It was very tight and cluttered. It made me feel claustrophobic. It was hard to breathe and see, all of my sense were being used for all the wrong reasons. She starts off by telling you how good you would look in a piece and then once she says the price your face turns cold. She makes you think you're getting it for a good deal, you're not. The "dressing rooms" were just toilet stalls and they were not clean. Again, it was a very tight space and very overwhelming. She keeps giving you piles of clothes to try on, none of which is actually your style, but she keeps giving them anyways. She offered my friend, who is black, an African style muumuu and told her it was EXACTLY her style. Mind you, my friend is very grungy and isn't necessarily into that style whatsoever. It felt like a micro aggression and was very weird in our opinion. She also told my friend that I looked like I couldn't afford a designer dress, classist. At the end of the day, after trying basically everything in the store on, I decided to purchase a single garment, a shirt supposedly from the 90s. I tell her I want the shirt and that we didnt want to buy anything else and she starts lecturing us about how she has better things to do than put up with our mockery, we never mocked her. She thought the fact that we are giggly teenage girls meant we were bullying her in the stall, that obviously wasnt the case. She then says to me "Are you gonna buy the shirt or what" to which I say yes. We were very confused by all the hostility all of a sudden. We went to check out and she went on another tangent about how she has better things to do and we shouldnt waste her time trying things on, taking pictures, and making fun of this place. We didnt do anything of the sort. She was extremely rude, hostile, and pushy. I hated my experience here and will never be showing up again in the future.

The Auburn one has gone down hill over the years. For those in Maine, all the poles in the parking lot in Farmington are untouched and unharmed by the vehicles (ha ha ha). He arrived to the appointment to be told by a very rude employee out smoking a cigarette in the garage area that they don't make appointments at 7 am. They left him standing in the garage area and disappeared inside without a word. After a few minutes he followed them in and asked to speak to a supervisor. They did find his name written down but the wrong tires were ordered. No supervisor ever showed up. The employees were rude and not helpful. He then insisted that they ordered the right tires and he left. He ended up down the road at VIP who took care of him right away. We still have not received any call from Walmart about the tires. We will never go back and use that auto service center.

Even the support staff at Straight talk was clueless as to why I couldn't switch over my old phone number. Both "Grant G" in the Farmington Walmart and "Justin B" in the Augusta Walmart helped me figure out how to get my phone working. Twice Sold Tales has to be one of the most amazing bookstores in the world. As the name implies,…read morethey sell used books (and a few new ones, too), which line shelf after shelf after shelf of this quaint, cozy, and shockingly well-stocked space. There are fun (and beautiful) arm chairs, benches and other sitting arrangements throughout the store, which invite you to browse and browse to your heart's content. Books are well organized + ridiculously well priced. The owner (originally from near Boston) is dog friendly, people friendly, very well read, and absolutely wonderful in every way! I believe they host a wine bar in the evenings (based on a quick glance at a sign on the way in), but call to double check details. If I lived anywhere close to here, I'd be by all the time. I'd want to be best friends with the owner, drink wine and read for hours, with my dog by my side. Truly a wondrous place!
