This store had everything I needed and so much more! I had made a list of items I wanted, which included apple cider jam and pumpkin anything. I found apple cider jam, fig butter, pumpkin butter, pumpkin pasta shaped like little pumpkins, pumpkin butternut squash pasta sauce, pumpkin salsa, etc. They know the way to my heart because all of their beautiful pumpkin items were front and center and strategically grouped together so I could maximize the number of pumpkin items I could use in one dish. There's also tonsss of parking here in a garage attached to TJoe's, so you won't have to carry your millions of bags very far. read more

The place was clean and employee's organizing and straighten things! The isles wide and product's well organized! Great things to note: ~ Great covered parking, right next to the shop. (Make sure you park in the vendor parking, not the tenant parking area. ~ Flowers are a great price point and beautiful! ~ Fun little carts for the little ones to push around. (As well as big carts for you!) ~ The place is really clean and well organized! ~ The staff is hard workers and friendly! ~ The price point on a number of things are great for the pocket book! ~ Lots of check out counters. ( To help get you out quicker!) ~ Lots of fresh fruits and veggies! ~ Great looking meats and fish! ~ Love the nuts section! ~ Fun spice area! ~ Please note, when you can't find something, please ask the employees, they are more than willing to help you out! ~ The isles are wide, and the place is well laid out! ~ Fun entry plants and displays as you enter! ~ Clean place and you can tell the employees like working here, Big Plus! ~ Great location! I don't think it's any secret, I love Trader Joe's! And how exciting to finally have one in Uptown! Well, sort of in Uptown. On Cole, really close to Villa-O and Toulouse and Sur La Table and all those great places. It's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. As usual, the employees were exceedingly friendly and helpful and chipper and ready for anything. While we were there they were giving away samples of BBQ Chicken Pizza, which was delicious. I love that Trader Joe's always has at least one sample available, and really friendly people doling them out. And another thing I really appreciate about TJ's: their greeting cards! It's not a huge selection, but the selection they do have is unique and beautiful and only 99 cents! Definitely worth checking out. Also, I think I say this to everyone I've ever talked to about Trader Joe's, but get the Chocolate Honey Mints! So cheap, so delicious, so low calorie, only 3 ingredients (cocoa, mint, honey). I've gone in a couple of times. Way overrated. Lousy selection. Curation of items simply didn't provide much I was interested in buying. Employees are friendly, but after all the hype I was very underwhelmed. Central Market much better selection, better quality and more appealing layout. read more

Bless this Trader Joe's for existing in Uptown. If you live in Uptown and you don't want to pay $5 for artisan crackers at Whole Foods, then Trader Joe's will seem like an angel to you. I love this store because it has so many delicious/good quality things for an even better price. I love everything from the flowers to the wine selection here. And speaking of wine, the wine selection here is BOMB. It is so inexpensive ($5 champagne??) and their wine and beer selection is great for being the small store that they are. This is my #1 place for buying wine. If I ever need to bring a bottle of wine to a party, I make a beeline for Trader Joe's to get it. Shopping here always makes me feel like I'm shopping in a grandmother's hand-selected grocery store. It's so cute and quaint and that I keep coming back. read more

I don't know how they do it. How they have friendly and helpful staff nationwide! We have shopped at Trader Joe's in Orange County, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston, and now this location. Every single time we feel welcomed and appreciated as clients. This particular store is in a perfect location. My family came to Dallas for a business conference last month. My husband and I attempted to eat healthy breakfast and snacks on this business travel. We didn't have a car. We Googled local grocery stores and found that this Trader Joes' was only a few minutes walk from our hotel. Here are the Pros and Cons of this location: Pros- 1. Convenient location in the outdoor mall. 2. Friendly staff. The cashier struck-up a conversation with us. It turned out that he just moved to Dallas from where we live. 3. Great variety of fresh produce. A wide selection of high quality grocery. 4. Lots of options for pre-packed snacks. Cons- 1. Two of the peaches that we chose were already bruised and rotten. Perhaps they might want to check their fruits more often. read more

This is my closest Trader Joe's, I like them but man do I always feel uncomfortable there. The people who shop there are very ignorant and entitled. Every time I shop there I get cut in the checkout line. Last time was the last time since even the checkout girl said nothing to an entitled guy who cut in front of me with his wine at 11 am. She was already greeting me and this guy just sets his groceries down before I get it out of my cart. Cashier just says "oh" and then proceeds to help him checkout. I was in disbelief and just left my cart there and left. Sadly I won't be shopping there anymore and that makes me sad but I will just go to my local Cox Farm, much nicer folks. I know this isn't TJ's fault but hey I was there first, why did the cashier just start helping the cutter? read more

I feel like I don't need to talk about the unique selection that TJ's offers because it's well known that it's amazing, so I'll just focus on the employees and their bagging game. I am convinced that there is a training class that all TJ's employees take to teach them how to bag groceries in the most efficient way possible. I've been to TJ's in multiple different states and cities. They all are wizards at bagging. It's like a cult. When I moved here and went to Kroger, I got like fifteen plastic bags for 20 grocery items. They once gave me one bag for two bananas. Not here at TJ's. Today, I bought my weekly groceries, and they fit everything in three bags. Each bag was packed as if the employees had some hidden competition to see who could bag the most dollars of groceries using the fewest bags. But here's the thing, it's also organized thoughtfully. The groceries are bagged to have a solid foundation, with the cold and non-fragile items at the bottom. The things more likely to bruise or break end up near the top. Even when the bags are filled to the brim with irregular shaped groceries, the grocery bags don't commit suicide by tipping over when I drive. It's like magic. If you like not killing the environment with your grocery bag game, I highly recommend TJ's. read more

Trader Joe's is the best. It is smaller than other grocery stores, but the prices can't be beat. They also usually carry just one time of item. For instance, they don't have 30 varieties of canned corn. They have one. On the other hand, great selection of wine and craft beer. And they are famous for $2 Buck Chuck, the $2.99 bottle of wine. I have served it for friends and they couldn't believe it was only $3. I think my only complaint is that they sometimes package produce that doesn't seem to need packaging. For instance, instead of selling pomegranate seeds in the pomegranate, they remove the seeds and sell it in the package. But still, love this place. Wish there were more. read more

As an adult with a hidden disability that makes me a vulnerable adult and high risk for Covid-19, I was so excited to go to Trader Joes at 8AM-9AM during the Senior/Persons with Disabilities hours, as this provided me a sense of comfort during covid that I could grocery shop without putting myself at risk. I was even more excited that I was the only person in the parking lot when I arrived. As I approached the cart area, the lady working the cart area, Cheyenne, advised me I could not go in the store. When I advised her I had a disability and was high risk for Covid-19 she said she couldn't see it. She then berated me and told me "you can come back at 9". Mind you, I haven't left my house more than 10 times in the past 5 months and I was excited to feel safe and protected at Trader Joes and yet I was denied entrance. I then left and I called the store and the manager, Eddy, advised me that I couldn't come in because it was only "senior" hours, even though that is not what the website states. So they blatantly violated the ADA which my disability falls under and I didn't get groceries. They treated me like garbage and I legit cried the whole drive home. These people don't care about us as customers or as people. Stay away from here. They are not good people, not nice, not helpful, not friendly, and blatantly discriminated against my hidden disability because they "couldn't see it". read more

I love Trader Joe's. They have tons of healthy options for affordable prices. My main staples are the green salsa burrito, cold brew espresso coffee, and the chicken parmigiana! Don't dare get those items because I hate it when they are out of stock! The staff there are always friendly! read more

I think it's safe to say that every trader joes, or most, has the friendliest staff. The store is always organized and clean. Everything is easy to find and a lot of different variety options. I enjoy their cheese selection and fruit section as well if i'm in need to a healthy snack. My office building is right across so this TJ is really convenient. The interior is really open and spacious, so that's nice! They always have lots of flowers and I love that. There is a parking garage next door, completely free parking and very accessible read more

I'm just so excited that there is a Trader Joes in this area now! It is one of the smaller Trader Joe's I have been in, however, it still meets all of your standard, basic grocery needs. You can't beat their prices. I love their portioned out vegetables and meals. Their brand name items are also pretty great! I have gotten a shopping routine down here so am usually able to buy a week's worth of groceries for $30-$40. They also have a pretty decent wine selection, also with great prices! There is a large parking garage connected to the store/ building so parking has never been an issue. read more

My first Traders Joe's experience and i must say it was amazing ! I wanted to try a sauce and they opened it up and let me try it, and i definitely ended up buying it. I came to this Trader Joe's after an errand I had downtown, it took me about 3 tries until I made the right turn using my trusty waze, living in dallas you never have to struggle with parking and naturally assume that there is a huge parking lot at any store haha. Well at this Trader Joe's it's either you find street parking or you park in an indoors parking lot that seems to be the parking garage for a residential building. Anyways, Once in was pretty surprised to see that it's pretty tiny, probably one of the smallest Trader Joe's I've been to. It was an in and out kind of situation cause I had to catch a flight, but eventually I for what I needed. I was content with the friendly staff assistance (as always) and overall had a nice experience. I wouldn't probably travel 11 miles to go this location haha. Yum, spoiled ground beef is so tasty. Do not shop here. They have no quality control and don't care if they are selling spoiled products. 2 of the 3 pounds I purchased were spoiled (I didn't bother to open the 3rd) and when I returned them they did nothing to check the remaining stock. I am a huge TJ fan from way back & I hate to say but this store is a bit of a forgotten stepchild. It's not as well stocked as the other Dallas stores(beer, wine and some groceries)and the produce just never seems fresh. I have bought chicken there twice and both were spoiled. Ofcourse, they took them back no questions asked. This is an odd location and I am not sure the fresh items move real fast. Needs some help read more
