There is a gas station right next door within walking distance, and for some reason maybe it was because it was in December, in the morning there was not even five cars in the parking lot, and it seemed like a good chunk of the rooms were being worked on, rebuilt, or remodeled. The lobby is beautifully maintained and nicely decorated. There's a coffee bar right when you walk in, which is a great touch (though I'm not sure how frequently it's replenished throughout the day). My room was on the second floor, and it was spotless. One of the reasons I love Home2 Suites is how spacious the rooms feel. It truly feels more like a mini apartment than a standard hotel room. There are so many functional spaces to set your things down without feeling cramped. I had a full-size bed, a couch, and a long counter that could easily serve as a workspace for two people at once. I especially appreciate having the option to prepare your own meals. When you travel often, sometimes you just want to stay in and not eat out for every single meal. The bathroom was roomy with amazing hot water -- exactly what I needed to relax my muscles after that long drive. I slept great, no noise issues at all, and woke up fully refreshed. I didn't try the breakfast because my boss had suggested we go out instead. My only general suggestion -- and this applies to many hotels -- would be to focus on serving more fresh, real breakfast options. I was greeted with a warm smile and she quickly checked me in so we could get settled. I asked about some amenities I may need and she pointed me to the right direction. They have a washer and dryer, which is something I do use when I go on vacation. The actual room was spacious. Always a plus when it's a couple of people in the room. It was clean and maintained so throughout our stay. Overall great hotel. The only "complaint" I have is the mattress however I feel like this is common in most hotels. Wasn't the best mattress that I have ever laid on but it worked for the couple of nights I stayed.

I screamed "NO" and he still walked in. This is beyond unacceptable -- this is dangerous. I immediately demanded to leave and was told I would receive a full refund. I didn't even stay 30 minutes. Then comes the worst part: The manager promised me a refund again and again and again -- every time sending me a "confirmation". Every single time, it was a fake receipt. David sent me a fake refund receipt. A week later -- he sent another fake receipt. Again -- promises, again -- lies. This is not "bad service". This is intentional deception and fraud. Between a stranger entering my locked room while I was naked in the shower, and a representative repeatedly sending fake documents and false confirmations -- this company has completely failed on every level: safety, honesty, and basic human decency. I expect an immediate real refund, not another fake email and a full investigation into this incident. Stay away.

I stayed in a spacious suite with a neat view of SRQ landing strip. The suite included a sofa mattress, fridge, and microwave; I'm not sure if the regular rooms have a fridge or microwave. My kids had a blast in the indoor pool and hot tub. There are also outdoor poolside chairs available. I ordered chicken tenders with fries, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The kids enjoyed it and finished it all. The gym is conveniently located right next to the pool. I'll close it was this was a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable visit!

I would not recommend this property to anyone looking to visit. We stayed in the Tiger apartment, which sleeps four (2 Beds/2 Baths). The apartment lacked essential supplies such as adequate towels, dish and hand soap, toliet paper, and trash bags. When we asked for additional towels for the four of us staying, we were refused extras and informed the policy was one towel per person only to be changed out after three days. We were also only provided with a roll and a half of toliet paper, and never provided additional rolls despite having requested it, such that we had to purchase our own. The kitchen was not stocked with any dish towels or soap, and only one trash bag was provided. We were only provided two beach towels for the four of us, but thankfully two of us had packed our own beach towels. The most disappointing part was the fact that the beach equipment was insufficient and in poor condition. The limited chairs available were rusty, broken, and not even beach chairs, but rather foldable camp chairs. There were also limited beach umbrellas and wagons available, all of which were rusty and unusable. We essentially had to scavenge through a pile of trash to find semi-usable equipment. When we raised these issues to the property manager, we were patronized and lied to. The provided amenities completely failed to live up to what is advertised on the website and communicated in booking emails. I also subsequently found out they are not members of the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce nor are they members of the Visit Sarasota County Association. The Ringling Beach House has turned into an overpriced, fly by night operation. I do not recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Siesta Key as it falls short of the exceptional hospitality provided by the many other properties on the island.

The rooms were extremely clean, well the whole property is. Along the road around this hotel is some nice little row of motels but this place is more like little private bungalows. They have a little path to the beach which you could borrow a wagon and haul your stuff for the day. We were on the marina side so we got to watch the boat launch follies and enjoyed watching the fishermen come and go. Enjoyed the location close to a couple of reastaraunts right on the water and rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed a day on the water. Fabulous hideaway!

I called the property manager, who was reluctant to give his name. He asked me my name, never ask the room number. He told me over the phone that my deposit was returned, I checked out on 12/26 but the deposit charge was posted for 12/25. I have proof that my deposit was never returned. Is the economy that bad where businesses had to commit fraud? Ridiculous, it's not about the money but the principle. People work too hard to be cheated and lied too.
