DO NOT use this company. My elder parents needed ride to airport, and owner Kevin H. wouldn't go as far as to help my 80+ handicapped parents with any service. Simply flagging down a Skycap was OUT of the question for him... my parents are not from here and dont even know what a Skycap is. This is not service. There is also hidden charges like $30 charges for being 15 minutes pickup late not communicated up front (when I booked the reservation) It took me 10 seconds to flag down a Skycap. No skin off their back. Just knowing they wear a cap and eager to help you at the curbside (reading Kevin comments he couldn't even spell skycap, not skycaB). Kevin H. (owner) being asian says and respects elders, but wont lift a single finger to help out. Only quoting that his liabilities and only needs to get them to the curbside. Heck, what are they going to do next, throw you out with luggage, regardless of the handicap status? BTW: Liability Kevin mentions is not applicable for Handicapped status as I've stated on the phone (and have the plaque to prove it). People in wheelchair doesn't mean they are involate... treating them as 2nd class citizen is also illegal. Police at SFO also honors Handicap plaque as I told Kevin. In short, this was too much trouble for him... so he literally pushed us out. When it could have and should have been resolved by flagging down a skycap to service the handicap needs (10 seconds... zero liability). I've used MANY limo companies out there that will bend over backwards to help you. This aint on of them! Later offline Kevin asked me to take down this review as he wouldn't offer me the service to improve the rating. I rather people be honest and use Yelp as simple advisory for quality of service. If the law of averages hold up, I will be the odd man out. Let you be the judge... just don't appreciate system being gamed. Next time you call them up, pay attention to how they answer the phone. These guys were exactly what you'd hope for in a car service. Arrived early, prompt arrival at the airport despite changed and delayed flights, and service with a smile. That earns four stars. However, we were traveling as a family and two things stood out to me which makes this a five star rating. First, it was pouring rain with high winds on the drive back from the airport and the driver was exceptionally cautious, driving below the speed limit at times to insure that safety was a priority over getting home (even though our flight was delayed). Second, both on the way there and back, the driver gave me a hand in installing the car seat! These extras make sure that I'll come back again. read more

Graceful! That is the word I feel I must use. Everything was so well handled that even in the midst of confusion and a hot mess, I never ONCE worried about Town Limousine. They were amazing. I called to book a birthday limousine - 5 hrs, 9pm to 2am, 10 passenger limo. This was a surprise for the birthday girl. The limo would meet us at 9pm at the restaurant, drive us into SF Marina district for some bar hopping, and then safely deposit us back home. They did this PERFECTLY and so much more. Some of the complaints you might hear about those OTHER limo services are that they overcharge or have hidden fees, that they don't know where they are going, aren't nice, or have gross cars. NONE of these are true with Town Limousine. They are very reasonably priced. Flat rate of $450 dollars for 5 hrs (EVERYTHING INCLUDED). Every time I called, Kevin always picked up the phone and addressed all of my concerns and questions with a politeness you don't find in the transportation industry these days. He made sure to explain everything about the service and would make sure I felt completely comfortable before I agreed to anything. Every time there was a change, he would send me a new confirmation document to my email and was never impatient with me. He agreed to give us two bottles of champagne and the limo would be stocked with soda, water, and ice. On to the night! I was really anxious because it was a surprise and I wanted to make sure the night was a success. So much depended on the driver and limo. At 9pm sharp, I am not joking people, the moment I saw it was 9pm I simultaneously saw a limo roll up in front of the restaurant. I walked outside and introduced myself to Luc. What a FANTASTIC driver. I truly do have to suspend my belief for how good he is. He's been doing this for 12 years and his experience was crucial. He greeted me warmly and showed me how to work their music system and gave me a tour of the bar. He opened the trunk and showed me the chilled champagne ready to go, explaining there was one chilling in the bar already and one extra. He also grabbed an aux cable for me so I could hook my phone to the music system. I brought the birthday girl out with eyes closed and the surprise was amazing. She loved it. Luc opened the door and helped all the ladies into the car. He then handed me the second champagne bottle and his card with his cell phone number. Our drive was seamless. The limo was clean and very nice. Lights/neon, glasses (not plastic cups), napkins, good speakers, and a working moonroof. They had even stocked the bar with some beer! We arrived at our first stop and he told me to text us if we wanted to go somewhere else and he would come immediately. After about an hour, I texted him that we were ready to go to the next bar and IMMEDIATELY I got a text from him saying that he was on his way. Moments later, we walked outside and Luc was pulling up to the door. He was double parked but made sure that the rear door was in between the parked cars so it was easy to open and easy for people to get in. Greatness is in the details!! The true test was when we had a drunk birthday girl. Instead of being impatient and angry with us, he was a SUPERSTAR. When we asked him if he had a bag (just in case), he flew to the trunk, grabbed the ice bag and dumped the remaining ice out and gave it to us. He even helped us walk our friend to the car and was nice the entire time! When we got back home, he thanked us and made sure we were okay before driving the rest of the party home. Based on stellar Yelp reviews, I called for a quote to go from SFO to Mill Valley and they told me $95. So far so good; that's just what a cab costs at this point. Then they told me that that was plus tax and tip. And not including meeting me inside the airport, or charges for late night arrival. What the heck?? Tipping the driver over and above the fare is a given no matter what form of transportation is used - but there is no tax on services in CA. It is part of my business to know when tax is to be charged and when not, and that is on product, not pure service like a limo service, so I know that anyone charging tax on services like this is ripping people off by definition. So somehow now, a ride quoted me as $95 was going to cost $134, plus tip. Plus coming inside. Plus late night charges. It was going to end up closer to $200. Forget that. So, I figured the person I was talking to must not be the owner, since it was late at night, so I called back the next morning. They quoted me the same figure, only now as part of the quote process, the guy asked if I was planning to pay cash or by credit card. I asked if it was less for cash, and they said yes, of course, it costs us more to use credit cards. Rip off time number 2. It's also illegal for a vendor to charge more for use of credit cards over cash. But I asked the price difference anyways, to see what the discount for using cash would be. Somehow that got me from $95 to $115. Dude, that is *not* a discount from $95. Then he threw out the number $124 for some reason. At that point I just hung up. THANK goodness she didn't otherwise I might have missed out on this GREAT service. Our Company's Owner was coming in from France and we had about 6 transfers (basically one way trips, then come back later) that we had to plan. I was quoted $75 (not including toll or tip) for a pick up from OAK airport to downtown SF on a late Sunday evening (after 11pm). The service was efficient, on-time, and friendly. Called Town the day before my friends' wedding at City Hall, hoping to surprise the couple, but fearing that there was no way I would get something with under 24 hours to go. Town surpassed my hopes -- they showed up promptly at the salon where the bride was getting her hair done the next morning, drove us (the couple with me as their witness) to City Hall, waited while they tied the knot, and then ferried us around town as we drank champagne and took pictures. Everything was fantastic -- Town even swapped out their standard Korbel for a bottle of Chandon at my request; and when I went to take pictures of the huge limo in front of the tiny salon, or in front of the couple's apartment, Luc would actually get out of the car and ward off oncoming traffic. I realized during my wedding planning that we eventually needed a limo for our wedding day to go from the ceremony to the banquet. So I spent one Saturday morning calling and emailing several limo companies in the San Francisco area. I was impressed with SF Town Limousine services from the get go. I spoke with Kevin and had the best customer service via telephone compared to all the other limo companies I corresponded with. Kevin was informative and prompt. He told me what I wanted to know and how much it will be and what his service will include. He promised me an email by the end of the day with the copy of the contract for their services for our day of the wedding, which included a price quote. He also informed us that day that if we wanted to tip the driver we can but gratuity is included in the final payment also. Kevin did not try to sell me a large limo or tell me he will email me then get the email contract 1 week before the wedding (those were some of the other correspondences with other limo companies). My fiance at the time also called him a few days later with some more questions after reading the contract and was impressed with Kevin's informative answers. The day of the wedding our driver was professional and courteous. He did his job and did it well. We were so happy with his services; we tip him some more that day. Used Town Limousine last night. They were excellant and I would highly recommend them! They were easy to use and sent confirmation e-mails whenever there were changes in our itinerary. Confirmation e-mails were thorough and always included all the details of the night and who to call for questions. Rates were also very reasonable! I spent my 65th birthday weekend in San Francisco and hired Town Limousine for Saturday night. We had seen Shen Yun (excellent) and, when we walked out of the Opera House, Rick (our driver) was waiting for us holding the door open. He was friendly, engaging and just made the whole experience fun. He drove us to R&G Lounge (Kevin (the owner) had not only recommended this restaurant, he made the reservations for us!) in Chinatown for dinner. Kevin had also arranged for the restaurant staff to surprise me with a cake for my birthday, which somehow Rick had snuck in). I could not believe it! Town responded the quickest; had the best prices (even for a 3:30 AM pickup from home and 12 midnight pickup from SFO) and kept in touch with me via phone as I asked. This is how good the customer service at Town Limousine is: I'm convinced "Maurice" is a fictional character. You know, like it's the name their entire customer service team uses to make the customer think that they really have one guy working 24/7 just for them. Which is what it seems like! I must have emailed/called Maurice a dozen times over the course of the last few months before my wedding, and he couldn't have been more nice and helpful. He even got me a deal that saved me a ton of money AND made sure I got a discount. Not bad for a potential figment of my imagination. And then when it came time for the big day, all the limo drivers arrived on time, provided complimentary champagne and bottled water, and even had nice chats with me about their grandchildren. What's not to love? One small caveat: I was told I would receive a phone call the day before the event just confirming everything. I didn't get the phone call, but everything went off without a hitch. So if you hire Town Limo and don't get a call the day before, I wouldn't sweat it. They are very reliable, in my experience, and I'm sure that was a very rare oversight. Reason #8 million I'd choose them again: No Fine Print. Tip, tax, total cost (everything!) is explicitly told to you in the quote they provide. Nothing extra. And the prices are extremely reasonable (if they weren't, I wouldn't have chosen them.) I'm now a two-time customer of Town Limousine, and I must say, they are fantastic. The first time, I planned a wine tour for my girlfriend, some friends and I to Sonoma. I was tired of getting estimates from limo companies for a given price, and then noticing fine print for tolls, "fuel surcharges" and all kinds of shenanigans. Town Limo didn't give me any of that. They told me the final price, and made it clear that was the final cost of the trip. We booked with them, and were happily looking forward to the trip. Unfortunately, some conflicts came up and my girlfriend and I couldn't attend. However, the rest of the group went anyway, and Maurice was very understanding when a (probably very flaky looking customer) switched the billing to whole new person 2 days before the trip. While I didn't attend that limo, my friends had a great time and the trip went off without a hitch. Having missed out that limo, though, I planned another one. We booked again with Kevin and Maurice, and Maurice confirmed everything for me. Calen, our driver, was there right at 10 am Sunday, and whisked us off to wine country. The limo was nice, and while it could have fit 10 people without any lap-sitting, it was nice to only have 8 of us in there. Calen waited for us right outside each stop/winery, and happily drove us, even while we serenaded him with multiple renditions of some 80s classics. These guys are great! Booked them for my best friend's bachelorette party last weekend. After calling/emailing several limo companies, I found Maurice to be the most responsive, friendly and willing to work with me on price. Other companies charge a 6 hour minimum on weekends, SF town limo did not. Also Maurice emailed me pictures of the exact limo that would be transporting us. We booked at trip from our hotel in SF to Sonoma for wine tasting. Our driver Luke was great. He even opened our champagne bottles for us (and the limo came w/complimentary champagne, beer and waters). All charges were included upfront in price they quoted me and they had my credit card on file so there was no hassle of paying on the day of. The bride loved it! Extra bonus: When I first contacted SF limo I asked if the stereo in their 10 person limo had an iPod hookup so we could bring our own tunes. They said no. However, when I contacted them a few weeks later to book, Maurice let me know they had upgraded the stereo to be iPod compatible! read more

I had originally booked a limo for our wedding with another company, however as the day got closer, I began getting weird vibes from them - no response to my phone calls and one-word replies to my email inquiries attempting to confirm the date. I'm normally a very laid back person, and don't stress when things go wrong - but come-on, it's my wedding day. I didn't want to be hoofing it 20 miles to the ceremony. I called Town Limousine a few weeks before the wedding and reserved an 8-person car. They sent a contract immediately (what a difference from the first place!) and stayed in touch with me frequently. I especially appreciated the phone call the day before letting me know my credit card information still hadn't arrived in the mail - I gave them the number over the phone and all was taken care of... I'm sure other companies would have just blown me off and not bothered to call. The limo itself was great - lots of water and champagne, and a whole bunch of other things we didn't get a chance to enjoy. I sent an email regarding a quote for a wine trip for a birthday celebration. I got a response within the same business day! I contacted the office number then spoke to Kevin whom was extremely professional and helpful. He gave me a simple all inclusive price per hour and I told him I will call him back once I confirm with my party. Keep in mind, I called Thursday for a Saturday booking, booked on Friday and friendly driver Mike showed up on Saturday. The limo was fully stocked with drinks (I mean alcohol and beverages) and it was super comfy and clean. Mike even offered me a cord to connect to my phone so I can play my own music. Throughout the 3 days I received emails, promptly, with the itinerary confirmation and driver information. The company provided invoices within the emails, great for corporate usage if you need reimbursement. SF Town Limo was responsive, quick and the driver was wonderful! Thank you for a great time. So this is MUCH belated, but completely merited... I used TL in September of last year for my best friend's bachelorette party. As usual, I got overly ambitious with all the places I wanted us to hit in the night. But our driver was TOTALLY chill about switching up itineraries and accommodating a car full of ladies with a lotta personality. There are certain things I cannot publicly say they rolled with, but basically ... if you have a vision for your evening... this company will really work with you to make it happen. Super dope. Our peeps had actually forgotten a bottle of champagne and shirt in the car (-- is this indicative of the evening now?) and the guys at the company were lovely enough to give me a call and return the items to me the following day. When they brought it, they even did it with presentation! It was ridiculous. I called Town and was told the driver was delayed and that they were dispatching a second car. Everyone makes mistakes, what's important is how you deal with them. A great first experience! The last time I booked a limo was for my high school prom (!) so I was a little nervous about hiring a Lincoln Towncar to bring myself and my husband to/from a concert at the Mountain Winery as an anniversary treat. I wanted a reliable driver and a nice car for the right price! I did some research on some other companies off of Craigslist who advertised some enticing offers for cheap prices for limos, but learned through some frightening Yelp reviews that you definitely get what you pay for! From my first call to Kevin at Town Limousine, I knew I was dealing with a professional, service-oriented company. Kevin gave me a competitive rate on the Towncar and had me e-mail him the price/terms that we had discussed verbally. He sent me back a confirmation via e-mail and called me back for my credit card info to complete the reservation. All-pro, but I was still a little nervous that our driver would be just as good. Sure enough, at 6:55pm on the nose (I had a pick up time of 7pm) the driver Patrick buzzed our apartment which gave us enough time to gather up our gear, get out the door and be driving away at 7. Patrick was great - low-key and non-intrusive. The car was beautiful - clean, and smelled brand new! We had control of the music we brought with the controls in our arm rest and had a smooth comfortable ride. Coming back, we got snagged up in the parking lot (small lot w/ many cars exiting at once - maybe next time I'd pony up the $15 to park during the concert?) but Patrick still got us back home on time and had no issues with making a pit stop for snacks and a bathroom break! I have had another five star experience with Town Limousine. By far the best service and best rates - which makes for a very smooth day and event for everyone. We had friends in town for wine tasting in Napa and with it being the busiest day of the week during the busiest time of year, we needed to make the most of our time with the limo up there. Jojo was our driver and he never missed a beat. He got to my house EARLY, flew (in a safe way) down the freeway and we had door to door service at every winery/location, even as I changed the itinerary in the moment. These guys make getting to and from San Franscisco a very easy thing to do! We just got back from another weekend there, and these guys could not have been better. AND we set my husband's parents up to be picked up @ SFO from Town. They have never ridden in a town car before. They still can't stop talking about what a terrific experience it was. These guys took flawless care of our parents. Met them @ baggage claim, gave them some info about SF on the drive in. And were there when they said they'd be on the trip back to the airport. My mother in law could not get over what a wonderful experience it was. It was really great for me to not worry about them not finding their way. And it makes me appreciate something none of us should take for granted.... how wonderful it is when people go that extra mile to do a job really well.
