Hello, I was at this location today with my wife and she saw a purse she liked and wanted o buy it but it was more than the same purse we saw at Macy's , the only thing that my wife didn't like about it was the color. The manager not only price matched the item in the color she wanted with no problem , but she gave us an additional 20% off to beat there price even more. The way she ran the store made you want to return and we surely will. She was polite, friendly, professional, and efficient. My wife now has the purse she loves .. great job!!!!! read more

One of the better malls within close proximity from the city. Towson Town Center offers free valet garage parking and hosts a decent collection of shops and stores. Here, you'll find good variety on clothing and brands and see some upscale vendors as well. The food court is decent and the Apple Store here is a plus. read more

Pretty nice mall. Parking can be a bit confusing, but most all of it is covered. TONS of stores mostly higher end, but if you catch a good sale, its great. Food court is huge, and offers plenty of selections for everyone. I will be honest, one of my favorite things is the atrium open sun streaming in roof. We went to Towson Town Center just as they were opening for the day and were very impressed. The mall is clean and bright. All of the employees in each and every store were so welcoming, especially in Macy's. The selection of stores runs the gamut. The two major anchor stores are Nordstrom and Macy's. The mall does have a peculiar layout, but they have maps to get you around. There is a large food court offering something for everyone. There is plenty of garage parking. With so many malls closing down, it is refreshing to see this mall thriving. read more

I would give his mall 4 stars since it does have a nice selection of stores, but two things lower my rating. 1) Parking: Its crazy to find parking here and I've seen a few people steal spaces from others. 2) It seems like a nice up scale mall but there are a lot of trashy people that go there. So yesterday I went to TTC because of the new store Morphe. I usually shop a Christiana Mall because I had a bad experience at TTC a few years ago. The women of Morphe are amazing! The Customer Service was great. Usually shopping for cosmetics is a rushed process but my experience was great. The women of Morphe took their time with me didn't rush me out the store because I did have my twins with me. Looks can deceive. An expression that is very true about this mall. The last time my buddy came here was before 2012, and he told me that it was a pretty nice mall. But fast forward to 2016, and this place is now on the decline. I was warned by some Uber drivers that this place was bad. I did not believe them, because it is in a nice neighborhood. But upon coming here today, I can see it's declining in the same way that the Galleria back home is. We parked inside the structure, and noticed many security guards on duty. We had an easy time finding parking, and headed inside. The crowd was most definitely not our type of crowd. This is not meant as a racial comment, as the crowd here was fairly mixed ethnically. I specifically meant how people were behaving here. The folks here were acting very rowdy, and it turned me off to the place. What a pity, because the mall seemed great from the outside, and there are many good stores here. Neither my buddy nor I will be coming here again. What the what?! First you are greeted by a parking garage that makes this mall near unusable! Seriously it's like trying to play Jenga but with cars, most of which are operated by people driven to near insanity from trying to navigate it's labyrinth contours. Then inside you are greeted by awesome upscale stores riddled with the most unpleasant people Baltimore has to offer. Also, a message to the roving-gangs-of-teenagers: We get it, you can walk incredibly slow while being menacingly loud, and all without buying a single thing. Though you would think the 40 security guards for every square inch would make you feel better, and it does for a moment, until you realize that they need this many security guards for a reason and that reason is crowd control as the mall functions like a funnel of death. Four floors that descend in size and with fewer escalators leading to moments where you think that if a loud noise startled this horrible herd surrounding you it is likely you would both be trampled and robbed. Years ago I visited the mall and it was pleasant, now it is overcrowded with people who use it like a daycare for troubled youth. One redeeming quality, it has a Lush store. read more

It's a typical mall. However, it's one of the better ones in the beltway area. Over the last few years, it has seems some serious upgrades. They have added some rather trendy stores for the hipsters. Also some rather out of place, high end stores, too much for average locals. On a Friday or Saturday night, it seems like bunch of kids from the inner city just took a bus up to TTC. This evening I was at the Towson mall. When they were getting ready to close, I was sitting at a table waiting for my partner to finish shopping. As I was sitting there, I observed the security guards were very derogatory. I heard one guard say to another adult "you need to get the f*** out". Also, another guard preceded to follow a lady who just finished up shopping. He proceeded to follow her for no reason. It got to the point where the security guards seemed timid to even accompany another guard. It was two main guards that I witnessed whom were acting in this behavior. I have been to Towson mall numoerous times, this is the first time I have ever felt uncomfortable there. read more

Reviewing a mall is tricky. There's so much to cover. Towson Town Center (TCC) has grown in the past 5 years, adding a luxury wing and popular full size restaurants to bolster their already substantial retail and food offerings. TCC is Maryland's second most valuable retail real estate property, and it shows. People come, the business grows, and TCC consistently reinvests in the experience. Anyone close to Towson overall has seen the emerging presence of cranes and development. The area is a burgeoning hot spot for Baltimore County fun if your turned off by the adventure of traveling into the city's various hot spots. One growing concern has been a spike in crime throughout Towson's central business district. TCC has consistently invested in more security, both digital and physical. There is ample parking protected by 100's of cameras and active motion sensing lights throughout, all circled by lighted security vehicles slowly inspecting the environment. Inside, there are guards everywhere on the busier nights. As a matter of fact, I saw armed "Police" presence throughout the mall last Friday. In short, it's safe and they're motivated to keep it that way. Most nights the crowd is fairly diverse; however, on Friday and Saturday nights the joint feels like a pre-adolescent day care. A lot of parents dump their kids there, and naturally they are overwhelmed with social glee as they stampede around the mall armed with rumors of crushes and glitter based products. If you don't like kids, be aware of these nights. This mall does seem to pack in a heavy amount of kiosk vendors, and some of them are a tad intrusive if not rude. Not all. But some. It can be tiresome having someone jam product in your face every 5 feet when you're trying to chill out. The newer restaurants (Cheesecake Factory, Stoney Creek, P.F Changs) on a Friday and Saturday evening are LOCKED DOWN WITH TRAFFIC. None of these restaurants take reservations beyond "same day", so you can literally expect an hour wait if you casually roll up on any of these options without planning. It really can suck under those circumstances. You'd think they were giving away free cheesecake. It's nuts how many people subject themselves to chain food. The biggest issue with this mall is the layout. Anyone not from the area will feel like their in a corn maze or retail fun house. Since it was built up throughout 40 years, it's form is accidental rather than intentional. As a regular, I am always guiding the lost to their targeted destination. In short, I think it's the best mall in Maryland. 4 out of 5 stars. To earn 5 stars you'd have to remove 50% of the harassing kiosks, and have more resources for mapping out the mall (map app wouldn't hurt, since everyone is rocking a smartphone in 2014). I wouldn't say this place is like hell to me, but then again I've never been. I went on an excursion to buy jeans. Like normal man jeans. Ones that aren't predistressed with what looks like semen stains all over them. No thanks, I'll distress my own jeans and get them covered in semen on my own time thank you very much. No, I wanted relaxed fit blue jeans that were not skinny or weird. I ended up leaving with some bath and bodyworks lotion and a feeling of confusion, amnesia, and like I might have been taken advantage of. This mall is mammoth and a labyrinth with architecture that'd make Escher blush. I could barely find my way back to my car and with every turn I just got deeper and deeper into the bowels of this infernal place until I ended up by a store that smelled like an Aqua Velva circle jerk and then by a store that I felt like I had to pay just to look at. To stop my ranting: -The Sears has the worst Dickies section I've ever seen. Very few work clothes. -Levi's had no normal jeans. They were all girly man jeans. -The Best Buy that the internet says is a full sized one if a small mobile phone store. -Teenagers. -Some stores smell powerfully bad from the outside (and from the inside I assume). -it's huge and hard to find your way around. Ah, Towson Town Center. I have a love/hate relationship with the place--I worked there for nearly a decade. I saw stores come and go. I spent ridiculous amounts of time in the place. Now? I only set foot in there when I absolutely have to, to make a specific purpose, or when I feel especially masochistic. They've recently finished a rather extensive remodel of the first two floors. Really classed up the joint, I guess. There's a Cheesecake Factory now, as well as a PF Chang's (I've eaten at neither). There's a bleeding Burberry store now. I suppose they're trying to court the folks living to the north of Towson who would normally go to NYC to do their designer buying. Apparantly there will soon be a Lacoste as well as a Louis Vuitton store. I'd say that the improvements in eating options are a good thing. The Food Court is better than it used to be. I guess. Here's a tip for you: don't bother with weekends. Kids from both of the colleges down the street mob the place, as well as spoilt teenagers from all over. If you need something, go between Monday and Wednesday and save yourself the hassle of the meandering crowds. Plus, the poor folks behind the counter are slightly more inclined to be pleasant to you. Also, a further tip: there's forty seven levels to the garage. Most of the time, it's best not even to bother trying to find parking on one of the levels with an entrance. For the love of all things holy people, walk up and down a level of stairs--it'll take less time than circling level 2 or 4 waiting for a spot. read more

My old shopping grounds during my college days at Goucher, which was conveniently down the road. Pretty good variety of stores in a pleasant, clean, well-lit environment. The layout is a bit funky and can be confusing if you're trying to get to the top floor, but it's not a big deal. The fact that they have a Harry & David store makes up for that. Parking can be nightmare during peak hours (Saturday afternoons, especially) but what do you expect with a shopping mall in the suburbs? My friends and I used to go to the Rainforest Cafe a lot. (Oooh jungle sounds! And mist! And a live parrot! In the mall?!) In retrospect, this was probably a very kitschy and silly thing to do, but I guess we were just kitschy, silly kids back then. (Yeah, like much has changed in 5 years!) My only regret is that I never ate at Chick Fil-A in the food court. Why did no one ever tell me how frikkin' good a Chick Fil-A chicken sandwich was?!?! We don't have them in NYC and the first time I tried one was in Virginia - I couldn't believe I allowed myself to miss out on such a yummy fast food treat for four years!! When I was very young, this mall had two levels, no Nordstrom, and a diner inside of it! 20 some years later there is a flipping Burberry. I do like Towson. I like that it's trying to be an upscale mall in Baltimore, and if that doesn't make you laugh then nothing will. The "upscale" section has a Burberry, LV, BCBG, and a Tiffany and Co is opening up. I'm not entirely sure how these places stay in business. To be perfectly honest if I want frou-frou designers, I drive to Tyson's or New York. I love Baltimore but I do not associate it with hosting Burberry. The mall is clean, and it is nice. Almost all of the stores are filled too! read more

I would give it one star, but since I do come here often I felt the need to give it two. The reason why I come here often is because this is the only shopping mall within 40 mile radius from where I live. I have no choice but to utilize this mall if I need to shop at variety of stores. I will say that their shops range from Wet Seal- though I would never shop there, to high end stores like Burberry and Louis Vuitton. I would also like to see more stores come in that fit my style, but some of the current ones will suffice for now. Now on to the worst part of all, the weekend. It is impossible to maneuver around the mall due to high capacity of people. Not to mention teenyboppers who just like to hang in the middle of the mall on every floor. And despite the large parking structure (I believe 4 or 5 stories), forget about finding parking on the first two floors on weekends. Secondly, the bathrooms are disgusting, especially the one in food court. If I must go to the bathroom at the mall, I go to the one in Nordstrom which isn't the best, but a lot better than the bathroom in the food court. I may come from shopping at Water Tower Place on Michigan Ave. in Chicago for more than 5 years, but gees! It is absolutely unbearable to even step into those bathrooms , the smell, lack of sanitation and everything else you can imagine about a disgusting bathroom. My advice to you is hold it until you get home, but if you can't, use the Nordstrom bathrooms. Small detail to catch if you shop at J.Crew. This J.Crew only carries women's. I walked in wanting to look for things for my boyfriend to find out that they don't carry men's. The closest J.Crew that carry both sexes is Annapolis Mall. Bummer. A minor pro of this mall for me is that they have Auntie Anne's on three different floors! Don't judge, but Auntie Anne's a must when shopping. The convenience of three different Auntie Anne's in this ginormous mall is great. Overall, I would DEFINITELY avoid this mall on weekends if you want a peaceful, relaxing shopping experience or if you just want to get around the mall in general. I've been a couple of times on weekdays, and it is a lot better. But who has time to go shopping on weekdays? One thing for sure, it will never be a quick stop. read more

Overall, Towsontown has plenty of stores and restaurants for anyone. It serves its purpose like any other mall. Personally, I haven't ever felt uncomfortable or threatened by the mall patrons. It's silly that people are making assumptions, whether explicitly or not, about groups of people. Not sure what other reviewers are hinting at there (well, I do, but I won't go all the way there), but it's well lit and security is around. Also, people mind their own business and don't bother you. The only reason I don't come as frequently is because the parking is ridiculous during peak times. I mean, it's hard to find a spot and people drive around like they are on a track at Indy 500. Plus, the parking lot walkways for pedestrians aren't very safe to avoid these fools driving recklessly. All in all, if I was a teen, I'd probably give 5 stars. But, I'm not. Actually, I was looking for the Bose store in Towson Mall, but for some reason, it didn't appear when I searched for it, and as I had intended to write a review of one particular aspect of Towson Mall, anyway, I thought this would be an opportune time to do so. So here it is. The focus of this review will be the Women's toilet facility, which is just beyond the Food Court. THAT one. Not the others. However, before I go THERE, I just want to say this is one of the most poorly designed malls I have ever come across. Very unfriendly for human traffic. Escalators in odd places, often not working, which then require the consumer to trek back and forth - before you get to where you want to go. Annoying, to say the least, but good exercise, I suppose, especially when you are not fond of exercise, like me. Anyway, back to subject of this review: The Women's Toilets. There must be a problem with ventilation because every time I have to use the toilet there, it stinks. It's REALLY bad. And consistent. And so affects your appetite that, if you need to use the bathroom before you eat, it's squashed by the time you're done, and food is so NOT appealing afterwards. You're appetite vanishes - completely - as your senses try to reconcile the experience of crap and food, even though that's a human behavior we all share. We all eat. And we all crap. The stench blows you away as soon as you enter the room. You hold your breath just to get through the experience. Strange thing is, I was with a friend there, and he told me the men's bathroom is free of organic odors. So I'm not sure what exactly is happening here. Maybe men don't like to crap in public and women do? Not sure about the psychology of taking craps in public facilities. So until management rectifies this problem, I suggest whenever possible (though convenient) to avoid THOSE bathrooms, especially when you're hungry - unless you're trying to diet. Used to be the best mall because it is located in the best part of the county, but public transportation is quickly erasing that. Still has a nice selection, 4 levels, and they are still adding to a really expensive wing which includes Ed Hardy, Burberry, Louis V, and soon to come, True Religion Jeans and Tiffany. I remember when this place was tiny and didn't have half of the acreage that it does now. The Macy's used to be a Hecht's and there was no such thing as Trader Joe's, heh. These days.... Louis Vuitton? Burberry? Seriously? At least with stores of this caliber, you know you'll find every other store in existence for the 99%.... I'm not overly fond of this place simply because it's too cavernous for me. I don't like shopping much as a rule anyway, but when the place is THIS large, I just get overwhelmed and I want to leave. There are a couple of reasons I'd come here, though - - The Macy's is huge and is stocked with everything. This is my go-to Macy's if I want something from there.. - The addition of Sur La Table is a guarantee that I'll be back. I LOVE Sur La Table. - Food court options are decent, even for a diabetic. Plenty to choose from and the pricepoints are good. - There's enough variety here so that you'll find something for everyone, though the rock-bottom discount stores aren't going to be here (you want Eastpoint or Mondawmin Mall for that). There are a lot of sulky, bored teenagers giving people the evil eye, but that's prevalent at almost any mall you go to. Some things haven't changed since 1984, heh. Not my first choice to stop into for shopping, but it serves my purposes when I need it. read more

I remember the days when Owings Mills Mall was king and Towson Town Center was its lousy alternative if you found yourself on that side of town. Ohhh how times have changed since the 1990s-2000s! Now Towson Town Center is home to just about every store you could dream of going to (I say 'just about' because unfortunately Urban Outfitters is not IN the mall... it's a few blocks away, grr). In the past few years they've built on an extension with some high end stores, like True Religion, Tiffany & Co., and BCBGMAXAZRIA to name a few. They've also upped their food game, with the additions of The Cheesecake Factory (my fav!), P.F. Chang's, and Stoney River's Steakhouse. I know these renovations are years old, but being back home from college has given me the opportunity to fully appreciate these changes! read more

This mall has it all from high end to the more pocket friendly stores. I would fly into town just to get my shopping on here. I'm glad I was there for an entire week on business - I needed at least two days to really explore the entire mall. One just to explore all there was to offer. I was excited to find a Nordstrom and a Nordstrom Rack within short walking distance of one another. Boy did I do some damage between the two of those stores. It may just be me, but I wasn't impressed with the Macy's, specifically, the women's shoe department. It really sucked! The sales associates were extremely nice though. Found some great deals on business suits just across the way. Suits can be difficult to find in beach cities like San Diego -just another price to pay for living in paradise. I didn't have problems with parking, however, I did find the mall to be a maze. It's difficult to maneuver, and not very user friendly. The directory just below the food court helped me out tremendously. I'm a fan! read more

Towson Mall was always one of the better malls to attend, but now it feels like it's the only mall to hit up. It's been years (emphasis on the years part) since I went to Towson. I remember coming here with my mom growing up and loving the size and all the wings that seemed like a neverending journey to visit. I came here with my family (husband, two tots , and my mom) on Christmas Eve no less and had no problem. We were willing to pay $10 for the special holiday valet (you get a few perks and coupons and proceeds help a breast cancer organization), but, surprise, it was full. We were able to find a ton of empty parking at the top of the garage (still covered). Towson gets a virtual high-five for its new additions (maybe they've been here and it's new to me) -- including specialty and high-end stores -- that make it sparkle. I LOVE Crate and Barrel and Sur la Table and was so happy to spend some time looking through the store and making one or two purchases. For being Christmas Eve, there wasn't a ton of people there that made walking difficult. The mall was also clean. I'm definitely coming back to Towson Mall if and when I need to grab something. read more

I'm not from Towson, so I must not be used to it, but the traffic getting into this mall MUST BE FIXED. It is horrible and just plain stupid. What is the point of that roundabout? Blahh, it's confusing and I don't think I'll ever figure it out (Towson is a trek for me, BUT I think I will stick to this trek) because this mall is pretty damn good. I remember a few years ago it was whack as hell and in teh middle of construction....no beuno. It's better now and they have the best F21 of all time. They have a M*A*C* store and a Mac store...what more could you ask for? Their Macy's is small, but organized. Do they even have a Nordstroms? I'm not sure. Towson Town would be an amazing place to shop if parking wasn't such a pain-in-the-ass. Seriously. As long as I can remember (which isn't very long, but for the sake of this story please humor me) this was *the* place to go for upscale shopping in Baltimore. I use the term "upscale" loosely, although there are more high end stores here than anywhere else in the city. I really enjoy coming here, especially around the holidays, to shop and people watch. Being from Atlanta, it's fun to see what the kids up here are wearing (and most times it's not what the kids down south have on). Nordstrom is probably my favorite store here and I love that they have their outlet in the lower level. Very convenient to find deals in case there weren't any upstairs. The food court is quite extravagant, too. read more

This mall is huge and does have a lot of nice stores, but it is always incredibly crowded. The parking situation is a disaster. The parking garages are small and just waiting for an accident to happen. The mall is big but the lay out is confusing and stores can be hard to find. The worst part of this mall is the food court. You would think they would have a nice big food court with tons of options but that is not the case. The food from all the places I tried was just ok. I hated coming this mall and would prefer the mall in Columbia or another mall near by. We go to a mall almost every weekend and this mall is a really let down. I was also disappointed in the selection at all the stores. Not that great and service at most of the stores is just ok. Unfortunately, it is the only mall in the area. The parking garage is sort of centered in the mall, and the restaurants are connected to the mall for easy access. The selection of stores is great. My only issue with this mall is that it's almost TOO big. Overwhelming, in a sense. You'd probably need 2 entire days to browse every store here. Short and sweet ^_^ I love this mall, I use to attend Towson University and the mall was literally a five minute walk. Unfortunately after I graduated I moved downtown. This mall has everything you need from the makeup to the bottom of my feet. You'll never leave this mall without something in your hands. So, ever since being a shy undergrad at Loyola, I've been a fan of Towson Town Center. I have yet to find another mall that have something for everyone...ev.er.y.one. There's a wide variety of stores with prices ranging from low (college budget!!) to high (you know, those stores with the 3+ dollar signs lol?..yeah, those). I've become so familiar with the mall that I typically park by an entrance that's near a store I'm targeting so that I can quickly run in and run out. Otherwise, I get caught up in the temptation of "just one more store" or "well lemme look real quick." There's even a Trader Joe's and Barnes and Noble in close proximity which is an added bonus. Not to mention the semi-new (2008 era) extension that contains a Pottery Barn, Sur La Table (my favorite!!), Tiffany and Co., Louis Vuitton, Crate and Barrel, Stoney River and Cheesecake Factory!
