His teacher never even asked what the kids' names were and had to find out what his teacher's name was by hearing another lifeguard calling for him. Lucas it was. The Guppy class. He had absolutely no control over his class. He let the kids who weren't having thier turn jumping in and out of the water and swimming around not paying attention. And he was definately not paying attention to them. He never taught them any swimming strokes. Just told them to do the backstroke and freestyle stroke 5 feet. He just watches them and never gave any critteique. Not once. They never swam even 1 length of the pool. Not sure how they can go from this class to the Gater class when the Gater class is swimming lengths of the pool the whole time practically. He did not know any of each kids strengths or weaknesses. Teaching them to dive from the sitting position on the side of the pool when some kids could do a great job standing. Then has kids who couldn't even do a fairly good job from the side of the pool to doing it from the diving board. Unbelievable.

Since my health didn't improve I decided to cancel my membership and on March 16 I sent a message asking for the canceletion. The answer was: first you have to pay the whole month and only then we can cancel - What?? a pro rate bill for half of March??? No way, forget it !!! WE ARE HERE TO MAKE MONEY NOT TO BE DECENT WITH OUR MEMBERS!!!! I used to love Midtown, not anymore, can't respect an organization that is abusing their people. Shame on you!

He is an exceptional asset to the club. He thoroughly explained the membership offerings and facilities, and thoughtfully matched us with trainers and classes aligned with our goals. He has consistently served as a supportive and reliable point of contact. I joined in September 2025 after more than a decade without regular exercise and was completely out of shape. My husband, while naturally active, had never worked out in a gym environment. Based on our medical needs and age--both of us in our 50s--Aaron recommended we train with Matthew Rossello. Matthew is an extraordinary trainer: highly knowledgeable, upbeat, energetic, and genuinely invested in our well-being and progress. Each session is unique, engaging, and tailored to our needs. On days when I feel unmotivated, knowing that Matthew will make the workout both enjoyable and rewarding is what gets me through the door. In just four months, both my husband and I have made progress we never imagined possible. Aaron also recommended Pia's indoor cycling classes, and she has been fantastic. Pia is incredibly entertaining, curates great music, and designs classes that are dynamic and motivating. Her sessions incorporate a variety of movements and speeds, and even include a brief meditation. I truly look forward to her classes--something I never expected to say about cycling! We have also come to enjoy yoga classes with Angela. She brings a calming, mindful approach that helps relax both body and mind, while offering stretches that leave us feeling renewed. The club overall is excellent. The facilities are comprehensive and consistently clean, and the food is outstanding. My only suggestions would be to address maintenance needs in the showers and consider enlarging the sauna--along with adding a more visible clock. Despite these minor points, our experience at Midtown has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to being members for many years to come.

The…read morepark was named in honor of beloved grandmother Rose Price who served Pembroke Pines as a civic leader, philanthropist, and champion of the elderly since 1979. After eleven years of dedicated service she resigned in 1990 after breaking her hip. Rose passed away in 1997 at the age of 83 leaving a legacy of stronger senior services in Pembroke Pines. I stopped by the park to walk off some holiday treats consumed this past month. There is a paved loop that winds around the park which is ideal for exercise. Other park amenities include a lighted baseball/softball field, lighted basketball court, swimming pools,, paddle ball courts, a shade covered playground, lighted hard tennis courts, and an event and party hall that can be rented. What makes this park unique is the Miracle Baseball Diamond which allows children with special needs to play baseball on a padded field. I found Rose G. Price Park to be a welcoming and a well-kept community outdoor recreational space that's great for all ages. The park offers plenty of open green space, making it a nice spot for relaxing, picnicking, or other outside activities. The playground areas, pool, and safe, friendly atmosphere make it especially nice for families with children. The walking paths and seating areas well maintained. Overall, Rose G. Price Park is a pleasant neighborhood park that provides a calm and peaceful space for the community.
