We make a point of coming here and seeing if there is anything either of us needs/wants. I have fun these days with trying to help her find presents for family members. Typically, presents and gifts we go to the electronic section for, though not always, as the prices tend to be a better deal than other in-person and online retailers. When I was younger we occasionally enjoyed stops at the food court. Shopping could be a half day experience when we were really into it.

Since I stayed in a nice hotel with a fantastic view of the water and never saw a sunset- just shades of gray to black, I can completely concur that I experienced this Rain Festival. Besides my souvenir shopping, they essentially have a mall crammed into one building. Electronics, clothing, purses, fragrances, home goods, pet supplies and more! There is even a cafe. This was my 4th NEX (I think) that I have been to and I think it was the nicest.

The flatbread was nice and crispy with a good flavor for something pre-made and just needed to be heated. But the highlight of my visit was the Autumn Heat tea. The "Heat" refers to the spice level (one of the ingredients is Hot Honey), you can choose for it to be served hot or cold. I chose to have it served hot. I really enjoy spicy food and drinks. This tea was very spicy! If you enjoy spicy foods you should give this one a try. Otherwise, I recommend you pass on this one! As normal, the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable about what they sell, and polite. Always a pleasure to shop at The Book Rack.

They had cartons of passion fruit puree that were delicious. I wish there was a way to get those back, but that isn't the nature of the store. My caution is that they sometimes will not honor their posted prices and you have to check your receipt diligently to make sure you aren't charged incorrectly. For example I purchased cauliflower tots that were labeled as 0.99. They rang up at 1.99. I pointed out the discrepancy. They checked the shelf and confirmed the shelf said .99 but because the inventory said it was supposed to by 1.99 they wouldn't honor the posted price. This wasn't the first time. Overall I like the staff much better now and they have some deals but I don't appreciate the pricing issues.

From books to clothing to toys to craft supplies (just to name a few) they likely have it here! The displays were very well organized and it was easy to find things, although there didn't seem to be a lot in any particular category. It was still fun to look around and see what they had. I was most interested in any fabric or craft supplies. There wasn't anything I couldn't live without, though I was definitely tempted by a gigantic knitting needle. While I hunted for crafts, the dude pored through their book section. And while we left without buying anything, I could definitely see adding this to our thrifting rotation when we're in the area.

Two cards for $1 pre-tax added to the joy of our finds. There were a variety of other offerings including green apple-flavored licorice, Sour Patch Kids freezer pops (like Otter pops), and pool flotation noodles. I was impressed with the wide array of offerings. The portions offered for $1.25 are also not too much either. The Sour Patch Kids freezer pops are hardening in the freezer as I write this review. The store was not grimy and for the most part was tidy. The workers were helpful and maintained upbeat temperaments even when the check-out line got a little long.
