1 Star - Would Not Trust With High-End Garments I had a very disappointing experience with Tracey's Cleaners in Montebello and want to warn others before they trust this business with expensive clothing. When I picked it up, the jacket had significant damage that was not present before cleaning. The bonded seams had ruin and were peeling apart throughout the garment, and the down insulation had become heavily clumped, causing the jacket to lose much of its warmth and functionality. The jacket is now in a condition where it cannot be worn as intended. What was even more frustrating was the response from the owner. Instead of taking responsibility or attempting to work toward a fair resolution, I was told the jacket was "too old." If they believed the garment was too fragile or risky to clean, that should have been disclosed before any work was performed. She even inspected the jacket prior and claim, Whats worse she sends it to 3rd party to do the work and says there are the best. She will play games with you. Went back there 5 times waiting for an response and no solution. I understand that accidents can happen, but businesses should communicate honestly, obtain customer approval before proceeding, and stand behind their work when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with your EXPENSIVE OR DElicate items. Because no reasonable resolution was offered, pursuing recovery of my losses through Small Claims Court is the only option. If you own luxury, technical, bonded, or high-value garments, I would strongly recommend exercising caution before bringing them here. read more

Never come to the dry cleaners the owner is rude and overcharged me my stuff still stinks even though I sent it back twice. I've never been so disrespected, picking up my clothes from my dry cleaner and my life and when I asked for a manager, she told me she was the owner and told me I could call the cops if I wanted my stuff so I just paid the extra money. I will never be here again, even though I live across the street and that I never leave bad reviews, but something has to be said about bad service. read more

Long time customer here. Must be a change of ownership.. the woman said it was cash only. She didn't have enough change, so I paid exact. I counted exactly into my daughter's hand. When she was counting- she placed the 20$ bill on the side and leaned over to get hand sanitizer to grip the rest of the bills. She then claimed that the 20$ she set aside was hers and that she wasn't taking anything from me. My daughter and I were so confused. Really, lying and losing a long time customer for 20$? Shame on you and done in front of my daughter. Now I need to find another place- customers beware. read more

I was referred to this place for alterations and I left super happy! So first off I'd like to say thank you to Rosa for working with me along with the seamstress who actually sewed and fixed my dress. They worked really hard to help me out. I brought in a dress that only needed a few inches off (I had already tried it on at home and measured it myself since I also know how to sew) and I only needed 2 inches off and they did just that! However, due to the material of the dress, I ended up needing more removed but Rosa took her time to help me get the right measurements and spent time pinning up areas that needed to be fixed and when the seamstress altered my dress, it fit like a GLOVE and the length was PERFECT! So rule of thumb is just to always make sure to try on your items in front of the person altering them I was SUPER happy with the work, the quality was great, they cleaned my dress as well and everything was absolutely worth every penny that I spent. They were extremely reasonable and worth it. I am planning on bringing in some pants soon as well but the staff here was just so great. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone if you're looking for a good tailor and for dry cleaning! read more

I went to this cleaners because of all the glowing reviews on here thinking this would be the perfect place to take my graduation fit so I can look good for the occasion, boy was I wrong. They left my outfit dirty when I returned and with new creases. I could tell from when I picked it up so I asked if she still needed to iron it and she said that no it was fine as is. What a waste of my money and time. The worst part is my event is this Saturday and I no longer have time to take it somewhere decent that they'll do a good job. It's not worth the money.
