I can't believe I've passed by this Weis so many times without stopping in--I was definitely missing out. I originally popped in to see if they carried their brand of gluten-free raisin bran but ended up leaving with a basket full of other gluten-free goodies. Not only did they have my favorite donuts, but their gluten-free section was impressively large, making it easy to find great options. The store itself was well-organized and simple to navigate, which made shopping a breeze. On top of that, one of the employees went out of their way to help me sign up for a savings card so I wouldn't miss out on any deals. I actually do not live near a Weis market but I order from this store through Amazon. I love Weis branded products. The stores selection is ample and I am able to get what I need. I wish we had a Weis by us I would visit the store. Essex County please ! I shop at my local Fresh Grocer market which is a division of Shop Rite. I also like to give other stores some business and try different products. So I never been inside the Randolph Weis Store where I get delivery from. However the store looks to be clean and well stocked. Meats are wonderful. I made a delicious flank steak that was the perfect size. Produce is great too. I applied for a club card if I get it. My adventure at Weis Markets in Randolph today. I am a regular customer there. According to my Weis Card I have spent over $1900.00 at this store In 2025 and the year is not done yet. Most of your associates are very nice. I don't ask for anything much. Just the Italian bread that use to be ready at 9am and now maybe 10 am. At 9 the loafs aren't even in the oven. Anyways, first your website needs fixing. You need to have an IT person Really fix it. I put the E coupons on my card and they never come off. So today Floyd is at self check out. He always is just standing around. So as I am checking out my e coupons are not coming off. I show him on my phone that are clipped. He states "I am suppose put these coupons on 24 hours before" with his attitude. Whatttttttttt? He is confused with your points being added. MY attitude gave it right back to him. Not like the dude is busy. The parking lot is a mess with carriages all over the place. Not a single small carriage around. What happen to them? A cashier is on break before 9 am . You guys open a 7 am. The store managers need to whip this store into shape. Many times your prices are not correct especially on the hot deals. This Weis Market is an excellent new grocery store that checks all the boxes. Fresh Produce- Check! Great Deli- Check! Awesome Meats and Seafood- Check! Tremendous Bakery- Check! Friendly Service- Check! Large spacious Isles- Check! Anyway you get the idea, it's a Great Store and I actually don't mind grocery shopping anymore thanks to Weis! They even play decent music over the p.a. while you shop! How cool is that?! They feature a system of points, so for every dollar you spend you gain a point. The more points that you accumulate the more you can put towards whatever Weis items you want. [no coupons for stuff you're never gonna use]. Every week I basically get 2 gallons of Milk for free. Convenience of location pretty much carry the stars here. Prices are substantially higher, and they ask for a SSN for their discount card, which seems kind of shady to me. The people there are nice, and products are just ok. I'll shop there in a pinch, but save 20-30% at ShopRite if stocking up. read more

Weis markets differ from store to store,some have friendly staff,others not so much.Higher priced and there is no union for workers If you don't want crowds you usually will be happy at a Weis but then not the turn over of items,You can find some bargains if you search..And newer stores are nice but have been to some that are dirty.But give stars for community service and environmental because there is so much waste in the industry read more

At Weis shopping tonight. We went shopping for odds and ends to create an excellent holiday meal at the local Weis. Finished out quest through the iles picking the wild caught rather than the Indonesia farm raised garbage seafood. Enjoying our time together and having fun at it! Ignoring the inflated prices... Then came to checkout. Absolutely no human to check us out! I asked the young lady who is going to check me out? Her answer was to use self checkout everyone is a comedian these days! So, I mosey on down to the customer service. Asked the woman at the desk if she had anyone to complete my transaction I'd like to check out. I was told no and the cashier is under 18 and can't work longer than 8hrs per day..... My reply ; I don't care, I don't work for Weis, I'd like to complete my transaction. Her reply; I can have one of the girls run it through for you (I'm guessing she thinks I don't know how to run a computer lol) well, finally the girl she asked to do their job of completing the transaction said ; I'll just open the register we can do it there, I "get what you're saying" I don't know what everyone is doing working for a retailer for no discounts or anything completing a transaction for a multimillion corporation I know I still respect myself and my ability to ask for some integrity from a business. I know some will have absolutely no clue what I'm saying or even have a clue of the expectation. The creation of another 3rd world with the dumbing down of a society continues with no expectations to be treated with respect at all. Location is the reason I go there. The prices aren't always competitive and they don't keep the same items in stock. When I questioned about the carrying of zero sugar sodas, I was told by Customer Service Rep that they lease the aisle to the Soda Companies and they stock whatever they deem fit. So you can buy something there one week and the next it might no longer be carried. I hate to have to drive further but Aldi is starting to look good. read more

Self checkouts are terrible. If you bring your own bags to try and help the planet there is no where to put them. You have to cramp all your bags on the stupid checkout thing where there is no room. Then it malfunctions when u put another empty bag in the area because it thinks your putting unscanned stuff in the area. And to top it all off the receipt that prints in 4 feet long with nonsense on it! Killing trees for no good reason. I'm done with Weiss until they fix some things read more

This Weis store in Randolph, NJ opened in a previously closed A & P location that had been vacant for almost 3 years. The area badly needed another supermarket after the Randolph A & P closed and so, Weis eventually filled the gap. Like most supermarket chains there are good and bad points and here are my observations. 1) First, I live nearby, so it's very convenient for me to run in and get things I need. 2) Unlike many chains, they STILL offer Senior discounts (on Tuesdays) and Military discounts (on Thursdays). These discounts require you to sign up, but the customer service folks can do that quickly if you already have a Weis card. The discounts apply ONLY to Weis branded products and then, not even all of them. Some exclusions are Weis breads, their milk and I believe meats of all kinds. The discounts are 10% for Weis brands and can be stacked for multiple items to include those already on sale. You can really save on their canned products when they are on sale and if you have the senior or military discounts. For me, these are positives as I qualify for both discounts (I am retired military). 3) My previous experience shopping in the area showed me that Shop Rite in Wharton and Ledgewood are much bigger stores with far larger selections and I used to think that across the board Shop Rite was cheaper. This Weis location, while not having as huge a variety and selection of products oftentimes will be cheaper than Shop Rite and even more so when I shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays to utilize their discount system. 4) This store is seriously UNDER-staffed and it shows. All too often the deli closes fairly early, as do many of the cashier's lanes. I think the under-staffing is what has created the rude behavior that other reviewers here have commented on. If I am not mistaken, this is also a non-union store, so the employees there may also be underpaid and with lesser benefits than chains with grocery unions. The salad bar, which is supposed to shut down at 7 PM is often closed earlier and shift managers don't even attempt to apologize; they offer the same lame excuse that they are under-staffed and do what they can, yada, yada, yada. 5) I do NOT do ALL of my grocery shopping at this store. When I need the vaster selection of products, I head over to either of the two local Shop-Rite stores. As retired military, I can shop at the Commissary (although a small one) at Picatinny Arsenal (where I do save a great deal), but they have restricted hours and are not open 7 days a week. I almost NEVER shop at ACME in Randolph as their prices are obscenely out of wack compared to both Shop-Rite and Weis. 6) This store has a decent meat department for pork and chicken. Their beef selection sucks, both price-wise and what is offered and available. The meat departments at the two local Shop Rite stores offer more and 90% of the time at far better prices. Grocery shopping is often a time consuming and expensive process. I live by myself, and do all my own shopping and cooking. I do my homework and am very price conscious. I have a pretty good idea what things should cost and shop accordingly. The term "caveat emptor" means let the buyer beware. That applies at this Weis store as it does EVERYWHERE else you may shop. Yes, this store, like most stores, has its good and bad points but don't let negative reviews by single visit reviewers dissuade you from giving this store a try. Weis is a Great Supermarket the have everything I want at low prices and the employees know where everything is ans the cashier's are nice thanks weis! I always shop here, Shop rite in Succasunna is rude and packed and i don't like them. But Weis cashiers have a smile on there faces and the employees are wonderful. read more

Outstanding place to find thick cut steaks. Also, decent produce. The salad bar is huge and the self checkout is awesome. If you have a Weis card, the deals are great. It's confusing if you don't use the card, you won't get the discount, but if you just ask, the people there will help. They're new here in this location and are working out the kinks, but well worth trying them. I found them eager to help and to make an impression. Horrible experience with pick up service. Had a confirmed 2 pm pickup, got a call while on my way that I will have to come later as they did t get to it. I stayed I was having a super bowl gathering and I would need to know when I could pick it up. Josh stayed I don't know and can't guarantee anything. I cancelled he could care a less. Every time I come in here with my mother the cashiers are always super rude. Today I went in by myself to pick a few things up. As I am waiting in line the cashier, Annmarie(her name), was giving the guy in front of me attitude saying "put your card in...is your card in?" repeatedly. When I got up there I barely got a hello, which I expected. She asked if I had my weis card and I told her I did not have it on me and asked if I could put a phone number in. She responded with "can you wait a minute?" with again an attitude. She rung everything up and I went to pay I asked her which button to click since it was a credit card. She raised her voice and said "just do what's on the screen" but on the screen was the option for debit. And I responded with "that's for debit" and she kept repeating "follow the instructions" making me seem like an idiot. Last time I will ever shop there! read more

Beware of this store. I found raw chicken for sale that was three days old. They were also selling outdated premade salads. I came home with a package of presliced cheese from the deli department and it was rancid! I reported this to the store manager but I won't be shopping there again. This store was initially impressive but it's unfortunately quickly losing customers due to outdated items and poor customer service.

I stopped by at about 6pm on a Wednesday to grab some balloons for a birthday celebration. I walked in and saw the balloon display by the garden section. As I was picking out balloons to be inflated at the display a male manager(?) and older female employee in a Weis vest walked past and started filling up one Mylar balloon. They stood with their backs to me for a few minutes and had a personal conversation and also discussed how to fill balloons. I politely excused myself and apologized for interrupting and asked if they could tell me if I needed to pay for my balloons before filling them or wait to have them filled and then pay. They looked at each other and still didn't turn to answer me. The woman then turned around with an annoyed look and a very sharp tone of voice. She held her finger up and chastised me to tell me to wait my turn. She continued to tell me that I needed to wait when I looked shocked. I kept my voice even and said I was just asking a question. She continued to jab her finger in the air and chastise me; an adult woman, but younger than she, to wait to be helped. I turned around, put the balloons I chose back on the display and walked out of the store. As I was walking away I guess she realized how impolite she was as she shouted after me that I fill the balloons first and then pay. No worries, since I took my business to Shop Rite where they were more than happy to fill the balloons I needed. This isn't the first time I've experienced an attitude from workers at Weis, but I accepted it because of the convenience. This will be the last time I experience an attitude at Weis though. I will not return. I'd rather drive 100 miles away than to deal with this store. With service like this they'll be out of business soon enough. read more

They have a fantastic free hot lunch table setup right in the front! You can walk around and eat as you browse the stores great selection of foreign and domestic goods. They have a really nice exotic woman collection. I plan on coming back 100%! I cant wait to indulge myself in some of their tasty free lunch and dinner. They need to step up their unsweetened tea game. Pure leaf unsweetened black tea: scarce. Unsweetened green tea: non existent. Spoke to the manager Anthony about this over a month ago and this still hasn't been addressed. So disappointing for a place that has a dedicated organic section.
