Took my wife's 2024 Lexus NX 250 to get its first oil change, car hasn't even hit 5k miles. Went in knowing the wait was 2-3 hrs and only got an update because I texted the number at the 3hr mark from when I initially dropped it off. I also was expecting a car wash or at minimum a windshield wash, at least that's what Lexus dealerships do maybe my expectations were too high for this Toyota dealership. I scheduled an oil change for 12:30 pm and didn't get my vehicle until 6:03 pm. For some reason my vehicle was the last one to be serviced. When I questioned the delay for a simple oil change, the lady processing my paperwork just said that a lot of people had also scheduled appointments for that day. I don't understand why Toyota schedules so many appointments, if they don't have the manpower to service them on time. Sadly, this is the 3rd time this happens. On 02/25/21 I took my 2021 Toyota Supra to get the brakes inspected. I dropped it off at the old service department location. Jose the service adviser took pictures of the car and odometer with his or work tablet, which is standard. He also scanned the vin barcode from the inner driver door and asked for my information since I did not buy it there. I purchased the car from Toyota of Pharr. I had one bad experience with Toyota of Laredo sales dept. concerning a 2019 CH-R, and a lot of bad experiences with the service department on multiple vehicles. Mileage at drop off (Supra) was 907 but paperwork states 987.I could be wrong about the mileage but that's what I remember before taking the shuttle home. Before dropping the car off I did a 360 walkaround for damage and there was no damage at all. Rarely driven. I received a call on 02/27/21 a Saturday at 4:10PM from Jose stating the car was ready. I was busy and they were closing soon. Sundays they are close. On 03/01/21 Rolando called me and advised me that everything was ready and that Toyota corporate gave the ok to release it to me. Finally, on 03/04/21 at 9:41AM I took a Lyft to the new Toyota facility to pick up the car. The staff was very friendly which was very new to me. I asked if they received new training and to my surprise they said yes. They handed e my keys and had someone drive it up to the front. Before leaving I did my usual 360 inspection and noticed minor damage to the driver front bumper side. I called the service advisor to come check the car out and to provide me with the pictures that were taken at drop off or video footage of when the car was dropped off. We walked in and he could not find anything. I did not want to leave but the manager approached my driver side window and told me to go to their collision center and it would be repaired. That to me was an admission of responsibility and did not want to argue. Mileage out was 988. I went to the collision center and the older gentleman took pictures with an old camera and said he would call me. The next day on 03/05/21 I get a call from the service manager stating they will only take 50% responsibility and that the best they can do is pay 50% only at their collision center. This was due to the man at the collision center stating that it was impossible the service center did it. It was around $700 out of my pocket. I said no I will sue and immediately went to talk to the man at the collision center to ask him why he would say that. I had my phone in my shorts pocket and started recording. This was getting out of hand and there were no signs of no recording. I explained everything and he got really upset and started yelling at me and I calmly left. I never uploaded the video to social media as of yet. On 03/05/21 I called Toyota corporate and filed a complaint #2103050771. I never heard from them. I called back on 03/09/21 for an update and Russel said the dealership responded with im not allowed to go there for recalls or services or anything at all and will end all communication with me. I then called Johnny Watson part of the family that owns Toyota locally and manages Mercedes of Laredo. He in the past has helped me with Toyota and reached out to him on multiple times. The last time I spoke to him (03/24/21) he said he would be getting pictures or video, but all he got was the pictures the body shop took. I never heard back from him. I called again on 04/05/21 left a voicemail. I called again 04/07/21 and he was not there. At this point im filing a BBB complaint then a lawsuit. I will now go in person to look for mr.watson and see whats going on since he is not calling me back. read more

Absolute scammers. I wanted to buy a truck there and I was doing the process over the phone. Submitted mine and my wife's info for the financing. I did not want to do a trade in. I was looking at a Tacoma for 38k and I had 10k to out down in cash. They denied me after making me send everything from bank statements to proof of income from the VA. Said they needed a trade in. Alright, fine, here's the details on my Nissan. Next day they call and say alright, you're approved. The trade in adds 6k to the loan, your payments are 800 and an 18% interest rate! We only found one bank that would take you. I request my deposit (300, placed to save the truck for me) back. Have to message them 4 times before they finally send proof of refunding. Still took 4 days for me to get the refund. 4 hours after they told me 800, another dealership had me approved with Toyota financing with no trade in, a more expensive truck (TRD Sport whereas they had an SR5) for 500 a month, with an 8% interest rate. Again, with Toyota financing. And yet Laredo only found one tiny bank that would approve me for an insane rate. Unprofessional scammers that try and guilt trip you and try to lie. read more

I live over 3 hours away and I do not recommend this dealer because it is not interested in offering a fair trade value nor is it willing to match written offers from local dealers. It would be a long 6 hour round trip wasted at an uninterested dealer. I have been trying to work out a deal with this lazy and scum ridden dealer since June 24. I next heard from this dealer July 8 from a voicemail. I responded on July 8 but as of today, July 22, I have not received any response from this lazy and scum ridden dealer. Good: Sales staff is great, along with the finance team. They were able to sell me the car I wanted and gave me a fair price for my trade in. Was in and out within 2 hours with new keys in hand and drove off the lot in a new car. Bad: Do not expect your oil change to be done within 3 hours of your appointment even if your waiting In person. I would not of been mad if they told me it would not be done for several hours and I should get an Uber, but that didn't happen. I was not warned before hand even though I dropped it off 30 minutes prior to appointment time even I stated I would be waiting and sticking around. Also, if there is a waiting area, I was not told about it. If my service contract wasn't free with my vehicle purchase I would not recommend getting service here. This is the only Toyota dealer in or remotely close to Laredo so your stuck with it. Stuff they can work on: 1. Warn your customer that they should not stick around if it's going to take many hours for your scheduled tire rotation and oil change. 2. Customer Service at the Auto Service is the worst I have never had to deal with, suck unprofessionalism the gentleman who was allegedly helping me was more worried about eating he cheetos then help me out. All I was asking was for a simple yes or no and all I got was a Maybe I don't know. WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER! service advisers are on the whatsup watching videos and laughing when you walk inside don't even look at you or say hello good morning. poor toyota of laredo great brand, very bad service personnel. they are always struggling to get good staff, they have change service managers and advisers so many times is ridiculos and this manager is a short timer too. this service manager called roger lara i believe is his name very short fuse individual not the person you want to contact to resolve your issue don't waste your time if you are in need for something your better off calling 1-800-toyota but do not ask for this dude leave him in his office do not disturbed him. took my 2018 tacoma truck for 10k maintenance and complained that white paint was not shining and water spots were not coming off after washing. ask them to consider looking into the paint for any abnormal lacquer because i had other tacomas in the past and this is the first one that water spots are impregnated in the paint and instead of helping to resolve the issue, begin to give me a rant and a lesson that if i have sprinklers at my house that hardness causes that, i responded to him that i have a water softener connected in all the faucets and that my other car does not suffer the same spots he responded let me finish don't interrupt me. wtf? he continue raising his voice maybe is the rain and mother nature acts are not covered under our warranty that maybe all I'm looking to get a free wax. i told him that i had purchase the vehicle protection option for 500 bucks plan but this knooklehead ignore me and begin to boil his short temperament at the point that i had to leave before things got out of control. toyota of laredo needs to reconsider this short temperamental person he is just not the right person you want as a service manager. Our experience was great. We drove two hours to Mercedes, unfortunately they threw the whole, "your car doesn't hold value" bs so it upset me because it was an Fj cruiser! Totally holds it's value. So we left and went to Toyota and got what we wanted and the Toyota I wanted. They did not lowball me. The salesmen from Mercedes called and texted me to go back that they could work on the trade, and that they were the same company. I said no thank you, Toyota gave me what I asked for thank you. The worse experience I ever had in a Toyota dealership service department! I had an appointment for 9AM March 2019, to swap rear break pads and oil change. It was suppose to take 2hours total according to Rolando Garza. However it took over 6+hours on a two hour job due to the service department lending a critical Tool to a friend. Meanwhile I asked them to drop me off at a local restaurant for a one hour lunch/dinner; an they forgot about me! The service manager Beto pena! Apologize and gave a free oil chance. Horrible customer service. It's Thursday 2:30 p.m. have been calling for over 2 hours the phone recording says says that I am calling after business hours. Took my car in two weeks ago and I called to find a part was in, it was the wrong part but yet nobody ever calls me back to tell me parts are in. Call the service manager Roger Lara and he said he would call me back immediately after he reviewed the paperwork that was yesterday afternoon no call yet and can't reach anybody at the dealership. Im from San Diego, CA and the dealership in San Diego does a way better service. They did a pretty quick job but in San Diego they do the Oil Service for $35 and they charged me in this dealership $10 more. Also, they will always wash my car in the San Diego dealership. read more

Filed a formal complaint with Attorney Generals office, your actions and devious practices have caused hardship on my exwife and children. As of today, 12 days after you withheld child support from me and neglected to send it to the child support office my exwife still does not have her financial support. After numerous documented texts, calls and emails youve yet to release said funds. According to your accounting department the office of the Attorney General would be getting a phone call on Monday 29th to verify and confirm check was being overnighted. I am awaiting further information from the Attorney Generals office for further action. The neglect on your behalf has caused my ex wife, my children and my self hardship, please release funds immediately, ACH or overnight what you withheld from me.
