I love to be pleasantly surprised by a place. If you want unique flavors and combinations that tickle the senses, this is it! It's an unassuming place tucked back in a hidden shopping plaza minimally decorated and clean. The menu reminds me of my favorite Velvet Taco in midtown without having to pay for parking, mortgage the house or wait forever to order. I had 3 tacos and my friend had 2 and a side. I should have taken a picture before we dove in but we will be back to do that. The Barbacoa Verde was so tender - get it on a corn tortilla for sure. Both shrimp tacos were bursting with flavors - the house-made remoulade was a perfect finish. The Garden chimichurro was a surprise and didn't taste like your typical vegetarian taco. There were so many flavors and textures. My friend got the chips baked with Parmesan cheese and they were a great upgrade from your typical nacho. The tacos are like street tacos but a little bigger. 3 were plenty enough to fill me up and on Tuesday they have a special at lunch where all tacos are $3.50. That's a steal! The dessert sounded epic and I will have to try that on my next visit. Give them a try. Support local business. This is not the Towne lake staple el Ran but it deserves some respect just the same. First time here for lunch this week. Tucked away on the street behind the McDonalds's at Eagle Drive and Towne Lake Parkway in a strip mall area. Small, family owned business. I was enthusiastically greeted and given a menu right away. They have lunch specials. Two tacos and a side for $11. The taco options were all interesting and I got the spicy shrimp and bbq taco with a side of their cilantro rice/black beans. Super fresh ingredients, attention to sourcing and they make their soft and corn tortillas in house and you can really tell the difference. Very yummy and I will be back ! They also have weekly evening specials. Go check them out, patronize this family run business with very good food and service. Also looks like they had a small but nice selections of beers on tap. I stopped in ahead of their official opening this weekend on December 11, 2025 because I wanted to see what the buzz was about before the crowds showed up. Right away, I liked the space. The restaurant was clean, calm, and didn't have the usual loud music blasting. The setup felt simple and organized. The menu is pretty small, which usually makes me think one thing. Everything on it should be done right. We started with chips and queso. The chips had great flavor and you could tell they are made in house, but they came out cold. Those chips have serious potential. If they were served hot and fresh, they would easily be some of the best around. The queso, on the other hand, was a miss. It had no real flavor, arrived cold, and at $12, it felt overpriced. My advice. Get the chips. Skip the queso. For food, we ordered the taco flight for $49 and tried the Kickin' Chicken, GA Gold, Barbacoa Verde, and Garden Chimichurri tacos. Unfortunately, the biggest issue carried over into the tacos. Every single one came out cold to barely warm. I'm big on food being served hot, especially when you're the only people in the restaurant. That part was disappointing because the flavors themselves were solid. Kickin' Chicken had good seasoning, wasn't overly spicy, and the chicken was juicy. GA Gold was the clear winner. The flavor was excellent and had it been hot, it would have been outstanding. Barbacoa Verde had great flavor, fresh toppings, and crispy beef. Again, ruined by temperature more than anything. The Garden Chimichurri was fresh and full of flavor. The chimichurri sauce stood out the most, although the rice and beans were cold like everything else. I'm not here to tear this place down. Opening early is hard and I get that. There's real potential here. If they fix the temperature issues and keep the flavor level where it is, this place could turn into one of the best taco spots in Towne Lake. read more

Their steak taco was delicious... my husband got the Woodstock hot chicken (which has some decent heat to it, and he can handle spice lol) and the barbacao. Stopped in on taco Tuesday for $3.50 tacos. Food was excellent. Started with the Lil Havana egg rolls which were delicious. Moved onto the barbaco, Cajun shrimp, and Georgia gold tacos. All were very different and good in different ways. We had a hard time deciding which one we liked best. But don't leave without trying the Georgia gold taco. Went during the week for lunch on a Tuesday and had the steak pork chicken and shrimp tacos all on flour tortillas. And they were so good I had to go back for brunch on Sunday. And my God. I am glad i did. The brunch tacos are amazing. My entire family loved every thing we had. The rise and swine. The shrimp and guac. We have ordered takeout from here a few times and we really enjoy the food. The lemon basil shrimp taco and the voodoo veggie are outstanding! My husband highly recommends the Truck burrito and the Georgia Gold taco! It is a small store front but it's clean and convenient. Such a great dining experience. Started with the Chips and Salsa that were incredible. The chips were full of flavor (parmesan cheese and herbs) could have been eaten as a stand-alone snack. The variety of tacos allowed a solid choice of selection for all in our party. Favs were the Georgia Gold (braised-pulled pork) and the Barbacoa Verde. Despite being in a strip mall, and despite it being half the size of a normal restaurant, these guys got one thing right. And it happens to be the most important part: THE FOOD. You can tell the food is quality and the portions are perfect for the price. The service was extremely fast and the attention to detail from the servers to the kitchen staff was excellent. The atmosphere was also great, I enjoyed how they dim the lights to match the time of day. The burrito was definitely my favorite thing I tried. Was excited for this new restaurant to open for months since we are literally right around the corner from it. Came in knowing it would be a bit pricey and the menu is somewhat limited. My wife had two different tacos Barabacoa and Kickin Chicken for $10, and I had "The Truck" burrito, of which I had high expectations of with such a description. However, I was pretty disappointed that for a $17 burrito, it was very underwhelming. Half of it was filled with lettuce, had pulled pork. I didn't see/taste any Barbacoa beef at all, and three small grilled shrimp. My wife could have had three tacos, but didn't want to spend $15 on it. Flavors were great on all, but no sides or anything to go along with them. Compare the burrito with Chipotle across the street where you can get 50% or more of everything in theirs along with other great stuff like grilled fajita veggies for $12 that can be ordered with NO filler like lettuce, beans, or rice (thankfully beans and rice weren't in this either). For two of us just getting water with our meal and nothing else, this ended up being about $33 including tip (for something that could be have been simply picked up at the counter). read more

I was greeted by a friendly gentleman that suggested I get the Kickin' Chicken Taco and the Voodoo Veggie. I got the Kickin' chicken with rice and beans. The tacos were good but the rice and beans were slightly hard, I did not like them. The Barbocoa taco and kickin chicken were great! I went the next day to get the VIP special, only to find out you cannot use the pass until next visit, I did not like that. I still ordered and this time i got the street tacos. I did not like it, it was cold, I did not expect that. So overall, the tacos are great but i did not like either side.
