I had to get work done on three different parts of our Town and Country mini-van. Part of the work was from corrosion so the dealership picked the body shop and since the van was already out of commission I had Tracy's complete the other work. The van has a beautiful metallic gold paint (Cashmere Pearlcoat to Chrysler). I was worried about the a patchwork paint job and blending. I never actually set foot in Tracy's I left previous quotes in the car and talked to the manager on the phone. My worries were misplaced. I brought in my 2004 BMW 330ci due to having a new bumper cover painted and installed by another body shop, but the other shop failed to align it properly. I searched on Yelp and found Tracy's Auto Body and decided to give them a try and see if they can fix the fitment issue. Chip promptly answered my message and gave me a reasonable quote. I brought my car in and had it out the same day, and much to my amazement, they were able to line it up perfectly. The issue was that the other body shop had failed to use the plastic clips that attach the actual aluminum bumper to the bumper cover. This is why it pays to take your car to a reputable shop so they can get it right the first time. Additionally, I had a license plate frame that needed to be painted and they were able to get it color matched perfectly and back to me in a couple of days. My daughter had a run-in with a tree limb that overhung a parking space, and a less than responsible property owner who tried to blame the accident on her. They ended up cutting the tree down to the ground (which was a big indication that they realized the limb was a problem), but were nasty about what they would pay for the damage. She took the truck to Tracy's Auto Body shop based on the Yelp reviews, and Tracy's not only got the work finished in record time, they did an amazing job and agreed to do the work for what the stingy insurance company finally agreed to pay. Finally, well-qualified, well-established mechanics that don't talk to me like I'm a dumb, car-ignorant girl - even if I am. I was sitting at a desk establishing an estimate for my Honda within 20 minutes of calling them. The receptionist was polite and efficient, but truly the best part was their interactive, transparent estimate process. I was able to view the screen as my estimator drag and dropped the parts he suspected I would need into a spreadsheet. Then, I saw him calculate the labor hours - something I had NEVER been privy to before. Tracy's Auto Body was affordable, very quick and went above and beyond - alerting me to other pieces that were loose and fixing them for free. I highly recommended their services. I've received no free b... this is an honest review. I recently took my vehicle into this, what i thought was a professional body shop. However, after $686.00 dollars and zero customer service, well. The issue i brought my vehicle in for repairs, about 60% fixed. I now have to go to Chevy which i was trying to avoid in the beginning. Horrible!!!! please don't take your vehicle here ever!!!!!!! Kat, my consultant never, once bothered to call me. Until, the cost went up...2 days later and the ordering of the wrong parts twice, and me calling to find out what was happening with my vehicle. I finally got some sort of resolution after calling multiple times, i'm your customer!!!. Your taking my money for a service, which by the way was horrible! End result....thumbs down. When i picked my vehicle up..she didn't even bother to walk me through what they had done. Shit service!!! Missing part that i expected to be fixed... which seems to be another item on my to do list. Which I thought would have been taken care of or posted in the initial estimate. And now after 2 weeks.... a loose front top piece to my apparently fixed bumper. Please....avoid this company at all costs!!! I give this company no stars! Just being honest, and this was a 2 week waiting period to really grasp the shit service i received! OEM price for the chrome bumper $187.00, there cost $387.00 and labor... i understand companies have to make money... i feel like i did a week in prison! and never got a simple thank you! Despite my best efforts to keep our 2015 Honda ODY looking perfect, it was involved in a minor accident. After the last auto body repair experience I had with Service King, my heart rate instantly increased! I did not want another poor repair or insurance night mare! Then I remembered Chip Tracy, and after a quick google search, I found his shop. I did some additional research and found STELLAR reviews on Yelp as well as Google. I called to make an appointment and was impressed at the way Nick, handled my call. Soon after the call, I brought my car in for an estimate. Troy quickly provided an estimate and helped me through the rest of the process. My car was ready ahead of schedule and waiting for me when I went to pick it up. As I pulled into the parking lot I expected to see inconsistent gaps, paint marks, black trim pieces painted over, tape marks, a different colored sagging rear bumper, (all the things I experienced at Service King), however my car was PERFECT! There is no evidence of an accident, a repair, or that it had been damaged at all! It looks like new! I came in this past April, 2017 needing my tailgate handle lock fixed - as I could not open it. I thought the lock was busted and would need to be replaced. Tony the Manager said it probably was a simple fix and had me come in early next morning before they got busy. Only took 20 minutes and no new parts or repairs needed... Just a thorough cleaning and some grease. I know this is a small deal, but they could have lied to me and gouged me. They did not. Less than $50! I met the owner, too - Chip. This is nice shop, clean and organized. I would give it five stars but, since I have not used them to actually do body work, I thought I could not fairly rate their body repair work, yet. However, based on my experience with these kind folks, I will indeed go to them when I need auto-body work done. read more

The only complaint i have is the front desk woman. she's not very friendly at all. upon paying for the repair, i noticed the total was more than what i was quoted. i brought this up to the receptionist who had me speak to Kat. Kat fixes it right away and gave me the price i was originally quoted. the receptionist seemed really irritated and annoyed and acted like it was a huge inconvenience. her bad attitude made me uncomfortable and unfortunately because of it, i won't be returning in the future. thank you Kat for all the help! read more

My husband closed the garage door down on my brand new car causing damage to my roof...i found Tracy's on yelp and requested assistance. Within 5 minutes i was setting up an appointment through Chip for the next day. I met with Kat and she inspected my car and gave me the not so good news...because of the location of the damage, the sunroof etc, it would be a big job-showing me things i didn't even notice/understand. I was pretty upset. She mentioned a plan b, where they might be able to get it presentable without major repair. It wouldnt be good as new unless they did the major job, which i didn't want to do because of insurance premiums. I brought my car in this week and they called me within a couple hours to come pick it up. I was really shocked at how good they made it look with some buffing and touchup. Unless you are looking down on it right up close, you can't tell! I want to thank Kat and the staff for their kindness and generosity and their time. Extremely poor workmanship. Brought in a 2016 Outback here for $10k of body work when the car was rear ended, including a rear hatch replacement. Took 41+ days to complete the repairs - which resulted in some out of pocket rental costs (50% of which were covered by the shop). When I got the car back, the rear hatch wiper was not connected to the wiper fluid bank. The back-up camera randomly turns off when in reverse. Found loose, visible wires around the driver seat. Found additional chips and paint damage on the car. Car was returned with oil smudges all around the driver seat, and the headliner was covered in dust and oil smudges (resulting in an interior detail). Will be taking the car to the dealership to run full diagnostics to ensure that the airbags, auto braking system, etc. are not affected by this very poor and shoddy workmanship. I used this shop in 2016 for another repair (which was done well). But, the most recent experience is troublesome. Thankfully, the car is under full warranty, and I am hoping that the shop hasn't screwed up any other safety systems or electronics. Avoid at all costs. read more

I've had 5 cars during that time and have never trusted taking my car to anyone else, even if it means driving all the way across town to Tempe. I have had nothing but outstanding experiences with Tracy's, including at least 3-4 times over the years where Chip has found a way to save me a ton of money versus other quotes I've received. Amazing people!!! My car was vandalized and left with a huge scratch on the front and back passenger doors. My insurance adjuster warned me that a lot of auto shops in the Phoenix area take advantage of their customers, especially young women like myself. When I got there, Anthony immediately helped me out and was nothing but kind. They were able to fix my large scratch that day and my car looks as good as new!! I have used Tracy's Auto Body since I moved to the Valley 16 years ago - 4 vehicles repaired there. They are honest and reliable, and push insurance companies for approval of OEM parts. Although they guarantee their work for life, I have never had to bring a vehicle back...they fix it right the first time. Yesterday, I stopped by because my less than one year old truck had a scrape with a gate. I was prepared to get an estimate, when Anthony asked for my keys and drove the vehicle into a repair bay. While he had the vehicle, I had a great conversation with the owner, Chip. Anthony returned and the scratches on the front headlight lens were removed and you could barely see the scratch on the paint. I offered to pay, and they said no charge! Great customer service for years, and very honest! While I prefer not to see them because of an acccident, I know that I will be taken care of if I ever need a repair shop. read more

The paint on the roof of my 2003 G35 had deteriorated badly in the last few months (it's out in the sun now, as a new Mustang has usurped its place in the garage!). Chip said it was clear-coat failure and gave me a great price on a repaint of the roof. Left it with them for a week, and the G is back to being beautiful again! Chip and the crew did a great job of working around the sunroof and front/back glass to minimize costs. Kat used all the terms of someone who was not truthful. I assume, after All star Insurance stated she sent the paperwork to the wrong email address; causing another week. She also promised updated info on the car; never happened, not one call after 3.5 weeks. I would ask questions and her response was always I THINK! She never took the time to find out any answers and finally said at the end of the third week she promised to call us back because 3 days had turned into THREE WEEKS . I have gone to Tracy's twice, and both times it was excellent. They were two separate kinds of issues. One was expensive and one was not, the first took a few days and the other was taken care of within 20 minutes. But both times they couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly, I trusted their analysis both times, and the more serious repair they were a lot more up front than the other places where I had gotten a quote. Oh, and they charged less because they pointed out the other places were planning to do unnecessary work. The second time -- after someone had backed into me in a parking lot -- they did it for NOTHING. And I was willing to pay. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

This is the only repair shop I go to (after getting ripped off at several other ones before). They really know what they are doing and will work with you to find the best option for you. There's no pressure, and if something is out of your price range they sit down to find a way to do it for a more reasonable price instead of pretending that there are no other options. Since my first visit about four years ago I haven't used any other shop for repairs. I have three very "active" kids and cars that are over 12 years old, so I tend to need minor fixes often. They are always quick, and their estimates for price and time are always right on. They have never been late finishing repairs, which is important with three kids who all have different schedules! Other times I have needed more extensive repairs - one time my car was totaled by the insurance company, and Tracy got me back on the road for around $200 (!) and the car is still running fine four years later. I brought a car in a few weeks ago because of brake trouble and a strange noise in the engine. I arrived 15 minutes after closing and he stayed to take a look - it turned out that the brakes just needed fluid, so he topped it off for me at no charge. He also checked the engine and instead of offering to "fix" it for hundreds of dollars like some places would have he told me about a product I could get at Pep Boys that would probably work and told me to come back if it didn't. These guys are really good, helpful, and honest. There is no other shop I would recommend. read more
