Disgusting experience last week. I wrote their corporate office but never received a reply. I was lifting up a bag of sweet feed from the top of a 3.5 / 4 foot stack and felt something very wet underneath the sack. It turned out to be urine. Now unless it was a very talented large dog with hands, I am pretty sure it was human. An older male employee asked if he could help and I told him the problem. He kind of smiled and said he could smell it too. He ended up getting me a sack from the other side but did nothing about the one with urine. After I went and thoroughly washed my hands and arms, I came back and the sack was still there. I had to tell the young female cashier and she contacted the back. I stopped shopping with the Hutto location for a long time due to terrible service. I've recently been back in and it feels like a completely different experience. Ms. Julie at the front register is the most friendly cashier I've met in a long time. We have not experienced her level of customer service in a very long time. Her personality lights up the store. Had to wait for a while on propane, but otherwise an excellent experience and will be coming back. read more

I did an online purchase of corral panels and spent time finding ones that were same day delivery eligible that would work. Placed the order at 11AM. 6PM came and status shows "Ready for delivery" and have heard nothing. Tried clicking on the Tracking link, but all items show an empty link. Called the store and after wading through people that don't know anything, a lady answered and said that none of the "roadies" that checked on the order can haul 10' panels. I asked her why the site shows "same day delivery" eligible. She had no answer. This order was over $1,000. I'd expect they'd try a little harder. I think I'll take my $$ somewhere else. Reason for 4 stars is given because 2 cashiers couldn't figure out that their 3 for $20 (women's) t-shirts on their displayed table means just that and not ring up as $24 (+ tax), expecting me to settle on that. (less than 3 costs more). After them discussing it, one cashier manually did her math to honor me $20 ttl + tax. This makes me wonder of other's making the same 3 for $20 purchase that end up paying the rung up ttl of $24 + tax. read more

Typically I love this tractor supply. More so because of how amazing the staff is. However, today changed my entire view of them. While I was in line a very hostile costumer cut me and when I told him where the back of the line was he did not like that a young lady was telling him where to go. He was aggressive while I was standing up for myself and was assertive with him. He then continued to shove his wallet and keys in my face, then proceeded to call me a bitch. All of this happened right in front of the cashier, Candace. Now I understand it is not her responsibility to stop it, but the situation could easily escalate with his temper. I called to check stock for curbside pick up. Spoke yo manager, she was awesome. She looked up items from my SKU number and told me what's in stock! It was great. She walked to isle and check what was in stock for my horse. Love the customer service. This is my first app order. I go into this store all the time. Got my round pen panels here. Never will go back in there ever again and in will tell everyone in all my circles. Trying to get a chain saw chain. Couldn't tell what chain what chain was. The guy was a total idiot. Guess what I got the wrong chain and drove 30 miles to find that out. Rude service at the cash register. They wouldn't do my tax exemption and had it in my hand. I repeated my name a number of times. Then the girl threw a fix and I had to write it down. She rang my stuff and I realized hey she charged me taxes. I walked in side and the Assistant manager wouldn't do anything about it. I was so excited to see this location so near my house. Alas, I've been disappointed every time I go in. I've tried checking the website before I go in and calling before I go in to see if what I need is in stock. It doesn't work. They say they have it and when I get there, they don't. Nor do they give me alternative options. With Elgin General Store only a couple of miles away my incentive to return to TS is zero--which matches their customer service exactly. read more
