I am way biased when it comes to Trader Joe's. I love so many things about the goods here except the crowds. Going to Trader Joe's is like going on SoCal freeways, as you get more experience you just know when to go. I buy all my meat, frozen stuff and lunch goods for making food for the week mostly on Monday nights. I have also been on a salad kick and love the mozzarella and tomato salad that they have there for like $4. The long french bread is another fav of mine. Almond butter, everything but the bagel crackers, honey, dubai chocolate, guacamole, I mean I could go on and on about all the stuff I love there. They also have these "seasonal" or temporary goods, some come back like the Ube Mochi waffle / pancake mix to the freeze dried strawberry yogurt pieces, you just want to try something every time to find your new favorite. TL;DR - Great (very diverse) selection, even better staff! Interior: Super cute beach-themed decorations (mini lifeguard towers, paintings, and the signage is very eye-catching/well-designed! It's very clean, not too cramped, and I enjoy walking through the general layout of the store. Food/Products: Their flowers are super awesome and cheap, I always go to them for V-day & birthdays. Always a yummy selection of snacks/food, here are my favs/essentials: - COOKIE BUTTER ICE CREAM!!!! - cosmic crisp apples - french roast coffee - yogurt (small cups) - salmon (very easy prep!) - organic eggs - freeze-dried strawberries - broccoli & cheddar quiche - rosemary croutons The prices are comparable to other grocery stores (but salad is pretty cheap), but what makes trader joe's stand out is the appeal for smaller households (as opposed to bulk buying @ costco) and the variety of new products Service: The staff is always extremely willing to help, and incredibly patient! I really like this towards convenient where I live. It's easy in and easy out if I park in the back parking lot front is always way too crowded and no parking. The store is small enough to get around quick and easy. They don't always carry everything I need which is a bummer for instance fish sauce.?? and also one thing that pet peeve of mine. Every time I go in there to shop the produce section that whole wall there's always so many workers from the store always in the way stocking shelves. I like this trader Joe's a lot. Everyone is very friendly and it's not too just. The parking lot is very big so looking for parking is really easy. My kids always love looking for Larry the Lobster who is hidden in the store every day. Once they find him they tell the worker at the front and they get lollipops. Sometimes my kids have a hard time finding him so they ask the workers and they always help them out. We go here a lot and now we have something to keep my kids busy. Great spot, great selection of items and not busy at all. My wife loves all the pumpkin stuff out right now. She buys one of everything that is pumpkin. Lol. read more

What's not to love about this Trader Joe's? I mean it's always fully stocked with their items and the place is easily accessible with ample parking. The workers seem to always be in a very friendly mood and seem to enjoy their job there which makes it inviting to shop. I've been trying a few new products lately and they were very good like the pumpkin brioche bread or the pumpkin spread. These may be seasonal items and are very good. Several years ago there was pumpkin pie Mochi ice cream and I haven't seen it since. Wish they would bring that back as they were so good. read more

This location is right by my work so I decided to stop in see if they had any good healthy salads. Omg, they have a wide variety of pre-package salads. Location has lots of parking as it's in a big shopping plaza. The workers here are very friendly and helpful. The cashier who helped me also noticed I was there for lunch asked me if I wanted a packaged fork to go which was so nice! I love Trader Joe's all around anyways. The ambience in the store was positive and I had a pleasant experience collecting my food items until I had an unpleasant conversation at the register with an older female employee (Jenn, L.?)... Making remarks about someone's accent and calling them "exotic" is extremely inappropriate and unwelcoming. This is definitely my favorite TJ locations. It's slightly further for me to go to than the location in Long Beach at PCH and 2nd Street, but the parking lot is much roomier and safer. And this store is less crowded than others. Major plus. I went here the other day to pick up all my Thanksgiving ingredients. Got a big ole turkey 13+ lbs for 3 of us lol. Yea likely not having our annual family gathering since it's too risky for our vulnerable ones. TJs have the best foods. tostones, what? so awesome. since it so time consuming to make. It seems to be very clean here. There are associates outside making sure masks are worn. If you bring your own bags, you will bag your own groceries. They follow good covid protocol. Thank you! Love this TJs! It has great parking! Wide aisles! Quite the anomaly from my usual Tj experience. What's not unusual is the great customer service and cleanliness that I've always experienced at TJs. And the wonderful variety of products. Discovered this location as I get my hair done next door at Studio Thirty Three Salon by the wonderful Heather Hughes. I now make it my usual shopping location even though it's not my local because it's such a consistently great experience! Like most Trader Joe's locations, this one is all the same. I will say that TJ's offers different products per region. I live in Seattle and see some things in CA that aren't sold in WA and visa versa. I think the funniest thing is the Pasadena salad. When I first moved to Seattle, I was looking for it and couldn't find it in my store. What I didn't know was that it was there, just under a different name. In Seattle it's called the Pacific salad lol. This location is nice and spacious. I love that it's so close to the beach. You can come here and grab stuff then head to the water. The staff are pretty normal for a Trader Joes store. Parking is great as this location is in a strip mall where there are other businesses. My only complaint of all Trader Joes is their wine selections. I wish they were better. They seem to all order from the same producers all the time. More variety would be great in that section. Whenever I'm home to visit mom, we come here for our Trader Joe's favorites. read more

I stopped at this Trader Joes location, and it was a nice one. I have been to other locations, but this one suits me real good. They had a whole bunch of fresh fruits in season right now. I purchased some with lots of vegetables and meats. They also have big selections of wines . I love trader and I love Joe but I love this location more than any I've been to. I even drive out of my way to go to this store. The staff is absolutely amazing and they are never out of what I need! only five stars for me always, but I will be honest, I had a one star experience recently. The team there is always so kind to me and my family, but two separate times in the same shopping trip, there was a team member, I believe his name was Rik or Nick? I'm not sure but two different times I overheard him talking negatively about his fellow coworkers, one of them being female and sexist. I just wanted to reach out and let you know how uncomfortable it was because I had my daughter ask me why that man was so mean to his friend. This is the unicorn of Trader Joe's. They have a big parking lot with wide spaces. Confession: I will drive past 2 Trader Joe's locations to get to this one. I'm not joking. The only weird thing is that the employees are not regular TJ employees either. You know how in most TJ's, it seems as though you have entered a small town grocery store with friendly, folksy people working who want to know if you've tried the latest new item? This one is not like that. I've asked a question before and literally got "I have no idea". Not, let me check on that for you.....but "I have no idea (insert blank stare)." I'm a huge fan of Trader Joe's and I normally go to the Main Street, HB location or the 2nd St, LB location. Main Street location is very cramped inside and LB location has horrible parking. This new Trader Joe's solves both of those problems. It's like a normal market with plenty of parking and super wide aisles. I've raved on about TJ in my other reviews, so I'll keep this short. I think this will be my new location to shop at. FYI..... don't get the TJ brand sushi. It's disgusting. I've had it in the past and I knew it sucked but for some reason I got the shrimp/avocado rolls this weekend and I just ate it. Not only did it taste funky (didn't stop me from eating all of it) but now I feel like an alien is about to burst out of my stomach. I feel sick.....really sick... Trader's Joe's has always been consistent on providing unique and interesting products in their Traders Joe's label. They cover the everyday basics as well as their fresh produce selection. As we walk in to the store we're welcome by the vibrant fresh flower section with the fragrant flower scent. The shelves are always well stocked and organized, and the aisles are kept clean. We love their healthier choices like the bran muffins, and the Mediterranean Hummus. I really like their ready to go salads selection the Mediterranean salad, Chicken Cesar salad,the Soy bean and green salad, are so yummy, so good, so healthy and to boot they are priced just right. I usually buy 3 to 4 at one time to keep as my lunch options when I'm having a busy day at work and I know I won't have to get out for lunch. The staff are always nice, friendly, helpful any questions on trying to find an item or frozen food they're there to help and make enhance out shopping experience which creates a loyalty to the store an the Trader's Joe's brand. If you're having a pot luck or get together this is the place to get some great cheese, crackers, and paired with wine they have a fantastic-awesome wine selection. This TJ's is located on Algonquin Street in the Huntington Harbor Plaza which is a very nice shopping center is next to awesome restaurants. I have been going to this TJ once or twice a week since they opened. Loyal customer. Great staff. Warning: their flowers are just terrible! Do not buy them! ALWAYS die within a few days of purchase (sometimes one day) and returning them is not really feasible. Suggest they put an expiration date on package. Maybe just stop selling flowers altogether would be better. A new Mothers Market is opening up soon nearby. Some neighborhood competition would be good. read more

Went to Trader Joe's in the Harbor today. I am Handicapped so I need a scooter to shop. When I got there their only scooter was being Used. I went ahead hanging on to the cart and began to Shop. One of the checkers came and told me that he would bring me the scooter As soon as it was available. A few minutes later another checker brought me the Scooter,another checker transferred my groceries from the cart to the scooter.
