We stopped to get some salads. The store was extremely busy. Organize, neat, clean. Nate was our cashier and he was very considerate. He offer us utensils which was excellent. Highly recommended

Today I went to Trader Joe's. I wanted to buy reusable shopping bags. The kind young man A.Thom at the register told me there was a limit of three, and if you bought three, you would get one free -- so you were allowed to take a fourth bag. When I got home, I saw that I only had three. My daughter had asked me to buy them so she could take them to her cousins in another country, and since she has four cousins, I needed to buy four bags. So I had to drive back. I thought maybe I had forgotten one at the register. When I returned, the cashier had changed. They took me to the manager. The manager Shawn said there was no such promotion, that he would not give me one I forgot at the register, and that I could either buy another one or return the three I had purchased. I said, "But that's what I was told." Maybe the cashier was mistaken, but at that moment I believed I was entitled to take four. Also, this Trader Joe's is 25 minutes from my home. If I was just going to buy that one bag, I could have gone somewhere only 5 minutes away. I said, "Did I really come all this way for nothing?" The manager's attitude embarrassed me. He acted as if I was lying. If I were going to lie, I would have said I bought three and only went home with two. Besides, I am Muslim. It is Ramadan, and I am fasting. Why would I lie for $3.99? I was truly very hurt. In the end, I paid and bought one more. But I found his behavior very rude. He said he would ask the cashier the next day. I don't want to put the cashier in a difficult position. Maybe he was mistaken. But I found the manager's behavior very unpleasant. I won't be shopping at Trader Joe's for a while. My new favorite addiction are the tortilla rolls chips they have! It's a gluten free friendly version of "Takis" but tastes so much better! I like to stock up on them, one time I went and my bag was overflowing with chips that the paper bag handles ripped off. A really busy employee stopped what he was doing and helped me pick all my chip bags up from the floor and gave me a new bag! What an amazing customer service. Thank you for helping me!

Nice people and service, but their pistachios are all MOLDY. I can't even believe they DO sell such a bad quality MOLDY old stale pistachios. Time to change the provider!

I couldn't find BBSauce and asked a young lady if I was "just not seeing it 'cause I am old as dirt." Anyway, Crystal stepped up, and the hunt for the B-B sauce was afoot. OH NO TJs was out of my favorite bar- b-q sauce. She asked If I would like her to take a look out back, and I said that was very kind but not to worry, I am in the store a lot. Anyway, I make it to check out, and as I am getting ready to pay, guess who shows up with my B-B-Sauce? Some guy named Cliff..........Nooooo NOT TRUE! , it was my new Rock Star Crystal who went the distance to help a senior citizen. And it was one of the few times I didn't bring Chloe......... most of the TJs team has met Chloe a time or 2 or 3 Thanks, Crystal............ who says shopping can't be fun!

I loved buying flowers at the Trader Joe's . Fantastic store. A bit of everything that's healthy and wholesome. Huge variety of foods and foodstuffs, note that everything I've had tastes great. Both organic and regular. Easy shopping, very helpful staff. Decent prices. Highly recommended.

Overall, a great experience! The store was clean and stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ample parking. My better half bought some things for family. The store itself is smaller if you compare it with places like Shun Fat Westminster Superstore or Hòa Bình supermarket. There is only one checkout counter and the staff all seem to be Vietnamese. After walking around, they pretty much have all the basics covered. The focus is Vietnamese and Southeast Asian ingredients and sauces. They have their own seafood and meat counter with number tags where you can ask them to clean or cut fish, plus a small deli to go section. I also noticed their delivery vehicle outside that says wholesale, so it seems like they also supply restaurants in the area. Overall it feels like a neighborhood market that also does some wholesale business. The fresh section looked clean and there was no strong smell. I happened to see ground pork on sale for $2.49 per pound. The regular price was $2.79. Of course I had just paid $3.99 per pound earlier that day at 99 Ranch in Irvine because I wanted convenience. While we were there, a Vietnamese lady next to us was buying a big pile of meat and seafood and chatting with us while waiting for it to be cut. She said she always shops here. She ended up buying the last of the ground pork in the display. We asked if there was any left and the butcher said he had more in the back, so we immediately decided to grab two pounds. I think this place is perfect if you do not want to push a cart around a huge store and just need to pick up a few items quickly. They are open until 8pm. Next time I have more time I will come back and explore a bit more to see what other interesting things they carry. There is a small prepared food section in the front for quick takeout. Even with the higher prices, it's still a convenient place to shop. Not too big, easy to get in and out, and you can find most basic things you need.

The grocery is good for what to expect for any Asian market but the main attraction is the food court. It may not seem like much but all of them are really good and would fill up your hunger instantly. My favorites from the top of my head are the Katsu Don if I remember correctly and the Udon section where you pick your tempura (don't know the exact name). Overall good place to eat lunch or even dinner. Another problem would be finding a seat since there's hardly any tables and your plate is pretty big and bowls are heavy so you have to be somewhat quick to find a seat. The ambiance is fine but that's kind of to be expect in any supermarket, which is usually crowds talking and all. I really don't have much to say. Ever since this place closed down the anime shop, the DVD store, and bookstore, this place pretty much lost what made Mitsuwa special and worth visiting. Especially for someone who's into both anime and tokusatsu like Super Sentai (Japanese Power Rangers). Those places are what got me my first Gundam model kit (Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed) and my go to place for Japanese DVDs as mentioned (Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, and Nanoha). I understand why they close down these stores, especially with streaming services and online shopping are a thing, even though I don't fully agree as they are customers like me that would prefer in-store physical copies. That is why I deduct one star. These are replaces with a gachapon store, a Matcha store, a Boba store I believe and Daiso. The matcha and boba place (forgot the names sorry) are surprisingly good. I really like the matcha ice cream in a bowl and I believe the Doncha. The gachapon I cannot say as I never spend money there and I'm not into these gacha machines and I rarely buy anything in Daiso as its just your typical convenience store that sells some Japanese stuff so I won't say much. In conclusion, it's a very nice spot to eat Japanese meals and especially something to fill you up for the day while also shopping to buy Japanese food to cook at home. Just be aware this is pretty pricey, especially the Royce matcha chocolates and the food court.
