I love this TJ'S but I don't think I've ever been to one I didn't love. As usual, the staff are super friendly and helpful. They actually seem to enjoy their work. Not sure if it's just this place or overall, but I feel like they've been running out of stock on things quite a bit lately :( but it's prob due to their popularity and not the location. Someone always jumps right on it to tell me when it's due in or the reason for the delay. they reformulated their coconut water bc the producer wanted to add preservatives and TJ refused and had to find another one that was up to TJ standards. I went for MONTHS without but they finally got it back on the shelf a few weeks ago. Yay! read more

This is the flagship location for TJ's in NC, and it's always packed. I'm a little biased as I work for Whole Foods, but you can't beat TJ's for cheap staples and awesome cleaning products and amazing smells for soaps. I'll keep going if you do. read more

Trader Joe's is a great place to go to get dinner inspiration. I always go it not knowing and come out with a treasure trove my delicacys. I love that everything is so good from the fresh produce to the frozen meals. It's also the effect amount for singles and couples as well as catering to families. I also love (and hate) that they stick to seasonal good. Meaning their white fudge gingerbread men, and fall Kringle are actually only there when it's season appropriate. They also do a great job representing many different nationalities of from French Spanish American and meddetterranian. I love Trader Joe's. You'll want to not go during the day, as that's when all the Cary moms are out in full force with their kids. If you go between eight and nine you will find it much quieter and quicker. read more

I think organic food stores get a bad rap sometimes for being so expensive, clearly, these people have not been to Trader Joe's! The staff is amazing- always friendly and always helpful. The store can be quite busy, but there is someone ALWAYS walking around the store asking if anyone needs help (in fact they usually hold a sign). The fruits and vegetables are fresh and affordable. I was completely stoked, California transplant that I am, to find that they have a Trader Joe's here. I've also been impressed to find a couple of new changes since I last went to a Trader Joe's, which are probably chain-wide. First, they have at least one person walking around with a huge stick with a question mark on top of it so you know where someone is to ask questions. Second, they often do wine-tastings that allow you to sample two or three options (from what I've seen--not a huge wine drinker myself) after, of course, showing your license. I also got some pretty daffodils the other day for a buck-fifty, can't beat that. I am a huge fan of their gorgonzola ravioli as well as their two types of gnocchi (sorrenti and gorgonzola if I recall correctly), am becoming a big fan of their big bottles of green tea, and am pissed that I keep buying pesto tubs from Harris Teater for $5.50, when they have a different brand here for a little over $2.00. While this place is smaller than Whole Foods, I think you get better deals and definitely a very entertaining newsletter highlighting what's new product-wise there. read more

I would give TJs a five start rating, except that they are so very popular they are always out of my favorites, and they are frequently crowded! Seriously, the selection and quality are great, and the customer service is superior. However, when I go in specifically to get Ruby Red Chai Tea (etc, etc) and it is out - sometimes for weeks at a time - it does get a little annoying. And you must make up your mind up front to put up with the crowd - patience getting through checkout is mandatory. Once you get to the cashier, you will forget your annoyance, but it does take time. Overall two thumbs up - more stock and more cashiers would make this a store fit for heaven. :) read more

This is a very neat place to go. I take my time when I'm there looking at everything. I love the organic choices and large varieties of olive oils, nuts, etc. They always have something cooking up in the back of the store to sample too! read more

Trader Joe's is great for a large number of the products I need. I can't find everything there, but they have good, competitive prices for many of the items on my weekly shopping list. (And their products are usually better quality than comparatively priced products at other stores.) read more

Clines Ancient Vines, Zinfandel is $5 less @ TJ's than at whole foods. Worth the drive. After reading the company policies on NON-GMO, NON Gassed, Whole, and best practices farmed food at a very reasonable prices, you can't beat this shopping experience. Variety is limited, but who really cares when you know the quality of food is so great. Great choices for busy families needing ready made meals you can trust. The people are always cheerful and helpful, and no mater how busy they are, I am treated like i am the only customer in the store. Trader joe is hands down my favorite grocery store! They always have unique flavored food items, and the price is just right. Organic and healthy food should not be unaffordable, and asparagus soaked water should not be eight bucks (yes I'm talking about you WF). My must buy every time is very much fruit related, especially mangos. Those chili dried mango are yum! The organic green figs, mango, peaches, and strawberry are all in great quality! We love everything about this Trader Joe's - we have for a long time - and last night, we had an exceptional experience. My daughter needed an add-on gift for her friend's birthday. Her friend happens to LOVE Trader Joe's sourdough bread, so I went in to buy a round. The shelf was empty at 8:40 pm, so I asked an employee, and she pulled one out of the back for me. When I told her why I was buying the bread, she ran up front and picked up a potted succulent plant, and said, "This is on us. Tell her happy birthday!" We already shop here regularly, and consistently experience great service, but last night was even more special. This TJ's is great. Service and staff is always helpful and friendly. The store is almost always busy. Any produce I have gotten here is always fresh and the variety and prices are unbeatable. The parking situation is much better than a lot of TJ's that I've been to, but it's still a little crazy at times. read more

Great grocery store to go to find organic food at great prices. They also have some pretty cool ethnic food, too. They have great non-organic food too that is mostly all natural. We always make a TJ run once a week. We try to hit it on a sunday morning before the church crowd, otherwise it can get pretty packed. I randomly bought dog food on a whim, and for two years, the blue bag food is the only kibble my yellow lab will eat. Because it is only sold in 8 lbs bags, we visit quite often and have discovered many delicious frozen foods, fresh produce, and cheap dairy products! We love TJ's! read more

I like this one better than the Raleigh location because it doesn't feel as cramped and the wait to check out isn't as long. Down side is the parking is rough and getting in and out of the location is a PITA. People who work there are nice. read more

I made the trip out to Cary to go to Trader Joe's for the first time. It was a lot smaller than what I expected and it was very crowded for a Tuesday afternoon. Most of the stuff they had was their own brand. The stuff they offer is very high quality and it's cheaper--I am guessing--because it's their own brand. This trader Joe's is bright and much cleaner than the trader Joe's on Wake Forest road. They serve free samples and they have coffee for free available that you can sample. I like the new products especially different cheeses they come up with. read more

Great food and really nice people. I love to try there free samples, just make sure not to eat it if you are on budget. You may end up going overboard like me if you do. Only thing I bought there so far that was absolutely terrible was there non fat or low fat brownies, but I mean it was a brownie mix where you use greek yogurt. I personally recommend the sweet apple chicken sausage, so addicted to those. Also good for frozen meals that you can't get at places like harris teeter and such. read more

If you haven't been to a Trader Joe's THIS IS THE TIME OF THE YEAR to try it out. Always known for seasonal selections I think T. Joes is the best food store to help me plan for holiday celebrations. One of my favorites is the frozen pumpkin pie - remove from freezer let thaw and serve. Perfect size for 4 - 6 people and an incredibly good pie. Grab a mini cup of coffee and walk around picking and choosing what might become your fav. Anything I try and don't care of I return to the store for a refund, no questions asked.
