My vehicle was there for over 4 months with very poor communication from shop manager and owner. I…read morewas told several times it was almost ready or it would be ready on a certain day only to hear nothing back on said day. Finally got the truck back only for it to break down not even an hour later. We had to call to get it towed back to the shop. The mechanic admittedly didn't tighten the distributor cap, which lead to the timing being messed up. Also, the fuel line was installed twisted and wouldn't allow gas to flow properly. These things were fixed after 2 weeks of the truck sitting at the shop. We've had the truck back about 2 weeks and now the fuel pump went out. The new fuel pump that they just installed!!!! The manager also admitted to one of his mechanics burning up the first distributor, this was his excuse for it taking so long in the first place. $4,000 later and the truck is not running. I would not recommend this place at all!!

I have gone to this shop twice in the last few years…read more The first time was around early 2006 and I brought a 1995 Toyota 4Runner for repair due to an engine oil leak. They did a really good job fixing it in two days and the price was very reasonable. I brought a 2005 Mazda 3 to them about 2 months ago (March 2010). The AC had stopped working on the car. I went to to them one weekday morning and asked them to diagnose the problem. I told them that I had limited time that day. I could not leave the car to them, but would bring it back for repair if needed. I was under the impression that the compressor needed to be replaced based on my research over the internet. They actually started to work on my car almost immediately. A little while later they told me that there was a leak somewhere in the AC system. The freon was completely gone, so the compressor stopped working. They had refilled the freon and it restarted again. They also added some dye into the freon, so they can identify the leak later. In the mean time, since the AC was working fine, the leak maybe very small and just needed to refill freon periodically instead of repair or replace the compressor. I left the place after about 1 hour and 20 minutes. My AC was working fine. I later found out the price they charged me was slightly below the market rate for similar services. The AC is still running strong today. I believe that this is an honest and fair shop that does a good job at taking care of cars. Highly recommended!!

I've only been here twice, but my read on these guys is: 1) they are old school grease monkeys 2) they do what needs to be done on your car and they don't try to sell you other repairs you don't need 3) reasonably priced 4) the shop is not "pristine" like some other shops, but this is an appearance thing only. They're also fair on the price comparing with other auto shops. I took my car here to fix my a/c and they fixed it just by adding freon pretty much (not sure why I didn't do that myself). And thankfully they didn't charge me anything, not even for the freon. They said that if there may be a small leak, and if the a/c stops working in a month, then I should bring it back and they'll inspect and fix it. Make sure you have their number so you can call them to check on the car as they forgot to call me one time.
