There are antiques through to the back of the store and some great older books back there too so I recommend going back. If you need a special gift, especially a hostess gift, you'll love this cute shop. The inventory is always changing and evolving so go often. They have a great collection of antiques, some newer items, and a couple of interesting sections in the back with old photo albums, vehicle relics, and other unique finds. I was especially happy to see some of the things I'm always looking for, including ,state license plates,collectible baseball cards and die-cast cars, both sealed and loose. Dear Hubby and I agreed later that it felt like a shop you'd expect in places like Carmel or Santa Barbara. Their offerings seem to be on the formal side, for the most part. They carry some beautiful vintage jewelry, along with furniture and unique accessories. Appears to be under new ownership…read more People there are nice enough, however, they over value and over price their merchandise. One person there is keen on adding some crazy build up on an item to justify the over pricing or will claim how they easily sell others like it for even more outside the store at swap meets, online or whatever. I feel the place can have a great potential to be more successful if they stop trying to get rich off of single sales, price products at least within reasonable industry standards for a given item and also realize that Ventura is too small a town to get away with cheap fast talk to get people to over pay before people catch on and a business' reputation is tarnished.

I really enjoyed my experience looking through this store (they have a LOT of stuff) but, it was a Sunday and I was racing the sunset...
