Could this be the All-American diner... It very well could be, Freedom Square is only opened for breakfast and lunch but they make the most from both menus. I have equally enjoyed breakfast and lunch here and I find it hard to pick a winner, they are both very good. Breakfast will find you all the classic diner classics you would expect. For the lunch menu I love the hot meatloaf sandwich as well as their huge fish sandwich. Overall the food is fresh and hot, service is very good and the prices are very fair for what you get. Overall a solid choice whenever you wanna grab some classic vibes and some good food, Aloha

I have not been to Freedom Square Diner in years but wanted to try it out again around noon on Saturday. We did have to wait about 10 minutes but everyone was nice and friendly in the waiting area. We ended up getting a table by the kitchen...always a fun place to be to see the inner workings. I was a little disappointed that my favorite breakfast and lunch were no longer on the menu! My husband and I each picked a breakfast sandwich. I picked a bagel, egg and Turkey sausage with cottage fries. My husband decided on an English muffin with egg, cheese, and a huge amount of ham. Both were very good and very filling!

Strawberry spinach salad and featured special, pulled pork reuben. Both amazingly delicious and fresh. The salad included onion, feta cheese, bacon, dried cranberries and pecans with a side of raspberry vinaigrette. The sandwich had a hint of bbq sauce and swiss on it. So moist and just delish!!! The service was incredible. Liz was our waitress and so friendly and attentive. #freedomsquarediner #pulledporkatitsfinest

It was just "ok" food. The pancakes were not fluffy. The egg Benedict had little flavor. I don't think it's worth returning again. When we went to check out at the front there was a line of people needed to do the same, and a line to be seated and none of the servers would even look at us. The place was only half full so there was no excuse.

Good food and great service. Their toast is so good. This is a good place to go for a classic breakfast.

I wonder if he has ever had one? The buns are just right. Not real thick to take away from the burgers. The fries and onion rings are the best around. A bartender at another local restaurant in Monaca actually recommended this place to some guys who were at her bar and so I inquired about it. Finally managed to stop there today. They do have an easy online ordering system. I was told that it would be 30 minutes, but it was maybe about 20 until it was ready. I tried the two meat plate with pork and brisket, and I chose the sides as barbecue baked beans and coleslaw. I also ordered the capicola sandwich, but as a wrap, you can make any of their regular sandwiches into a wrap if you don't want the regular bread. Their Pittsburgh style sandwiches are all made like Primanti Brothers sandwiches with the coleslaw and the french fries fries on them. I actually really enjoyed the wrap. The baked beans are at least three different types of beans and they are smoked & flavorful. They were quite tasty. And the coleslaw is good too, they cut the mayo with cream cheese. The meat flavor was OK and we finished it, but today both our meats were slightly dry even after putting BBQ sauce on them. They do have lots of beer on tap & in bottles as well as some liquor. There are some high top tables, and then there are lots of regular tables made for larger groups. It's definitely an old school type place, BBQ dive. All staff is friendly & online ordering was easy. The sign of front says that you can call the number and they will bring your takeout order out to you in the parking lot. I went inside because I wanted to check the place out. I'd stop again if in the area I'd give it 3.5 stars actually due to the meats being dry. They do have smokers in the parking lot, but there were no ribs on the menu today.
