The experience has been great! When we first dropped off my car Chris took the time to go over the damage with me. He explained the how the process works and what to expect from insurance - what I appreciated most was his frank honesty about the damage to the car and he could and could not do. You know instantly that Chris is an expert in his field and has been doing this for a very long time. It is very easy to trust his opinion. Chris also gave us a tour of the facility. Unfortunately, after the installation, I discovered that most of it wasn't working correctly. The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. Likely predates my ownership of the car and no way for any of us to know until we dug in and started replacing things. Welcome to cars, custom cars = custom problems. Paul handled things amazingly even though there was some miscommunication with his front of house management. In the end I am very happy with the stand up resolution to things.
