Really great customer service! They have done an amazing job with dry cleaning everything we take in. From thick football jackets, prom dresses and everyday shirts, blouses and pants. We have had several alterations done here as well and ALWAYS great work! The place is so clean and you immediately feel welcomed by the owners. Sometimes the wife is there and she's a beautiful woman inside and out! The gentleman owner is extremely helpful and friendly! It's like visiting family! Wow! I had a major dress emergency at 4 pm on a FRIDAY! My event was Saturday morning at noon. I called Imperial Cleaners, he waited for me till 5:30pm and promised dress would be ready by 10 am. Saturday. He delivered and even called me to make sure I was satisfied with his service. He went above and beyond. I wouldn't even give 1 star but you have too. *****DON'T USE IMPERIAL CLEANERS***** If you care about your clothes. *****OVER PRICED & BAD WORK***** I would never suggest using Imperial Cleaners to anyone. I used their services for 2 pieces I needed to dry clean. First piece was a *****Supreme Undercover Black Trench Coat.***** RUINED!!!!! I brought this coat in to be dry cleaned. Instead of dry cleaning Imperial Cleaners decided to wash the coat. Which created damage to the front & back screen printed graphics along with discoloring to the coat. the second piece was a *****Nike crewneck sweatshirt.***** I brought this sweatshirt in to remove a dirt stain. I didn't wash the sweatshirt because it was brand new and didn't see the need to wash the whole garment. Imperial Cleaners worked on the sweatshirt 2 times and couldn't take out the stain and still was charged $15.66 for a stain smaller than a dime. After I brought the sweatshirt home and hand washed the stain out. Which a few mins the stain came out. I brought the sweatshirt back to Imperial Cleaners to show the manager so I could possibly get a refund. But he had no interest in solving the problem. Anytime a customer goes to any business for any services. If the services can not be met. The worker will state that the requested services can not be complete due to the workers concerns or capabilities. Possibly offering alternate services instead. At this time I would say no thank you and there would have been no damage. I addressed this to the manager and mentioned that I asked for the coat to be dry cleaned not washed. He then replied that the tag stated that the coat had to be washed not dry cleaned. Which is 100% understandable. But this is the problem I asked for it to be dry cleaned. If this was a concern I should have been contacted and told that Imperial Cleaners planned to wash the coat not dry clean. Instead I was still charged $37 for washing the coat. This is also really crazy. No one in Los Angeles charges $37 to wash a coat. At the end he told me that Imperial Cleaners is not responsible for the damage and I can take Imperial Cleaners to small claims court. Instead of trying to work with the customer. Imperial Cleaners doesn't value their customers. The manager needs better training and should take customer service courses. read more

So, I really wanted to like this place because it's a local establishment and I want to support them. But unfortunately I was very dissatisfied with the work done on my garments. I brought in 2 pairs of dress slacks to be re-hemmed. When I brought them in the woman that helped me was very courteous and friendly. The pants had that very nice, clean hem that isn't visible(done by hand I'm sure). When I got them back, the hem is now very noticeable and in some spots the fabric was stretched out and uneven- which is the reason why you don't hem them on a machine. I also asked the lady to have these pressed, which she reassured that they would. As I inspected them once I got home I noticed that the top portion of both slacks were wrinkled. I honestly feel that I spent too much money for the "services" I received. -TIP- inspect your garments before you leave the shop. read more

I found this place on yelp and let me tell you I am beyond happy with the services here I bought a dress to wear for some pictures I will be taking and just my luck as I'm taking off the dress the zipper breaks! I went to so many other tailors/cleaners and they were going to charge me so much to fix it when I came her the lady literally has magic hands! Went there last week for a dress alteration. I had called several different places to see if I can get a last min alter but I wasn't quite lucky until this lady answered at imperial cleaners. She sounded so nice and told me to get there as soon as can so that she can see the dress and hopefully be able to fix it that same day. It was my grandmas 80TH so WE NEEDED IT! For sure. When I got there she measured the dress with another dress I took so she had a better idea and she didn't rush to measure or rush me for anything. She confidently told me that it would be ready and she would give my gf a call when it was. She did mention that it was gonna be a lil pricey and then asked if I was sure I wanted it done. After saying yes, she told me I needed to leave a deposit. I said it was fine and then I went about my day. When my gf got home she seemed really happy and told me that the lady's name is hilda and that she's was really nice and helpful. Imperial cleaners in the city of montebello is terrible. I went in there last month may to drop off some clothes to get altered. The lady asked me if i wanted them cleaned, i said no. She still ended up charging me for cleaning and the alterations. I refuse to pay for something that i didn't want. I argued and argued. I'm livid right now that they won't allow me to get the clothes out. Rude service and ridiculous prices. I'll never go back there again. Terrible people. Stay away from this cleaners. After being told by another seamstress that she couldn't alter my daughter's costume unless I bought the extra fabric myself, I botched my daughter's dance costume the night before her dress rehearsal thinking I can fix it myself...not a good idea! So memorial weekend, I have a major interview on tuesday and I just bought a pair of 50$ slacks that are a great fit but are too damn long! I live in east la but I am always in montebello. So my first though is ok go to slogans off of olympic. Go to that place and no sorry we can't we don't have a tailor. So at this point I'm freaking out since all these other places are closed or no tailor!! Then I come onto yelp and see imperial cleaners and if you are from montebello you know BJ's pizza and brosters chicken so it in the same plaza. I call and I asked if they were open and it was a yes! Then I asked if same day and BINGO ANOTHER YES! So I haul ass and the sweetest lady said no problem that she could do and I even tried on my pants (small curtain section but it was cool did the job) she checked to make sure the slacks were good and said to come back in 2 hrs. So I came back in 2 hrs and for only 10$ my slacks were hemmed and pressed!
