I was in town checking on my grandmother in Mobile and visiting family in Daphne. While spending time with her, she mentioned wanting to get her fish tank set back up. I decided it would be the perfect Valentine's surprise to bring her aquarium back to life. I stopped into the Daphne location just to "look around," and that's when I was greeted by Heath -- "like the Heath bar," as he joked. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. He told me he owns four tanks himself and absolutely loves aquariums. And it showed. I have never owned a fish tank in my life. Heath patiently educated me on everything -- which fish were compatible, what setup would work best, what to avoid, and how to make sure my grandmother's tank would thrive. He even said, "I hope your grandmother likes my selection," which was such a thoughtful touch. After surprising my grandmother (she cried, by the way ), we realized her old tank equipment wasn't working -- the filter and light were both out, which probably explained why it hadn't been running. I initially tried going to a Petco location off I-10 in Mobile to grab what we needed, and unfortunately, it was a completely opposite experience. I waited nearly 20 minutes after asking twice for assistance. It was frustrating and disappointing. That's when I said, "You know what? Let me just call Heath." And I am SO glad I did. Even though the Daphne store was about 20 minutes away, it was 100% worth the drive -- and I would make that drive again and again. Heath immediately told me it would be smarter to purchase a full kit instead of piecing parts together because it would save money in the long run. When I arrived, not only did they have great sales (50% off some items and 20% off others), but Heath had everything already pulled and ready for me. A wonderful young lady greeted me when I came in (I hate that I can't remember her name, but she was fantastic). Heath came out from the back, smiling, and said, "I've got it ready for you." I remembered one more item I needed, and without hesitation, they helped me with that too. The entire team made me feel comfortable, supported, and confident in what I was purchasing. Today, my grandmother has a beautiful, fully functioning aquarium again -- and she is so happy. And I'm happy because I didn't have to overthink a single thing. That's what exceptional service does. We only buy Lupine collars because of their lifetime guarantee - even if she chews it. The place is absolutely adorable! It's in the lower level of this two story blue duplex in downtown Fairhope. Walking in, we saw a decent selection of collars and leads. They carried Lupine as well as several other brands. The lady working was very kind and helped us choose a martingale collar that would fit her, and of course, she had to have a matching lead. The collars and leads were priced average for the brands - actually less expensive than some of the collars at chain pet stores (without lifetime guarantees). On the other side of the shop they had several washing stations, and even a drying station. I didn't push my luck with the whole "Jasmine, let's take a bath" thing since she was behaving at the moment, but the tubs were nice and roomy and had sprayers with long cords. It looked like a great place to bathe a dog. They provide the shampoo for the baths as well. The dryer costs a little extra, but I believe it was only a few dollars more. She is very playful and eating well. We took her to the vet to get her scheduled vaccines. The vet said she was healthy and she didn't see anything to worry about. This review is in regards to the pharmacy. Sadly, the pharmacy within Walmart might be the one area…read moreof operation that I would expect professionalism to be 1000% on point without mistake. Every time a mistake in this part of the business cost someone their life potentially. My prescription for 60 pills was filled at this Walmart pharmacy. Only 50 were dispensed upon checking when I got home. Called and spoke with the pharmacy manager, Jamie who advised after checking their inventory levels. They had an extra 10 and Jamie advised me to cord "come on in and get my extra 10 pills. This didn't sit well with me because Walmart at this point had committed insurance fraud, and did not fill my prescription correctly . had I walked out of their establishment only paying for 80% of my groceries. I suspect the loss prevention team might have engaged me for reconciliation of those funds or perhaps more. Thanks to Walmart I will now count every single bottle of every single prescription medication. I am dispensed. I have an advanced understanding of how pharmacies work, and all I can say is that there are no explanations for this happening other than to boost profitability by withholding medication that was not dispensed to a patient while charging their insurance a.k.a. insurance fraud . Do not trust Walmart with your prescription medication's after speaking with the pharmacy manager, and a district associate above him I have come to terms with the fact that this is business as usual, and this did not phase them one bit.
