They had an appointment today but they were short a groomer and asked if I could reschedule so I called to see if Petco could fit them in. They said yes and I took them in at 1:15. When I take them into PetSmart they typically get all 4 in and out in 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours. I didn't walk out of Petco with my Yorkies until 6:22. Over 5 hours. To make things a million times worse, the manager was RUDE and when I finally got them and they handed me my bill, I almost PASSED OUT. For 4 full grooms at PetSmart they charge me around $240.00 depending on what package I get and keep in mind, that's for 4 FULL GROOMS. Today, only two of my Yorkies needed a full groom. The other two only needed a bath and nail trim. The total with the same customary 20% tip? $380.00!!!!!! How on EARTH can they justify charging that much for two grooms and two baths??? I will NEVER set foot in that place again. Who can AFFORD that??? They just lost a customer for LIFE.

On Monday afternoon, I made the owner, Jen, aware of a situation with that same groomer. The groomer allowed her political beliefs (because she disagrees with mine), to influence her actions or lack there of, with one of my dogs, who was diagnosed with fatal cancer, over a month ago. I was informed by Jen, this morning, that she would NOT reprimand or take ANY other action against the groomer, who did this because she did not want to get involved "in disagreements outside of the workplace", (all in writing, btw). This was far more than a "disagreement outside of the work place". The actions taken by the groomer (her employee), were most certainly done IN her place of business and were continued for over a month and through Saturday of last week, the last time I had my dogs groomed. ALL verifiable facts. As a business owner of over 25 years, if I allowed ANY, of my employees to treat ANY of my clientele this way, without ANY repercussions, I wouldn't have any clientele left. Therefore, I will NEVER recommend Fur Ever Friends, to anyone else due to this kind of behavior, that Jen has stated in writing, that she condones without remedy. John E.

Decided to try Dirty Dog Groomers and sooo glad I did. They went over everything with me and took a copy of his rabies info. Such a perfect location, staff and ambience. We use the self wash for our small pet pig and our toy poodle goes to Zara (not sure how to spell her name) to get groomed. She does a beautiful job on our poodle. The inside is very big and has lots of room to walk around (with your pup too! Pets welcome as the sign says). So you can roam and frolic without having to worry about trashing the place with your pet. There were lots of neat little treats inside as well and they even had a big freezer of VERY fairly priced pup ice creams! Like $1.04 for a smaller cup? Not a bad little treat for your pet AND you're supporting local. The lady working there (perhaps the owner?) was incredibly nice and welcoming when we went to pick up the cake. She had her own pup there who started to bark when we came in and spooked my dog but she quickly took hers outside which I appreciated. Was just a very nice experience and the cake is pretty awesome!
