Idiot thought I wouldn't figure that out in 2 seconds, so I called his company and they confirmed he wasn't doing what he was supposed to. Now I have to wait upwards of a month for these people to fix a fridge ice maker and a dishwasher soap dispenser. I spent $100 to wait over a month. Sick. I needed my LG clothes washer repaired. They came out the same morning and sent a very experienced tech. Initially, he concluded that parts needed to be ordered, but then he checked one other possible problem and correctly identified a leaking hose as the real issue. To keep customers from waiting for parts, on his own initiative, he carried in his truck parts that are most commonly needed. Problem solved, the same day! Excellent value! read more

Watch a DIY video of how to diagnose the problem AND how to fix it. Then you call Towson Appliance and ask the friendly staff person to order you a new belt. Fortunately, the belt was available the very next day for pick up. It only cost $13! By evening, the belt was on and momma's Posh Wash service was back in business! read more

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with this appliance repair company and would strongly advise others to avoid them at all costs. I've been without a refrigerator for over two months now, and the level of incompetence and unprofessionalism I've encountered is beyond frustrating. It all started with an incredibly long wait for a part that I was told would take no more than ten days to arrive. Two weeks later, I was told the part had been ordered, only to be left waiting for over a month. When I finally called to speak with a representative, I couldn't even get a word in before she rudely told me to "hold my breath" and dismissed me, saying the person who handles these issues wasn't in the office--and then hung up on me! This was the same individual who previously assured me that the part was ordered and that I'd have it in ten days. To make matters worse, this company had the audacity to send false information to my warranty company, claiming that the repair had already been completed when it clearly had not. They also sent out a bill stating they'd already been paid, despite the fact that the work had never been done. I have two young kids and have been struggling without a fridge for far too long because of their inefficiency. When I expressed my frustration, they had the nerve to tell me I shouldn't be upset. They clearly have no regard for their customers, their time, or their basic responsibility to do the work they're hired for. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unreliable. Do yourself a favor and avoid them if you actually want to get your appliance fixed. They do not deserve your business. read more

Scheduled an appointment (the 9-1 slot) for which I had to wait over a week. Called the office at 1 to find out where the dude was and was told, "He must have had a lot of appointments today. He's just running late." When I asked them to confirm I should still expect a visit, I got a snippy, "He must just have had a lot of appointments today." Plot twist: No one showed up. Now, this business has been open for a minute, so I can only wonder how after all this time they haven't figured out how many appointments they can handle in a day. Particularly considering the fact that I was scheduled for morning and they never got to me. How many people were scheduled for afternoon? I have been using Towson Appliance appliance for over 20 years on multiple homes and will NEVER use them again after being treated so incredibly disrespectfully. I called for an urgent repair and was told by the person on the phone that they would only except cash to come out. When I asked why I was put on hold and told that the owner said only cash because of a prior payment issue. When pressed I could not get an answer or details on a specific service issue (which I call BS on) and was told to call back on Monday. When asked for the owner to call me, whom she said she just talked to, I was told no. But she was able to call the owner, the owner didn't have the guts to call a long-standing valued customer. I will never use them ever again. Accusing us of poor payment with no proof or call back. Stay away because if they don't value their customers, imagine the level of service you'll get. 20+ years didn't even get me a call to talk about why they thought there was an issue. read more

We had a dishwasher that sometimes flooded the kitchen, sometimes didn't, but the area was always damp and I couldn't figure it out. Their technician Rick showed up the day after I called, on time, and went above and beyond... diagnosed the problem, explained it (a blown solenoid valve) and fixed it. He had the replacement part on his truck, effected the repair, tested the unit, and did it all with good humor. We have used Towson Appliance a number of times over the years, and couldn't recommend them more enthusiastically. You may hire them with absolute confidence. read more

I have a Thermador service plan for my wall oven, and they referred me to Towson Appliance. Towson called me and scheduled an appointment. HOWEVER, the person who called suggested I first try turning the circuit breaker off and on. That solved my problem! Towson Applaince could have come out and done the same things, but they saved me that small fee I would have paid and gained a happy customer!! read more

MY FIRST BAD REVIEW. I had an appointment scheduled between one and five yesterday and received a call after 4 PM saying the technician will not arrive and that I needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for today between the hours of 1 PM and 5 PM and call at three to check the status of my technician and requested someone give me a call to let me know the approximate time of the technicians arrival; this was almost an hour ago and I have yet to hear back. The dryer went on the fritz and I had an unhappy wife and lots of dirty clothes. They came within 48 hours and had to order a part. As soon as the part arrived they went back and the repair was done, The technician was knowledgeable, friendly and honest. They are the best in Towson for sure! read more

Awesome. Was given their name from my plumber and called in service for my dishwasher and my dryer. Called after 5pm and left a message. A representative called me at 8:07am and left a message for me. I called back at 4pm and was able to get an appointment within 2 days. The window was huge, 9-5am, but he called at 10:15am to say he was 10 mins out. He arrived promptly and got to work. He ran the dishwasher to see what was wrong and while it was running, he checked out the dryer. He was able to diagnose and repair the dryer within an hour. The dishwasher wasn't acting up (of course) but he gave me some helpful, specific tips going forward. I would highly recommend this service provider. read more

Friday, March 9 a service man from this company came to my mother-in-law's home to look at a washing machine that had broken. The service man was definitely knowledgeable but was unable to fix the washer and a she needed to purchase a new one. Which is fine, have no issues with their product knowledge. The issue was when the gentleman arrived at the house, before even beginning to work on the washer he asked her "is there any hot coffee still in the house?" She being the kind person she is offered to make him a cup and he proceeded to tell her that he would like cream and sugar but none of that flavored creamer that you women ruin your coffee with! Seriously, it's 2018, what company allows their representatives to speak to customers like this? This man could not be any more misogynistic. When it was discovered the washing machine could not be fixed he told her that she was going to have to break the news to her hubby. I guess he also thinks that women cannot survive in this world without being married. In short, the company is not a bad one just poor representation. On a Friday afternoon I realized my refrigerator was not functioning. I phoned and a repairman came out to my home almost immediately. The repairman was friendly and professional and found the problem after only 15 minutes of poking around our refrigerator. No one else in the yellow pages was willing to come out until Monday.
