I have visited this location several times and without a doubt have received the best service of any urgent car facility anywhere. Dr Grewal, the head Dr in the clinic is an oddity in the urgent care field. He takes his time and treats every patient with thoroughness and compassion. He has even personally made calls to us for follow up, even on his days off from home. The staff always seems friendly and I've never waited for too long to be seen. Dr Grewal has impressed me so much that I as well as my 18 year old daughter have begun to see him as our primary care Physician. He does not have a regular office but he sees regular patients in the Urgent Care facility.I have several medical issues and am totally confident in the care we receive here ! read more

Went to the Tracy Urgent Care today. Their website stated that their hours are 9 AM - 2 PM on Saturdays. We arrived at 1:15, the door was locked but I could hear the tv was on and I could also hear people talking. I knocked on the door thinking that the door was accidentally locked. An employee opened the door and told me they were closed. I showed her my phone with their website up showing they closed at 2 PM. She said, it's wrong, we close at 1 PM, the doctor hasn't had time to do any of his charting and he wants to go home. I asked her to let him know that I was in front, with a sick child and was hoping he would honor his hours listed on his website. She came back and said that the doctor said he would change his website, but he wasn't seeing any more patients today, but that I could come back tomorrow at 9 AM. Really? What a joke!! As we turned to leave, another couple was coming up the stairs and the woman was doubled over in pain. I told her they were closed, she said according to their website they are open until 2. She knocked on the door, and was also turned away!! At least they are consistently rude and inconsiderate!! What kind of reputable business doesn't honor the hours advertised and refuses to see sick patients who have come to their office DURING the established office hours?? I guess Dr. Grewal doesn't realize that he is not the only Urgent Care in this area. Really sad. read more

Every time I call to make an appointment with my doctor, the receptionist who answers is short with me and has an underlying attitude. I feel like an inconvenience and she seems more than happy to get me off of the phone. I understand that Urgent Care facilities are busy and staff could be stressed, but it would be nice to talk to someone who actually cares about helping me (or at the very least pretends to). My daughter had heat rash and fever so I went here because it's close to me. The staff is very very nice. But the doctor wasn't doing his job right. He didnt check my daughter's ear or throat and just talked about the rash I told him. So he googled which medicine to give my baby for rash, and told me with time she should be fine. But the fever went higher and I went to Manteca modern urgent care, the best place, I told them that she had the rash and the fever and they check her ear and throat, and found out that She got pharyngitis. This won't have got worse if the doctor at Tracy discovered it sooner and give me medicine for it! When it comes to babies you guys need to be very careful about where you go, it was my fault I didn't check the reviews before taking my child there and paying for a doctor who would google the medicine she needs. read more

I got there 15 minutes before it opened. The nurses saw I was in pain. They gave me the paperwork to fill out while I waited and greeted another early bird with the same care and hospitality. The MD I saw was kind, proficient, and he listened. I was extremely impressed with the entire staff. The next day six weeks of pain was gone. No opiates. No delays. I would highly recommend Tracy Urgent Care to anyone! My family has been going here since 2012 when we moved here from out of state. I love the fact that they are open 7 days a week and past 5pm weekdays. This means less time away from work for Dr visits as I can easily schedule an appointment ahead of time or walk-in and be seen through the urgent care when an unforseen circumstance arises, for the same coat as an office visit. This beats waiting hours in the ER and the high cost of an emergency room visit. What's really great is that even though this is an urgent care facility, you can also have Dr Grewall as your primary care physician. I have been a patient of Dr. Grewal for over 12 years. He is my primary care physician and he has provided me with excellent preventive and routine care. He guided me through a knee injury. Thank god Tracy Urgent Care was open on a Sunday and Dr. Grewal was on duty. I was working in my back yard doing yard work and severely lacerated two of my fingers with an automatic hedger. When I called the office they told me to come right in. When I arrived at office the Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and they cared for me immediately. Dr. Grewal had to stitch up my fingers one which was extremely mangled. He had to push the tissue back into my finger before he sewed it up. He made me feel at ease and comfortable throughout this stressful ordeal. I was amazed how well he put it back together. A few years ago our family moved to Tracy. I cut my finger badly enough that it was going to need stiches. I had not found a local doctor yet, so I went to Tracy Urgent Care and met Dr. Grewal. He took such good care of me that he has been our family doctor ever since. When we moved again, to the bay area, we did not change to a local doctor. I would give 0 stars but I can't. I had a severe sore throat and was thinking it could be strep throat. I go in and waited over an hour and still didn't get seen. Understandable. I told them I'd come back after my meeting. I come back at 12:55 and was told I had to come back at 2:30! What kind of urgent care is closed during the middle of the day? Walked in without an appointment, didn't know what to expect. Front desk was extremely helpful, I wasn't too sure about my insurance info. They were patient and even helped me fill out the paperwork needed. Was seen fairly quickly. Doctors were nice and very courteous. My injury was minor, as mentioned I didn't know what to expect. Before going, I thought it was going to be a lot worse than what it was. I will definitely be returning if I need any other assistance with any health issues. Absolutely terrible service! Dr. Usman Ali. It took over a 1/2 hour to get called into the office even though they took my money in the first 5 mins I was there & I was the first person in the office. When I finally did get called the dr asked me what I was there for. I told him possible strep throat. He looked into my mouth for literally 2 secs, said yep & wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. No culture, no questions, no feeling, no emotions, no info, nothing. Not even sure if that's exactly what I have, but I'll take the antibiotics and see if it gets better. I don't understand if they hate their job so much then why are they in this field! The emergency room would have been such a better option, but I wanted to try UC first. I've been here twice. I had a bad experience both times. The person at the front desk was rude. She had an attitude because I didn't have an appointment. I went in for a random drug test. I didn't know I needed an appointment for a random drug test. I tried to use a local company but they didn't want my business. They told me the doctor that does random tests will not be in until 12. I drove down to Fremont and didn't have any problems getting my drug test done. I will not come back here for anything. I learned my lesson. read more

If you miss one billing cycle, the nurses and the doctors automatically give you a cold shoulder (the billing department informed the clinic via internet). They're only performing professional services if u have no problems with your insurance or your payments. They refused to see my sick daughter just because I was late on my last payment. They're mean people I really DO NOT recommend for anyone to go there. They're money-hungry, unsympathetic and unkind health staffs. read more

I'm not sure if I've ever even wrote a Yelp review. This place is so terrible that I just had to take the time. It was a friday night and my baby who had a cold the past week- was getting worse- in fact she had green stuff oozing from her eye. I was certain it was conjunctivitis and needed to get her the proper rx to stop it immediately and get her feeling better. I checked online- said they close at 8. I drove there with my sick baby, parking lot is empty, building is empty. I go upstairs and the urgent care doors are LOCKED. I panic as my baby looked terrible, and I was really hoping to avoid an ER visit. I ran back downstairs to confirm I had the right suite #- yes I did. Go back- doors are locked, but I can hear people talking. I knock on door. Nothing. I call them and they send me straight to vm that says they are experiencing high call volume of patients and can't take anyone. I find this odd because parking lot is empty. I knock again. Nothing. Call again. As any concerned mother would do- I banged on the door- mind you it has now been 20 min of knocking. Finally- they open the door. The lady is looking at me like I'm the most annoying thing ever and I'm looking at her like the wench she must be. She says they were in the back. Weird because I heard them talking- surely they heard me banging. When I get in she says sorry but they take their last patient at 7:30- I said great- its 7:21. She rolled her eyes. I said listen- you don't even need to take me to the back room- the kid has pink eye- write me a rx for the drops and I'll be out of here. Obviously you want to go home- so do we. Then she tried to tell me they probably don't take my insurance so... I cut her off- I have the best insurance around- I can go anywhere. Anyways- I get to the back- the DR comes in- looks at the baby says yep thats it- writes the rx ands I was literally out at 7:33- they still got to go home early. Imagine how much earlier they would've been had they not made me bang on the locked door for 20 minutes. Terrible Terrible. These people need new jobs because helping people is not their strong suit. read more

I called my insurance before making a sports physical and the clinic was in network. When I called to make appointment they said they took insurance. When I got to the appointment they said I had to pay cash and bill insurance myself!!! The front desk was very rude and we waited 45 minutes in the waiting room for a scheduled appointment. They are "privately owned" so they can't take insurance, bs they are too lazy. Go somewhere else. read more

My dad started seeing Dr. Grewal over 10 years ago as his primary. Every visit for the past 10 years has been caring, attentive, and overall outstanding! We never feel uncomfortable talking to him about our concerns and despite how busy he is he will give us his full attention when needed. Some visits are short and that's usually when it's a maintanence checkup which is appropriate. We've never questioned his medical expertise because his advice is always tailored to our situation. You'll get better service at the DMV than this place! The front desk staff are just a piece of work--rude, uncourteous, and completely unwilling to help. As previous reviewers have stated, the folks who work here really need to exercise more compassion. They will collect your co-payment first before they ask 'how are you doing?' or 'what seems to be hurting?' The staff members demeanor and conduct all seem to show how much they HATE working for this clinic. It is truly sad to see this happening. One can only hope this is not the trend, and that this urgent care clinic is the exception to the type of care patients can expect from our current health care system. This is a horrible medical clinic, STAY AWAY! On August 19th my wife started vomiting and had terrible pain in her side. It was 8:30 PM, I looked for a urgent care online and found Tracy Urgent Care. I called and explained to whoever answered what my wife was experiencing. The first question I was ask, "Do you have insurance". I told them we did and that it was above average. I then ask what their hours were, and could they see my wife tonight. I was put on hold, when they came back on the line, they said that they close in 20 minutes, but if we could get there before 9:00 PM they could see her. My wife and I left for the clinic immediately, and arrived at 8:50 PM. The building is a little confusing and we missed that they are upstairs. As we turned to go back and look at the buildings register, there was a group of people coming down the stairs talking. I ask them if the urgent care was upstairs? I was told yes but that they were closed by the first woman coming down. It became obvious, that this group was actually the employee's of the clinic. I started to explain, that I had just called and been told they would see my wife. The woman I talked to first, deferred to who was, obviously, the doctor. I said, my wife is in pain and vomiting, he said "We're closed" and continued to walk away towards the front door of the building. As we got outside, I said, " Your a Doctor?" honestly very snidely. "Don't you take an oath to help people." He continued to his car, then turned and said, "Sir, I just worked a 12 hour shift." as if he was the only guy who ever did that. My wife has a very demanding job and often works 12 to 14 hours, I own my business and do the same. We both treat our clients with respect and if someone had entered either of our business', at the end of a long day, either of us would have helped them. Specially, if they had called first, and neither of us work in the medical or life threatening field. We ended up a Tracy Hospital Emergency, waited for hours, which is what we were trying to avoid, and my wife was diagnosed, with kidney stones. We may have ended up at the hospital even if the "doctor" had done the "RIGHT THING" and taken the time to at least made sure she was not in immediate danger. But, NO, he just walked away from a potentially life threatening patient. This "URGENT CARE" clinic should be avoided at all cost! read more

I had to put 1 star to write this review, otherwise it'd be 0 stars. Stepped in the clinic @8am. Heard the ladies personal conversation over ten minutes and my husband and I were saying "hello" in a loud enough voice so you can hear in the next room. I was hoping they'd get a clue that a customer was here. Finally after ten minutes this lady with a nose piercing walks up, we ask her for the procedure on what to do and she told us. That's great. But with lack of enthusiasm to help a possible client and attitude as "how dear they interrupt my convo" , didn't make it to even seeing the doctor. Shitty up front service & I will not recommend this place. It's an accident that I even walked into this place. I have to say I was a bit hesitant as one I hate going to the doctor and two i hate new doctors, but I have to admit that everyone was really nice and put me at ease.
