i read a review by someone who'd commented that they'd arrived in anacortes without enough pet food and was pleasantly surprised by this place. i wholeheartedly concur! there practically everything you could ask for under one roof, and for a variety of types of animals. raw food brands, dry kibble, canned, toys, treats, you name it! the staff members i chatted with were very friendly and i'll definitely be back! i'll also make it a point to let everyone i know about this place so that they get the business instead of big box pet stores in burlington. read more

When we realized we hadn't brought enough cat food on our trip to Anacortes, I wasn't sure what might happen. We'd just gotten our two kittens transitioned to that food, and it wasn't a walk in the park, and I was nervous that we wouldn't be able to find the same kind and we would have to switch them again without any mixing! I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked into this shop and saw so many lovely quality options. And, of course, being greeted up front by Jack, the giant fluffy cat, did not hurt! We walked over and found the exact food we'd been feeding our cats, so no transition would be necessary, and had some nice conversation with the shop keeper. I found it enchanting that they've got a live feed going on a large screen behind the counter of a shelter, and you can watch the moms and litters of tiny kittens together. Grateful! read more

This is one of those rare businesses that actually CARE about their products, their customers AND quality. I'm a victim of chain stores and let's face it, most of us would pick a chain store over a mom and pop store simply because we know what to expect from said stores. I came by here simply because I didn't want to drive the 30 minutes to Petsmart. I decided to just see what this store had. Not only did they have a great selection of dog food, the staff there was able to recommend a dog food that would help my dog's digestive problems. Best thing I ever did. Been here 3 times and love it. No more Petsmart for me if I can help it! Thanks for being a genuine business that knows how to welcome people. read more

Good place! I'm traveling all over, I needed more dog food (my dog's food isn't found at most pet stores, usually only independent farm chains like these) and I was promptly greeted and helped. Good prices, was cheaper than what I get at home. Convenient as I just returned from Vancouver Island. Friendly employees. They seem to carry healthly goods (no fillers, good meats). read more

This place is fantastic. They have all the good brands for pet food including raw. They have wonderful chews and treats and a whole load of really good stuff for the pups. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They know their stuff. Don't have what you need? No problem, they will order it up for you. I thought I was going into an ordinary pet store but how wrong I was! I asked the manager Rebecca about products they carried for my cat's skin condition. She was extremely knowledgeable about everything in her store. She helped me select the best food and knew why the food would be good. . I went back on a different day and another person helped me and she was awesome too. I couldn't find a product so she walked me to the right aisle and patiently helped me choose the item that would be best for my dog. This place has Petsmart beat! read more

Quality products and excellent service. I love the local, friendly staff that remember my puppies every time I come in. I received so much help in figuring out what types of food and treats are good for the types of dogs I have. This is the only place I shop now. Many of the products are the same price as Amazon and you're supporting local! Doesn't get better than that.
