They used to be located on Trabue Rd. just outside of Hilliard but due to "development" around him he was pushed out. He moved to Westerville near Polaris but it's really not that far. My wife is currently there getting her brakes done and said it's an awesome new shop. Support this guy and make the drive. His prices vs. the other guys? No comparison. Majid offers value. You're going pay out the caboose at other shops but Trabue Garage? No way. He'll work with you and keep it affordable. Stopped by to see what the loud noice was coming from my muffler system. Found out it was a rusted connection between two pipes. The owner suggested I go to Mad Hatter Muffler and they could quickly and cheaply weld the pipes back together. I just moved to the area and was skeptical of going to a small garage. I called regarding a weird noise with my car, they gave me an estimate over the phone for what I guessed it was, which it ended up being. I lived down the street within walking distance from this garage for 3 years and didn't bring my car anywhere else. It looks a little rough around the edges, but don't be scared off. The owner is incredibly nice. Every time I call, he tells me to bring my car in that day to have it looked at. Several times, he diagnosed my issue just by listening to it. Sometimes I've had to leave my car there a few days to get repairs done (because of my personal schedule, no fault of his). But usually, he has it ready in 1-2 days. The price is super reasonable too! I'm bummed I had to move out of state. But before I moved, I brought both my cars there to get them tuned up. Will miss this garage! So I drive a Suzuki and if anyone knows anything about this car, they know how rare it is and how hard it can be to find a mechanic that'll work on it and parts for it. I was in urgent and I mean urgent need of getting new breaks and all of the mechanics I've reached out to either 1. denied me or 2. tried to charge me an insane amount! But this garage right here and these people worked their magic. Not only did they schedule me for the same day, but they also gave me a perfect quote with a reasonable price, and they stuck by it. After they finished my breaks the same day, the owner made sure to talk me through what they had done and to reassure me to call them if anything else was wrong and to keep them updated. I have been a regular here for the past 6 years. I was introduced to Majid (the owner) through a good friend and have not had the need to go anywhere else since. Majid is honest, jovial and an industrious worker. Not only do I take our cars there, I have even bought two out three cars I have owned from him. He is easy on the pocket book and will source out parts from the junkyard to save you money. He is better at understanding English than speaking it, but his warm smile and can-do spirit keeps me coming back. We have been regulars of Trabue Garage (Majid!) for years, and basically use him for all of our car needs if possible. (There are a very few services that he cannot do, and we need to go to a dealer - but this is rare. He will always tell you if this is the case.) Majid is very honest and knowledgeable about looking at a car's problems, figuring out what's wrong, letting your know the price, and completing all work in a timely fashion. His pricing is reasonable and you NEVER get the impression that he is being dishonest or charging too much. He has fixed things for $200 that a car dealership service department had misdiagnosed and quoted me $2000 on!! I trust Majid 100%. My Honda civic had P0420 code and my friend referred me to Majid. He charged $20 to clear code and suggested catalytic converter replacement. Lindsey Honda quoted me $1141 for part and $220 for labor. Majid is a nice guy, he always answers phone and spend time to discuss issue. So I went ahead with repairs and he charged $420 for Walker catalytic converter which is $350.99 at Advance auto parts prior to 20% off coupon code and $250 for labor which is slightly higher than the Honda dealer and tax of $50.25. So I could have saved $140 if I went and bought part myself instead of going thru him. Also from another mechanic I came to know replacement of catalytic converter is 2 hours of labor at $80 an hour, so $160 is rough estimate. In this case I spent $90 extra for labor. A total loss of $230 on this task. Hope this review would be helpful to plan your repair needs. read more

Best garage in the city! I was changing the plates in a car I just got and the bolts were completely stripped out, I fought and fought with them and I finally drove it across the street to these guys, my neighbors said good things about them but they went above and beyond my expectations several times! Not only did they get the bolts off, they put my new plates on with new bolts then they asked me if there was anything else I said I think the oil needs changed, so he gave me a price ($30) then asked me if I had my own oil I said yeah, at home right across the street I had a 5 quart jug, he told me to go grab it so he used my oil, then they did a diagnostic test to see why my check engine light was coming on, come to find out it's because the car didn't have a gas cap, so he checked to see if he had one that fit and he did so he put it on. Then I told him my A/C didn't work either so he tested it for leaks, turned out the compressor wasn't working, so he gave me a very reasonable quote on fixing that. After all was said and done, all these guys charged me for was the oil change after no less than an hour of them working on my car. If you are looking for very honest, attentive, and hardworking mechanics at an incredibly reasonable price look no further than the guys at Trabue Garage!
