I was looking for a few things one of the last times I was at Meijer and the staff were not helpful which made me angry. I tried asking one guy for help as he was talking to people he knew and I said excuse me sir several times. The people he was talking to even looked at me and he never turned around. I found another worker and asked him and gave me one of those half answers and didn't even attempt to try looking further. I realized that Meijer is pointless. Their point system also sucks. It doesn't benefit us at all so I stopped using my number. I will stop going into Meijer altogether because I'm fed up with this store. I was lucky to find those two workers on the floor because I hardly see them when I need assistance. The older heavy set lady at the self checkout always has an attitude. I put my hand basket on the floor until I got my bag of things situated and then I was going to put it back and she snatched it up and rolled her eyes as I walked out and complained to the guy at the front. I started going to Ralph's. Well, Kroger because I use Ralph's in California and Kroger and Ralph's are the same because Ralph's is part of Kroger Co. The point system makes sense and I can easily clip and save from my app. Plus the staff are more helpful. One person at Meijer was helpful and that was a nice lady who helped me find a particular hair care product. She approached me and asked if she could help. The lady who helped me in the haircare isle is the reason for the extra star. Otherwise it would have been 1 star.

The biggest dollar tree in the area. Has a bevvy of seasonal decor, cards, toys, kitchen stuff, DIY…read moreitems, food, candy, and party items. The layout was nice, employees are helpful, the store is clean and laid out nicely. If you're going to buy seasonal items, candy or party goods, it's the go to place for that. Yes, they have some cheap junk, but the Burton store has more items in comparison to most Dollar Tree stores. I found all of the stuff I needed and was done within 15 minutes. Easy shopping.

It's really unfortunate to see the decline of the Meijer bakery in Burton. They no longer bake…read moretheir goods in-house, and the difference in quality is impossible to ignore. Everything now has that distinct taste of over-processed food, lacking the fresh, authentic flavor they used to have. It's definitely no longer the same as it once was, and frankly, it's very disappointing.

From grocery to home goods, they have large selections! Huge store and fun for shopping!read more
