They also have a freezer section with local meat and eggs, if you are looking to purchase locally grown foods. There is a surprising amount of usable/collectible vintage and ceramic items as well, like cast iron skillets, fermentation crocks, butter churns, and linens. The owners are super friendly and willing to help with any questions. By purchasing items here instead of Tractor Supply, Lowe's, etc, you are helping to support a local business, so keep that in mind if prices are slightly higher than a chain store. The team is always very enthusiastic about visiting pets. I'm often worried about them weighing my dog on the way out due to all of the unauthorized, ahem, sampling, that she does while visiting. Because the shop is smaller, and little pup is somewhat selective about canine encounters, we generally visit on weekdays when I have free time. We are usually 1 of 1 or 2 pets in the store and she has a great time. Note that the sampling station, I mean self serve treat display, is right inside the front door giving your pet ample opportunity to snack while your eyes adjust and you check for overly friendly animals in the vicinity.
