During the estimate, he pointed out numerous problems with the original installation and assured us that he would take good care of my mother and provide a quality driveway that would last. Unfortunately, less than two years later - close to a year - the surface of the new driveway is already showing widespread scaling/spalling throughout multiple sections. The attached photos show the condition of the concrete. When I contacted him about the issue, his response was simply that it was caused by a "bad batch of concrete." Ironically, that was the exact same explanation given by the contractor whose driveway he had criticized. No inspection was offered, no recommendations were provided, and no effort was made to help resolve the problem. I understand that issues can arise in construction projects. What disappointed me most was the lack of concern and the absence of any attempt to stand behind the work. After paying twice to have my mother's driveway done correctly, I expected a better outcome and a more professional response.
