    Larry the lobster

I like this trader Joe's a lot. Everyone is very friendly and it's not too just. The parking lot is very big so looking for parking is really easy. My kids always love looking for Larry the Lobster who is hidden in the store every day. Once they find him they tell the worker at the front and they get lollipops. Sometimes my kids have a hard time finding him so they ask the workers and they always help them out. We go here a lot and now we have something to keep my kids busy. Great spot, great selection of items and not busy at all. My wife loves all the pumpkin stuff out right now. She buys one of everything that is pumpkin. Lol.

What's not to love about this Trader Joe's? I mean it's always fully stocked with their items and the place is easily accessible with ample parking. The workers seem to always be in a very friendly mood and seem to enjoy their job there which makes it inviting to shop. I've been trying a few new products lately and they were very good like the pumpkin brioche bread or the pumpkin spread. These may be seasonal items and are very good. Several years ago there was pumpkin pie Mochi ice cream and I haven't seen it since. Wish they would bring that back as they were so good.

    Late night yummmm!!!

Trader Joe's Chimichurri rice, Trader Joe's cedar lane pork tamale, added some renfro ghost pepper salsa and, viola, delicious perfection in 5 mins! I love TJs!!

This location is right by my work so I decided to stop in see if they had any good healthy salads. Omg, they have a wide variety of pre-package salads. Location has lots of parking as it's in a big shopping plaza. The workers here are very friendly and helpful. The cashier who helped me also noticed I was there for lunch asked me if I wanted a packaged fork to go which was so nice! I love Trader Joe's all around anyways. Definitely recommend coming here for lunch!

This is definitely my favorite TJ locations. It's slightly further for me to go to than the location in Long Beach at PCH and 2nd Street, but the parking lot is much roomier and safer. And this store is less crowded than others. Major plus. I went here the other day to pick up all my Thanksgiving ingredients. Got a big ole turkey 13+ lbs for 3 of us lol. Yea likely not having our annual family gathering since it's too risky for our vulnerable ones. TJs have the best foods. tostones, what? so awesome. since it so time consuming to make. It seems to be very clean here. There are associates outside making sure masks are worn. If you bring your own bags, you will bag your own groceries. They follow good covid protocol. Thank you! It goes to show how much respect the TJ brand has on their clients and society as a whole. Be safe and happy shopping.

If you don't already know, this is the surfing Trader Joe's down near the beach in Huntington Beach. You have to be a surfer to shop here or Pass the surfing test. So I am going to help you with the oral test you will get prior to entry: 1. Fill in the blank: "Catch a wave and you are sitting on top of the _________." (Hint: Starts with "W") 2. I need to wax it first means? (Hint: not pubes.) 3. Hey dude, I am going to "hang ten" today means.... (Hint: nothing to do with executions.) If you got these you are in to one of the best and unique TJs around. They have all the things you expect at TJs plus that cool surfer vibe. I really liked it here, got some lunch before hitting the beach. Easy free parking. Some trees in back for shade. Clean large store. And, just blocks from the beach. See ya Dude!

Good area to get some groceries done. Staff are pretty nice here. Wish lines can move quicker despite a nice set up. Spacious of how they do it.

The store itself is smaller if you compare it with places like Shun Fat Westminster Superstore or Hòa Bình supermarket. There is only one checkout counter and the staff all seem to be Vietnamese. After walking around, they pretty much have all the basics covered. The focus is Vietnamese and Southeast Asian ingredients and sauces. They have their own seafood and meat counter with number tags where you can ask them to clean or cut fish, plus a small deli to go section. I also noticed their delivery vehicle outside that says wholesale, so it seems like they also supply restaurants in the area. Overall it feels like a neighborhood market that also does some wholesale business. The fresh section looked clean and there was no strong smell. I happened to see ground pork on sale for $2.49 per pound. The regular price was $2.79. Of course I had just paid $3.99 per pound earlier that day at 99 Ranch in Irvine because I wanted convenience. While we were there, a Vietnamese lady next to us was buying a big pile of meat and seafood and chatting with us while waiting for it to be cut. She said she always shops here. She ended up buying the last of the ground pork in the display. We asked if there was any left and the butcher said he had more in the back, so we immediately decided to grab two pounds. I think this place is perfect if you do not want to push a cart around a huge store and just need to pick up a few items quickly. They are open until 8pm. Next time I have more time I will come back and explore a bit more to see what other interesting things they carry. There is a small prepared food section in the front for quick takeout. Even with the higher prices, it's still a convenient place to shop. Not too big, easy to get in and out, and you can find most basic things you need.

The grocery is good for what to expect for any Asian market but the main attraction is the food court. It may not seem like much but all of them are really good and would fill up your hunger instantly. My favorites from the top of my head are the Katsu Don if I remember correctly and the Udon section where you pick your tempura (don't know the exact name). Overall good place to eat lunch or even dinner. Another problem would be finding a seat since there's hardly any tables and your plate is pretty big and bowls are heavy so you have to be somewhat quick to find a seat. The ambiance is fine but that's kind of to be expect in any supermarket, which is usually crowds talking and all. I really don't have much to say. Ever since this place closed down the anime shop, the DVD store, and bookstore, this place pretty much lost what made Mitsuwa special and worth visiting. Especially for someone who's into both anime and tokusatsu like Super Sentai (Japanese Power Rangers). Those places are what got me my first Gundam model kit (Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed) and my go to place for Japanese DVDs as mentioned (Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, and Nanoha). I understand why they close down these stores, especially with streaming services and online shopping are a thing, even though I don't fully agree as they are customers like me that would prefer in-store physical copies. That is why I deduct one star. These are replaces with a gachapon store, a Matcha store, a Boba store I believe and Daiso. The matcha and boba place (forgot the names sorry) are surprisingly good. I really like the matcha ice cream in a bowl and I believe the Doncha. The gachapon I cannot say as I never spend money there and I'm not into these gacha machines and I rarely buy anything in Daiso as its just your typical convenience store that sells some Japanese stuff so I won't say much. In conclusion, it's a very nice spot to eat Japanese meals and especially something to fill you up for the day while also shopping to buy Japanese food to cook at home. Just be aware this is pretty pricey, especially the Royce matcha chocolates and the food court.
