I love this place. They are very caring and it's easy to get an appointment or being seen as a walk in. Of course the wait is long when you come in as a walk in so don't be surprised about that. I had a great experience at Tracy Urgent Care. I had a thorn lodged deep in my thumb for two weeks and it got infected from my repeated attempts to remove it myself. Dr Grewal removed it quickly and painlessly and gave me a prescription for the necessary antibiotics to clear up the infection. The price was very reasonable. Next time I have something I need medical attention for I won't hesitate to go in right away. read more

Wonderful office! The front desk girls were super sweet and back office as well. The manager with curly hair is always helpful! First time going to Tracy Urgent Care, went in for a tb skin test. Process was quick, about 20 minutes .......V. was awesome

A great experience! Ofelia at the front desk was super helpful, prompt, and professional. I had to take a couple different TB skin tests here and she was able to help me out with figuring how to go about scheduling the tests. Liz was the nurse who helped me with the test. I'm nervous with needles, but she made the procedure very stress free. She was able to get me in an out before the fear even kicked in. Definitely ask for her if possible! read more

Last night I had an emergency, I had my mother come visit from out of the country and it so happened that last night was the day of her return and had a flight back at 11pm. She suffer very high blood pressure right before we left for the airport and I called Tracy Urgent Care almost the time they were about to close. I explained my situation and that I wouldn't make it in time, I spoke to Ofelia. She was very understanding and actually told me they would wait for me. This was the nicest thing I heard after all the panicking I was going through. I got there and for sure the doors were open and I saw two friendly faces of Ofelia and Liz smiling at us and willing to do all there was to do to make me and my mom comfortable while we checked in. Their concern and care for my mother was exemplary. Liz took my mother's vitals and let us to see the doctor. We met Dr. Usman Ali. He walked with a smile, he was very friendly and even while he was asking medical questions to determine what was going on, he was also able to make it comfortable for us by joking and making us laugh. We got out if there with the prescription and we were on our way!!. Ofelia and Liz are great ladies that are so welcoming and Dr.Usman Ali is great!! I highly recommend them and Tracy Urgent Care!! The staff at the front desk was very friendly and supportive. Also knowledgeable in terms of insurance and claims. Me being new to the US medical insurance system, the way i was guided is remarkable. Also they were good enough to understand my problem and connect to the right doctor. Dr Siddharth took his time and listened to my problem carefully. Did a through checkup and gave me appropriate medicine. I am putting this review 4 days after my visit and on seeing better result on me. I went to Tracy Urgent Care because I was involved in a car accident on Tuesday Night. I went in on Friday Morning because my pain got worse and was told that I might have a concussion. I went in right at 9am. No other patience were there and I did't get seen until 9:45 by a Dr Grewal. He came in, didn't introduce himself and looked like he just rolled out of bed. He asked what was I in there for and I informed him of my accident and told him of my symptoms. He held his finger up and said "One Moment" as he walked out of the room to answer his phone. WOW! He came back in, move his finger side to side and told me to watch it without moving my head, and then had me touch his finger. I then handed him a disc with the X-Rays of my neck and he handed it back and said he didn't need it. Told me that I had mild concussion and that the swelling would eventually go down. I asked him about the pain and swelling and he gave me a prescription for pain and an anti-inflammatory. I go home completely upset and I waited until Monday morning to call and talked to Yvonne, the office manager. She said she would follow up and call me right back. I waited until Tuesday afternoon and receptionist states that she was out of the office and took a message and said she would call back the next morning. I call back at Noon on Wednesday, and apologized and told me the Doctor would see me again for no charge. I told her that I didn't want to see him again and wanted a refund. She said she would contact billing and then call me back later in the day. I called the billing department and was notified that Yvonne hasn't contacted her yet. Here it is Friday and I still haven't heard back from her. Basically. I was treated disrespectfully by both the Doctor and the office manager. Will I go back? NEVER! Would I recommend? I called in to Tracy Urgent Care on Friday July 30th to set an appointment because I had been dealing with a really bad cough all week and needed some antibiotics and cough syrup. I already knew what I had (Bronchitis). So In any event I had been here about two or three times before and they have all my medical information on file. So I leave work and go for my appointment and when I tell them I have a 4:30 appointment that have me sign in but I hear whispering about someone being gone for the day. I am thinking they were talking about the Dr. I was scheduled to see. I just brushed it off and sat in the lobby to wait to be called up to see the Dr. Forty-Five minutes go by and finally the Indian lady behind the desk calls me up and tells me she cant get my medical card authorized. She says it's being rejected and basically I'm not covered. I know it's a crock but my member services and any other number I can use is closed for the day because they are located on the East coast. The lady is very rude and unprofessional and if she would have followed standard procedure they would have seen me sent the claim in to my insurance carrier and tried to collect payment that way or billed me for it. This rude lady tells me I have to pay ninety dollars, three times the normal co pay if I want to be seen!!! In any event I left and dealt with the cough all weekend and it was BAD! So Monday morning comes and at 6 am I call my insurance carrier and they tell me that everything is fine and they sound pretty pissed off at the scenario I described to them. So because I need to get this damn medication I call and make another appointment and when I get there this time, I walk up and sign in at the front counter and pull out my medical card and I.D. and I'm standing there staring at these 4 women, The Indian lady from Friday, 2 white ladies and some mixed lady. All four of them are carrying on conversations or whatever and not one of them bothers to say good morning or hello or can i help you or anything for 3 damn minutes! When one of them does speak its the little stubby mixed lady and she says "can you sign in?" I tell her I signed in 3 minutes ago, and she says oh okay, and starts typing some crap into her computer. To make a long story short, a Latino guy walks in and he gets the same treatment, no one says so much as hello to him. About 5 minutes later a white man walks in and before he is even at the counter you hear good morning sir, welcome to Tracy Urgent Care. How can I help you!? I wanted to flip but again. I was in need of my medication so I swallowed my pride and dealt with it. My doctor was fine, a nice little old man he checked me out and actually gave me a refill for my prescription in case the bronchitis comes back so I dont have to come in, I can just call it in to the pharmacy and avoid the 30 dollar co-pay. In closing this facility is in desperate need of people that understand customer service, and do not treat you differently and so openly blatantly disrespectful because of race. They also need to schedule appointments that coincide with doctor schedules, as I believe that is the reason for Fridays mishap! Oh not to mention Monday after I called and set the appointment they did not have record of my appointment when i came in... Unfortunately they have lost me and my family as patients. I like the little Dr. that i saw, but the remainder of the staff there is inexcusably rude. read more

Only come here if you do not care about your health. Front desk is very rude as stated by other reviewers. I went in because I was too sick to drive to my real doctor at Palo Alto medical foundation in Dublin. I went here and explain to the doctor that I might have bronchitis because I have had it before and symptoms are identical. He got offended and said do not try to self diagnose yourself. He then prescribed me something and sent me on my way. I stayed on those meds for two weeks and my sickness was getting worse. I finally went my own doctor and he looked at the medication prescribed to me and said that this does not have anything to do with your sickness. You have bronchitis. He prescribed me new medicine and I started feeling better within a few days. Worst practicing doctors I have ever encountered. read more

This place Must be informed about the meaning of customer care!!! Not only do you wait for hours but the front office staff has NO personality, they look at you as if you are bothering them! Lets face it you are going to Urgent care for two reasons, 1 you don't feel good and 2 you want to get in and get out so that you can get home and rest. These people make you feel worse by the way they treat you, and by the amount of time you have to wait. Horrible Experience! I read all the reviews but figured "it can't be that bad, right!?!" I come in, the receptionist says sign the list and we'll call you. I wait for an hour and a half and notice that people that signed after me are getting called... I go up and ask why I hadn't been called. She says oh, where were you sitting??? 5 feet away... Oh, ok sir. Do you have your paperwork filled out? No, I was never given any paperwork!?! She replies oh, you should have. Here ya go. I filled out paperwork, 2 other people go in. I go back up and ask for an update. She says that they're having problems validating my insurance, how long have I been with them? 5 years. I asked, can you call the # on the back of the card. Everything should be AOK!?! She says no, that's the last thing we do.... 2 more people get called. 2 hrs and 30m in... Called up to desk. Validated insurance!?! What was the problem while 4 people have got seen? No answer. Now sitting 20m and no call. 3 hours, 15m and counting. Avoid this place people, trust me. Worst service I have even dealt with. We sat there for an hour before they told us that they could not verify our insurance since it was a Sunday. They told me that I need to pay $60.00 to see the Dr or come back during the week. I have a $35.00 copay but they would not take that. I called today to have them call the insurance company and they said they would try to get to it. They told me to call Debbie to get my refund. Well first off the lady answered the phone and sounded like she hated her job as much as I hated going there. We have had the same insurance for almost 2 years. My husband was there in March with the same insurance and they should have the same one still on file but still made me pay the $60.00. So when I spoke to Debbie she told me that she is not the one to give refunds and that I would need to now call Donna. But of course Donna is not in today. I was told that the front desk will need to call the insurance, then it goes across Debbie's desk and then to Donna. And it is up to the bookkeeper to do the refund on her own time. Funny how they are so quick to take them money but not give it back. When I told Debbie that they have horrible service she said that was not going to help me. I was in the middle of telling her that I will just call my bank and dispute the $25.00 difference she hung up on me. I am a manager and if any of my sales staff hung up on a customer they would be fired. This just shows that little Miss Debbie doesn't have customer service skills and the easy way out for her was to hang up. Worst place I have ever been. Will never go back there. Horrible service. Will not be coming here again. The doctor didn't even examine me, ask for my symptoms, or approach me with a professional attitude. He was in and out of my room within 1 minute and didn't want to hear what I had to say regarding my illness. He acted as if my illness didn't exist and made a huge deal over me asking for a doctors note to show that I had been here. It was over pink eye, and I had stated that I have been exposed to it and had transferred it to my other coworkers. He kept saying "Well I don't see anything." Like you can see everything standing 6 feet away from me, and without even actually looking at it up close? Not to mention that I had a crap load of eye drops in my eye to diminish the red so that I could work without anyone noticing. Meanwhile my eye is leaking again and is even more red than before by the end of the day. I have been here maybe 3 times in the last couple of years and have never been treated that way before. But it was enough to make me never come back. Next time I will wait for my real doctor to come back from out of town, so I can be treated by someone who actually knows what they're doing. read more

Dr. Grewal, Dr. Sadaat are one of the worst doctors I have ever come across. Both are arrogant, careless and unprofessional. The front desk crew have no clue what they are doing. You will be waiting for a while even though you have an appointment. The nurses all have attitude. I literally walked out of the room today, after waiting an hour after my appointment, employees attitudes, and my original doctor not being available. After all this Dr. Sadaat walks in the room and asks me what can I do for you? Really? I made an appointment to review my MRI results, so for you to come in and ask me what I am here for us just ridiculous. I ask him you don't know why I am here? You didn't read my appointment notes? At this point this arrogant POS doesn't like getting questioned so he tries to get loud me instead of calming the situation down. I got up and said I don't need your pathetic services. I paid a co-payment and waited an hour and a half to find out it will go away in a couple days? That was stupid!!! I need another urgent care in Tracy because this place sucks. I called to get an appointment and was told there were none but to get there about 2 and I would be seen at 2:30. Not the case. I was just happy to be seen and have my issue confirmed and get an RX. Unfortunately when I finished the RX I was still having symptoms and called to have the doctor reissue the RX. The doctor or person who took my call didn't even have the courtesy to return my call. I saw my personal doctor and got it handled but as a resident of Tracy, I would not venture back to this establishment. It appears all they care about is the money. Allow me to start by saying you will never catch me at this place ever again due to their lack of compassion and assistance. I just recently moved to Tracy and have had two encounters with this place and will travel ANYWHERE else to avoid this urgent care and there money driven motives. I had appendicitis in September of 2012 and assumed I had a severe version of the flu. I called this urgent care and the woman on the other end was rude and not helpful at all, and told me I could not even be seen because the urgent care did not list me as my primary physician. Fine, but I would never assume that as health professionals, they should be allowed to turn someone away like this. I was new to Tracy and the least they could have done is point me in the right direction in a helping matter, but no, just a carless woman on the other end. Today I was trying to find a general doctor again to schedule a physical with and once again I received the same rude response and when I asked to speak to a manger, it just got worse. I spoke to the wife of the owner of the facility. I asked her if people with medi-cal can be seen at this facility and she said well this is not non profit and we need to pay the bills and again denied me health services. She stressed to me the fact that it is a business to her and not so much about the importance of helping patients. Once again as health care professionals I would like to think that me being seen is somewhat important to these "health care professionals," but unfortunately the paychecks they get are more important then everything else including their attitude towards customers. It is owned by a husband and wife with the wrong motives I recommend that anyone seeking assistance drive anywhere but here like myself. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Not only are the people at the front desk rude, but they also lack any sense of customer service. They took a long time to even acknowledge that we walked in the front door. The first visit we waited to be seen (which occurs sometimes so we were patient) however, we had other plans and had to reschedule. We rescheduled for an early appointment so as not to have to wait so long the second time and we STILL waited over 20 minutes even though the place was empty. Went there few months ago on Saturday for ear wax wash. After more than 30 minutes neither the PA or CNA were able to clear the wax and they poked my ears given the impression they did not know how to do it. The PA insisted all was cleared and I have to go and see my regular doctor later on to have it fixed. PA hardly say hi and did not seem to appreciate my business as I have a good PPO. Made me feel like she was doing it for free. read more

Absolutely amazing care. Dr. Grewal reaaly takes the extra time to go over your concerns and very compassionate. He has an extremely busy office and never makes you feel like just a number. My son had a metal flake in his eye on a Saturday so were referred to the Urgent Care. We headed over at 12:30 after checking online to see that they closed at 1. I called ahead to find out the wait time and was told they took their last patient at noon. They had two people waiting and they would not see my son. The reason? The Dr. had a personal appointment and could not leave late. Dr. Ali, if you had wanted a job with regular hours maybe you shouldn't have gone into the medical profession. We ultimately went to the ER at Tracy Sutter where the Doctors and Nurse were wonderful...and didn't mind working after 1:00 pm. read more

I recently had gotten sick and needed to visit a doctor. I tried making and appointment with my primary care doctor's office, but they did not have an available appointment for a few days. I decided to go to the Tracy Urgent Care and was pleasantly surprised by the efficient process and great care that I received. Dr. Grewal was very attentive and the front staff seemed very welcoming. I was so impressed with the clinic that I decided to make Dr. Grewal my primary care doctor. Happy to know that there is reliable urgent care in town with extended hours seven days a week and a great staff! read more

Worst experience ever! I went in there to get help with severe congestion & cough. I made it clear when I walked in that it was my first time I'd ever been there and the receptionist said someone would be getting my info. Thirty mins later no one had bothered to ask me for my info although I had signed in. There were only 4 of us waiting. I walked up to the desk and had to offer them to take my info. When I finally saw the Dr he was so rude! I specifically told him what I was feeling and that I needed something to help me get through work the next day. I wasn't asking for a Dr's note, nor time off of work nor drugs just something for cough & congestion. He kept telling me he didn't know what was wrong with me, I might have some bronchitis but since I couldn't remember the exact name of the antibiotic my primary Dr last gave me he wasn't sure what to give me. I remembered I had the CVS App and got him the name. He half heartedly gave me a prescription for a antibiotic and walked out. I didn't know if he was done or was going to come back?? I finally decided I had enough and walked out. The mentioned to the receptionists ask I walked out I didn't know if he was done or not being that he didn't say anything to me, not good bye or hope you feel better. She asked me to wait and came back to tell me he was with another patient already. NEVER will I come back. I rather pay ER fees. The worst part is it cost me a $50 copay! If I could I would have rated this place 0 stars. Dr.Kenwar Grewal was incredibly rude and offensive to me. I suffer with back pain, I have fused vertebrates and severe anterior compression fracture of T9. I brought in a full report of my spine problem, he barely glanced over it and said he can't help me because he doesn't know what's causing my pain. I told him the report states what's wrong. He only noticed I have problems with my C2 & C3, said my mid-lower back wouldn't hurt from C2 C3. If he would have listened to me he would have known my neck hurt as well. If he would have read the report and knew where a compression fracture pain is usually at he would have realized that my pain is exactly where it's suppose to be. I also suffer from several medical conditions, one of them causes my hands to shake. He asked why my hands shake I said I have a lot of medical problems he said in disbelief "Oh yeah, like what" had an attitude and everything. Kept saying "your too young to have back pain" I kept saying "I don't know what to tell you" I could barely walk from my chair to the table, he said wow your practically disabled. I said yeah, I know. He said he was going to do an x ray and said and I'm running other tests too like a drug screen, I said that's fine but can you give me something for my pain until you get the results he goes "you've been in pain for 6 years can't you wait another week" wtf?!? I couldn't believe my ears. I will not be going back to this place, this dr doesn't even seem to know wtf he's doing. I was completely offended. READ THIS!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! I set up a Yelp! account just to write this review. If i could give it a zero I would. I went in there for an appointment in January 2014. The reason I am writing this now is for recent events and so no one else has to experience this. At my appointment I paid my co-pay like I always do, nothing new. Doctor saw me, care was fine. A couple weeks ago I get a bill from a collection agency saying I owe Tracy Urgent Care money!! I never received any bills or calls from Tracy Urgent Care saying that I owe them anything more than my co-pay. All of a sudden, a year and a half later, I receive a notice I had been sent to collections for an unpaid balance!? Now I have been late or forgot to pay bills to other places before and believe me, they let you know you owe them money. They call and send multiple notices to you including a final "hey if you don't pay this, we are sending you to collections." I GOT NOTHING from Tracy Urgent Care stating I owe them any money at any point in time. No bills, no phone calls, NOTHING! I had no idea I even owed them any money until I got this collection notice. The sad part is, it's not even for that much. I would have gladly paid it off if I knew about it. This same thing also happened to my girl last year. She told me she got a collection notice for money she owed to TUC as well. She too never received any bill or notification that any money was owed! This happened to two people in the same household, so I can imagine we are not the only ones. Please, if this has happened to you or anyone you know, post it up on here.
