O'Reily down the street didn't have the wrench I needed to and the dude at the counter was straight ass. They didn't have the tool i needed, told me I couldnt borrow the wrench and said they don't rent tools out. Brodie working there didn't act right. Fu*k that place. Figured I'd just pay whatever at a shop so I didnt fry the engine. I went down the street thinking id be cooked and get screwed. The manager was chill, didn't act like i was a dumba**. They handled business quick. When they were done, I asked how much i owed. They wouldn't take anything and hooked it up. This shop came in clutch and bailed me out of a situation I put myself in without making me feel stupid and refused to let me pay. They treated me with respect and kindess. Mind you they charged me $205 for a half assed diagnostic test that took them 2 days to complete. I got no video of the visual inspection as promised and the parts they wanted to replace at top dollar would not have fixed the power issue I was experiencing. I called Tony at SocalZ and let him know what was happening, he immediately made time for me to come in, they inspected my vehicle, retested units I had previously replaced to make sure they were operating properly and found a solution to get my vehicle back to running at optimum performance! The cost for parts and repairs are extremely reasonable that I was able to upgrade other components and stay within my budget! On top of that, I have peace of mind knowing that my car has been thoroughly evaluated by expert technicians. They did keep their word on warranty and fixed the part free of charge but customer service was very passive aggressive and petty about it stating "even though we had nothing to do with this, we fixed the issue for you and will not be charging you" and seemed to be bothered we actually took the warranty period that was offered. A simple "we apologize for the inconvenience" would've been sufficient enough.
