I recently stopped shopping here…read more My vacation was disrupted for over an hour overlapping two days over the need to cancel / reschedule an appointment that was to occur over my vacation time... an appointment that I had canceled / rescheduled before leaving town but had not been fully addressed by Mutts & Co Grooming. I was told that even though I had grooming appointments booked for the remainder of the year that my July appointment could not be booked because I did not have a method of payment stored within their new online booking portal. Storing a form of payment on an online booking portal is not something I would ever do and did not appreciate the effort that Mutts & Co put into trying to convince me otherwise during my vacation. I was away for five days. I was interrupted during two days of my vacation over this matter. The unfortunate part of this story is that Savanah is amazing at grooming my fur babies; however, I will not place a method of payment within their online portal. I now need to make alternative arrangements for grooming which is not at all appreciated. Life is busy enough without arbitrary and unplanned side quests. Mutts & Co does offer a variety of healthy products for cats and dogs. They are good about assisting you to the car with large orders or even assisting with curbside pick up. However, all of the products that they carry can be gotten through online retailers. My only other complaint is that they continually store the shopping carts on one side of the store and shopping baskets on the other side of the store. Their shopping carts require the use of a shopping basket too as items fall through the shopping cart when used alone. Disabled persons have a hard time traveling to each side of the store to collect a shopping basket and shopping cart. I would point this out each time and would return to the same set up the next trip.

We keep our poodle "doodle-y" looking and don't like it when he gets a true poodle cut (iykyk), and the groomers always do an incredible job listening to what we want. Our pup looks adorable after every appointment! I reviewed boarding before in a previous review, but as always, the staff is welcoming, attentive, and treats our dogs like their own. When we pick them up, they are happy, healthy, and tired in the best way possible. Highly recommend PetSmart for anyone looking for trustworthy grooming and boarding services. The staff truly goes above and beyond for our fur babies! Tip: if your dogs have never been boarded there, try the "day camp"first! That's where they play when boarded, too.

Went to this PetSmart a few months ago, and found a female betta that was missing an eye…read more Thankfully it looks more like a birth defect and not an injury. After showing a staff member I'm pretty sure she had no idea about this specific fish and its deformity. And after we proceeded to the checkout counter she told us we could instead adopt it (take it for free) despite the fish being displayed at full price previously. Firstly I want to thank the worker because her offer showed that she cared for the needs of disabled animals. But secondly I wish the workers had more care for their animals, like atleast knowing they exist instead of just marking them at whatever price they're told, sitting them on the shelf and never giving a second glance. Lisa (the one eyed betta) is alive and well. I put a photo of her today

We purchased our first cockatiel from this PetSmart one year ago, and she is still healthy and…read moredoing very well in our care. We currently have two healthy cockatiels at home and take caring for our birds very seriously. Recently, we purchased a budgie from this location. Sadly, the bird became sick and died only 13 days after we brought it home. This was heartbreaking, especially for my wife, who had already become attached to the bird. We informed PetSmart about what happened and received a replacement budgie according to the store's policy. Unfortunately, we soon became concerned that the replacement bird was not healthy either. After losing the first bird, we did not want to wait until something worse happened, so we responsibly returned the second budgie while it was still alive. When we later tried to purchase another budgie, the store manager refused to sell one to us. What bothered us most wasn't simply the refusal. It was the way the situation was handled and the implication that we were somehow not responsible bird owners because we had reported the first bird's illness and returned the replacement bird. I repeatedly asked the manager to explain the specific reason for refusing the sale, but she would not give us a clear reason or put the reason in writing. I directly asked whether we were banned from purchasing birds from PetSmart. She said no and instead told us, "We just don't want to sell the bird to you today." We even offered not to return the new bird because we wanted to make clear that we were not trying to abuse the return policy. The answer was still no. I absolutely support PetSmart refusing an animal sale when there is a legitimate concern about an animal's welfare. But if management believes a customer is incapable of properly caring for an animal, they should be willing to explain what that concern is. Instead, we walked away feeling as though we had been blamed for what happened without anyone explaining what we supposedly did wrong. That was particularly hurtful because our first cockatiel came from this exact same store one year ago and remains healthy in our care, along with our second cockatiel. My wife was already extremely upset after losing the first budgie. Having our ability to care for birds implicitly questioned afterward made the experience considerably worse. I hope PetSmart management reviews not only how this situation was handled, but also the health history of the birds being sold at this location. We are not claiming to know what caused either bird's health problems. We simply expected our concerns to be taken seriously and to be treated respectfully rather than made to feel like irresponsible pet owners without being given a clear explanation.
