When I am home, I always come here. They have such great and fresh food. My favorite is their rosemary chicken. Heat it up with some pasta and you have an extremely easy and delicious meal. They have a lot of different types of food as well as their own inventions. Addtionally, all the staff is extremely friendly and will help you with anything you need. They also have really great recipes to try and they are simple but make a beautiful meal. read more

I forgot about this place but as I was lamenting about the less-than fresh fresh produce in my local supermarkets, a girlfriend suggested Trader Joes. It's something more of a drive for me (but only 20 mins as opposed to 10 to my locals) but I would absolutely go back more often. It's a little on the small side but well laid-out, really clean and best of all, everything is so fresh. TJ's must be pumping something into the aircon (or into the paychecks) as the staff were all happy, smiling, helpful and even singing along to the really cool music being played. Best of all, it's such good value for money. I know how much I pay for my regular purchases at other spots, and I walked out of TJ's with much more change and better bang for my buck. Well worth the extra mileage on the gas-guzzler. I will become a regular here! read more

I love this place. Not only because I know a few people that work there, but this is a recession and budget friendly place to stay healthy and keep money in your pocket. My only complaint about this particular location is that they don't carry alcohol. But I believe the one in west field does. I don't know what happens at the briefing for trader joes' employees in the morning but it should be bottled and sold to all other businesses. I like trader Joe's. The food is an good value and since they have less choices compared to the supermarket I don's spend all day comparing labels. The lines move along quickly and the prepared food is very good for a quick lunch at work. I have heard that they are building on in Randolph which will be closer to my home making it more convenient to shop for my home groceries. read more

I just noticed that in my original review I only gave one star. That was in error. I meant to give 5 stars. My bad! The staff here is helpful to a fault. The selection of products is off the foodie scale. They may not have everything you want, but they pretty much have everything you need. TJ's has some great selections and variety. But everytime I have purchase produce there it gets moldy and gross after 3 days. I feel like produce should last more than three days, particularly when it is oranges, melons, etc. Things with thick rinds. It has literally happened with everything I have purchased here. Ever since they moved to their new location, Trader Joe's has gotten even better. They're in a more accessible location, with a better selection of goods to offer, as well as more space. It is a more health-conscious supermarket than say, Shoprite or Pathmark, which I personally resonate with. read more

Trader Joe's is pretty awesome. It's not the biggest store but they have a pretty good selection of various foods. Major props to them for having a phenomenal "pumpkin food" selection during the Fall. My wife and I come here to get some of their frozen apps, cheeses, cereal and fruit. My wife is also a huge fan of their famous cookie butter (not so much for me). But, many people are. They always have some free samples of something which makes for a more pleasant trip. The most surprising thing about Trader Joe's to me are the prices. You'd think this place would be a total ripoff but they're actually incredibly reasonably priced. The checkout lines are always fast and the employees are always very friendly and helpful. Be careful what time you go, though, as this is an incredibly busy shopping center and finding parking can be an issue. read more

Small! It shares a parking lot with many other stores and getting in/out can be tricky. As usual, the staff is incredibly friendly and everything is well priced and fresh. The only issue is that it's a very small store. If this is the closest one to you, then it'll have to do but if you can get over to Westfield or even Millburn, that'd be a better option. Much happier that they have moved to the location they're in now, but I always find it still super hard to navigate through the aisles and the people. The customers tend to be some of the rudest and entitled I've run into in a grocery store. However, the staff more than makes up for their customers. I have never been in there when one of the staff has either gone out of the way to find me something or to just simply make eye contact to say hi or something witty. The employees definitely are the reason to keep returning. The only drawback is that they seem to discontinue items that are my favorites or the reason why I make the trip to TJ's in the first place. I am a Trader Joe's fan since it opened years ago in Florham Park. Now that it has become a popular place, and moved locations, ugh. The staff is great if not a little more harried now. I find it takes 3 times to finally get the products I regularly buy to be in stock--seems like more and more items are out of stock regularly. The parking is BAD and I recommend avoiding at mid day and after work. Prices have gone up a bit too. So I remain a fan but have to acknowledge that this isn't the same Trader Joe's I used to know. read more

best staff in town! groceries are cheap but not really on some items. baked goods taste waxy and flavorless like they were once frozen and defrosted. freemini coffee and cooking demo samples make it fun. the BAD NEWS IS NO PARKING!!!! there are 7 restaurants stuffed in this tiny plaza!!! are the managers of this strip mall nuts or just stupid??? do not go at 11-2pm! its a parking nightmare!!! pizza,mexican,sushi,italian,donuts etc and 300 customers vying for parking spaces!!!! get rid of a few eateries and ease the congestion!!! decent produce that goes bad quickly so eat it asap. my fav product is the vanilla yogurt. the corn chips are delicious for parties too. frozen fish is uggghh! lamb tips are tasty. frozen veggies are good as is the fried rice. something for everyone! read more

This is far and away my favorite Trader Joe's. I've never really had a major complaint at any TJ, but at this location the staff is particularly helpful and friendly. When I was pregnant with my second child, they would not just offer, but insist on accompanying me to my car, load my groceries for me, and then return my cart. No one ever makes you feel like you're imposing by asking a question or 5 - you are always met with a genuinely pleasant and helpful response. The staff is diverse in every possible way - race, age, gender, individuals with special needs. What this accomplishes is an environment that feels extremely welcoming. Bonus, they have the shopping carts equipped for car seats, and they keep them separate from the other shopping carts so you don't have to dig through a long train of carts to get one. This may not sound like a big deal, but it's extremely helpful when you're shopping with little kids. read more

This place is AWESOME - I read some of these other BS reviews that gave it 2 or 3 stars and a lot of the complaints were about the parking and things running out stock a lot - THE PARKING IS FINE !!!! there are 3 parking lots located around the trader joes all within literally a 40 second walk to the front of the store - like really people? so you have to walk an extra step or 2 - oh please - and also the items at trader joes temporarily run out of stock due to the high demand of certain products, The small room in the back is not enough storage to hold large bulks of thousands of products - if you ask an employee they always check in the back and if they don't have it they will tell you when its coming in next. They get morning and night deliveries - so if they are out of a certain product 90% of the time its back in the next day or two. The prices ARE PHENOMENAL - I saw a review on here of a girl calling it pricey - that must be a joke - They are basically the Walmart of Whole Foods - You can leave here with a weeks worth of food for $60 - not just any food - GREAT FOOD !!! Very fresh and employees are constantly checking dates and the quality of the fresh fruits and vegetables - you will not be disappointed !!! read more

Convenient , usually fast check out, most of the time TJ's has full stock of items but not late on the weekend night. prices are good on most things but not all. Meats are not good cuts and prepared foods are iffy , i did get sick on a prepared chicken wrap so i do not buy already prepared food from there any more. read more

Trader Joe's is such a better place to grocery shop. They create a much better environment than your typical big box store. The store has most of the essentials and some cool snacks. Pricing is great. Only downside is that it's on the smaller side and don't always have everything you need. read more

I would normally give them five stars but today I had the worst experience due to a cashier named mark. He was an older male on the chubby side salt and pepper hair oh and he has glasses. He was so rude I said hello twice he ignored me he didn't even offer to let me put my things down while the person in front of me paid like any cashier there normally does. He didn't bag my items he just left them on the counter and gave me my change I said thank you and still I got no response. Hey couldn't believe it I didn't want to get into an argument so I bagged my own stuff. As the next customer came behind me he greeted them nicely and offered to put there stuff down for them. I'm so offended and disgusted I come there all the time and have never had an experience like this. Everyone there is usually so nice and helpful. He made me never want to go there again I looked for a manager but couldn't find one so I left. Mark is a rude jerk. Get a new job if you don't like retail or suck at working with people mark. read more

Came here last Saturday and it was packed. Parking was tough as well. There are many stores nearby this TJ's (Starbucks, DD, Kings, CVS, Red Mango, EWC etc.) The store wasn't too big compared to other TJ's. I was happy about the free samples and fresh fruits and veggies. I am in love with anything they sell with Cookie Butter. I wasn't a fan of their salad but the sushi was good and not that expensive. I got a box of California Rolls for only $3.99 here while at ShopRite it costs $5.95. TJ's is so much better than Whole Food's and Kings who charge unbelievable prices. They only carry TJ brand products (no Yoplait or Chobani!) but the rest is all the TJ regular not just with this location. I will come here again for sure! read more

I love Trader Joe's offerings and prices and have been met with great above and beyond friendly workers that seem to love their job and being helpful with great consideration to parent shoppers at OTHER locations. I have recently moved to the area and visited this location a few times. A tad more care to what items are being put where couldn't hurt when bagging items as I've found my eggs in less than ideal places with other groceries. I take my daughter out of the cart so the cashier doesn't have to attend to her, but they always seem to forget that I need to put her back in the cart and put a bag there which makes checkout a little less efficient and seamless than I'm used to. At other locations she's used to friendly cashiers and being offered stickers to keep her from being more disruptive to the check out process, and often I am asked if I can use help getting to the car, but not so frequently at this location. In this parking lot it can be a challenge to have to unload groceries, and leave your kid in the car since there aren't nearby places to return it, and it's much easier when there is someone to take a cart away for you. Trader Joe's food and value remain the great, but some visits have been good while other times I've been met with some brash tone or feeling like my cashier was less than pleased to be there, and my daughter's request for a sticker ignored. Not bad service just less quality and personality and above and beyond service than I've come to expect or look forward to. read more
