One of my favorite ice cream shops in Northern RI! Trackers had a great selection of ice cream, and they make their own fresh Liege waffles, waffle cones, and waffle bowls. This really sets them apart and brings them above other ice cream places in the area. I visited last night as part of a party of three, and although there was a line, it moved quickly and efficiently. We were waited on by a very polite staff member who took our order and we had our ice cream nearly immediately - almost no wait at all! The quantity served here is great - we all ordered smalls, and they were plenty big enough for us. Loved that I could get two different flavors in a small - Canoli and Cookie Dough were both delicious! Trackers also sells candy, fudge, and their own merchandise in their very cute country store setting. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is great for all ages. They also have a selection of ice cream cakes for special occasions. Pricing is just what you would expect. Parking is plentiful. Can't wait to go back again and again this summer! read more

Moose Trackers Ice Cream & Confections is located in Scituate Village Shopping Center. There is plenty of parking. This was a stop for the 6th Annual Search for the Best Scoop Shop RI with RI Food Fights. I had their Cowabunga Crunch in waffle cone. The Cowabunga Crunch is vanilla ice cream with a caramel swirl, chocolate chips, pecans, and cookie pieces. The ice cream was creamy and the waffle cone was very fresh and sturdy. Most waffle cones would break or have ice cream leaking through it, but this waffle cone was very together. The ice cream in waffle cone was so filling and so worth the calories. Service was good and fast. There are tables inside and outside. Besides ice cream, they also have fudge, candy, apparel, and so much more for sale. There is also a tap water dispenser with little cups. Definitely worth coming back! read more

It was my first time visiting this place and I could not decide what to order and the staff was super helpful and humored my indecisiveness lol I ended up getting peanut butter everything and no regrets! I ordered the kids size and trust me, it was still a pretty good size. Anything else would be a sugar rush. The ice cream was yummy for sure. The inside was pretty cool because it looked like refurbished furniture and had an old back in the day where horses were the main transportation vibe. Pretty cool. Delicious ice cream! I tried the sea salt caramel truffle and strawberry cheesecake. The sea salt caramel truffle was chunks of caramel filled chocolate with a caramel base. The strawberry cheesecake is very creamy, has like a cinnamon swirl for the crust and real strawberries pieces. We ordered a banana split and it is HUGE! Enough for two people for sure. It brings like 6 smaller scoops of ice cream, banana, pineapple, strawberry, caramel, a cherry and whipped cream. The staff was also very friendly. Moose Trackers is a lot of fun. My partner and I came in late on a Thursday evening with two RI Food Fights tickets. For starters, the place is bright & homey, with an old mill/cabin vibe. The aroma of waffle cones really takes over the whole building in the best way possible. The menu is generous, with dozens of flavors with very unique offerings. We settled on Caramel Sea Salt and Dinosaur Crunch. The second is self explanatory, but Dinosaur Crunch is a sweet cream with crunchy candy pieces mixed in. Service was quick and efficient. The whole team on staff was energetic and kind. No complaints there. The ice cream, in a word, is delicious. Churned to perfection, this stuff is creamy, but still holds enough integrity to stand up to the mix-ins. It's smooth, it's packed with flavor, and is totally worth a 30 minute drive. Moose Trackers just opened in the IGA plaza so we had to try it- since we basically live across the street! To start- the interior is BEAUTIFUL. Very clean & everything is brand new & very rustic looking! Loved the style of the interior. Awesome Ice cream flavors! My son got the dinosaur tracks flavor (which was basically a blue dyed vanilla)very kid-friendly and I had the Raspberry Cheesecake. They have a great selection of candy and treats in addition to their ice cream. The homemade fudge looks absolutely incredible. Really good ice cream, a lovely and interesting place with equally nice indoor and outdoor seating, a fair number of flavors (not quite as many as the main Ice Cream Machine in Cumberland, but a lot closer and no wait!), great service, and careful adherence to COVID safety. They offered samples, which was nice, although unnecessary today. I'm thrilled that they'll stay open through the winter! It would be neat if they'd add hot drinks to their menu to please people who don't prefer ice cream when it's cold out(ooh, then they could do affogatos).
