hour later, I was called and told that the car was ready--a classic case of under-promising and over-performing. Mike was especially courteous and helpful--friendly, even. If I ran a tire shop, I would hire him in a heartbeat. Rob was also very helpful in taking extra steps to make sure I was satisfied. read more

I took my car in last Saturday for an alignment, balancing and rotation. I was charged $119.00 and knew I was in trouble the minute I drove off. As I pulled onto the main road, I realized that my car steering wheel was shaking viciously and the car itself was pulling hard to the right. I immediately drove back and expressed my concerns to the manager who gave me an attitude and told me that it was probably because it was cold outside. After back and forth he took the car back into a bay and "did the balancing and alignment again". Again I drove off with a shaking steering wheel and my car pulling hard to the right. I called their customer service call center who gave me a number to corporate. They didn't pick up because it was the weekend so I was forced to get an appointment with a great mechanic who not only informed me but SHOWED me that the tire rotation, balancing and alignment should have never even been performed in the first place because what I needed was FOUR new tires. My tires had giant bubbles in them and Town Fair Tire should have seen this and let me know but they didn't. Instead they were lazy and took my money, water my time and gave me an attitude on top of it. Thank god for the honest mechanic who got me squared away because if those tires had popped at any point I might not be here to write this review. Thanks for taking my $119 Town Fair Tire on Douglas Ave in North Providence, thanks for the attitude your manager gave me and the shotty service and not being willing to give me a refund when I asked for it. read more

However, I don't understand longer wait times when an appointment has been made or not ensuring that the grounds are clean and able to be used for physical distancing while waiting. They may not be the outwardly friendly type but they're efficient, down to business and get the job done FAST. They don't hassle you, it's straight forward based on your needs. No upselling. Just plan on spending 45 minutes to an hour there while waiting. It's located in a small plaza that has food and a shoe store.
