Do not order from Toys R Us online. They had a special on shipping if you order over $100 and so my wife and I ordered a whole bunch of stuff for our kid. When it finally arrived it was missing $60 worth of merchandise. (They forgot to put it in the box on their end). So they told me they would credit and I would have to re-order. I said what about the free shipping? They said I would now have to pay for the shipping. :( I asked to talk to a supervisor, was put on hold for a bit. Then they said supervisor would call me back within the next 24 hours!!!!????? BOOOO Toys R Us your customer service makes me so sad :( read more

this store always has massive lines. today i stood in line to do a rerurn and spend more money and they refused to cash out the new toys...wtf!! so i had to stand in another long line to buy the toys my son already picked out. if my son wasnt with me, i would have said keep the f***in toys. this store really needs to improve on customer service. read more

The customer service in-store (Richmond BC location) was lovely- the problem I had came after ordering an attachment to attach my car seat to my stroller. I rec'd a gift card for Toys R Us and decided to order the product I needed from them, as the cost was already covered by the gift card. I was quite close to my due date in my pregnancy at that point. I went to the store, ordered the attachment (as the store didn't have it in stock), paid for it in full with my gift card and they were going to have it sent to my condo for delivery. I was told it would take about a week as it would be coming from the Langely, BC store. As the gift card was used up on the payment, I threw it out. I was home the whole week and the product never arrived. I called Toys R Us to find out when they expected the product to arrive. I was advised that I would have to contact Purolator, as they were the ones shipping it to me, and Toys R Us wasn't responsible for tracking it, as it was my purchase and out of their hands. So I called Purolator for status. I was advised that I couldn't be given status without the shipping # (I was only given the Toys R Us order # by Toys R Us). I called Toys R Us back and asked for the shipping # for Purolator. Then I called Purolator back and was advised that they had tried to ship the product to me but no one was home at delivery (not true- I hadn't left the apartment all week as I was already 1 week overdue at that point and not the fault of Toys R Us). Anyway, I was told I would have to pick the package up at Purolator. 2 days later I was induced at the hospital and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. The day after I got home from the hospital (another 3 days) my husband and I drove to purolator to pick up the package. It wasn't there. I was informed by Purolator that they had shipped the package back to the Toronto Toys R Us because I hadn't come soon enough to pick up the package and they had called Toys R Us and Toys R Us had confirmed it was ok to send the package back. Toys R Us never called or emailed me to see if this was ok, or to inform me of their actions, even though I had already paid for the product in full (so not their right to decide for me I would say- especially seeing as how they wouldn't contact Purolator in the first place to find out what happened to it). I was the one that had to contact Toys R Us to get a refund- they never contacted me. I was given a refund, but on the original gift card! I advised them I didn't keep it (how many people keep gift cards once they are used up??). They sent me a new one, which took a month to arrive, and once it arrived I had to call Toys R Us in order to activate it (not so bad as this is a security feature). I don't understand how a company can tell you the package is your responsibility on one hand and then take charge of what happens to it at the next. The whole experience was completely frusterating, especially right after having a baby. I wouldn't recommend ever ordering something from Toys R Us to be delivered unless you are sure to have the time to deal with it if the product doesn't arrive.
