The florist here creates beautiful bouquets. I just saw a few beautiful bouquets coming out for Mother's Day, so I stopped by the Floral Department to see her other creations. Photos att

Look CLOSER. Mold covered raspberries. Not just a little dark speckled, but literally an entire petri-dish of microbiology going on in there

This review is specifically about their delivery service and pickup services. I've been doing pick-up and deliveries for about 3 years now (as going in to do my shopping in person isn't a option right now) and its time I make this review so that perhaps Albertsons will take some serious actions to improve these "personal shoppers" training programs, AND, OR use a DIFFERENT 3RD PARTY COMPANY! Which i did NOT know about, but when you use pick-up service, an albertsons employee does your shopping, but When you use DELIVERY they send an UBER EATS DELIVERY DRIVER to do your shopping! In my experience, both methods have failed me, but the biggest problem with "Albertsons shoppers" is they do not bother checking the expiration dates on dairy and other shelved items. Not 100%, their fault, though...Since expired foods should not be on the shelf ANYWAYS but for example, i would often get sour cream that's a day expired or meat that's past its date. I even received salad dressing that was 3 months expired, so STOP SHELVING EXPIRED foods Albertsons! My bigger problem is with delivery though. I constantly receive rotten produce and bruised fruit, etc. (I have proof of how many refunds I have gotten through the app over bad produce). However, this weekend took the cake when I ordered delivery and received an ENTIRE BAG of rotten produce! Please see pics. These are just a few...but there was an overly soft tomato, a limp cucumber (which is always dissapointing), a soft onion, a box of raspberries crawling with mold, and a container of sprouts growing fungus in it. The brunch I is was trying to make for my friend? Completely ruined! The driver had ZERO regard for my well being or satisfaction. Is this a JOKE uber eats/Albertsons? Do you offer NO training? You just let whomever come in and shop on your behalf under your name and reputation? Can't they at LEAST pass a screen-test of "select all pictures of rotten vegetables" BEFORE you allow them to collab with your billion dollar empire and provide your customers with groceries. I guess they just need to have a pulse though right? How do you explain your in-store staff? Maybe your produce manager needs to go back and read the manual regarding FOOD HEALTH AND SAFETY? Are there not procedures in place to prevent rotten food like this from being sold? Not even the checker had the care to say, "hey bro, did you know all this food youre buying is rotten?" Nope. No one cares. A failure on ALL levels Albertsons. Thanks for the refund on my produce, but this HAS TO STOP. This should be going straight to the health department. I hope you show this review and these pictures to your CORPORATE Managers too.

Balloons, here attached to an alcohol beverage super cute with the flowers lol
    Sylvia T.

This is a review on the ballon section : Hey everyone, if you're looking for balloons for any occasion come here. They have many creative ways to attach them to something different than just flowers or a stuffed animal , I recommend coming here. This is my go to for any type of balloon decoration. My creation is to attach them to an alcohol beverage, the girl who does the balloons has been there for many years and she's very quick and very creative. There is usually no line but if there is go shopping lol

The store itself is smaller if you compare it with places like Shun Fat Westminster Superstore or Hòa Bình supermarket. There is only one checkout counter and the staff all seem to be Vietnamese. After walking around, they pretty much have all the basics covered. The focus is Vietnamese and Southeast Asian ingredients and sauces. They have their own seafood and meat counter with number tags where you can ask them to clean or cut fish, plus a small deli to go section. I also noticed their delivery vehicle outside that says wholesale, so it seems like they also supply restaurants in the area. Overall it feels like a neighborhood market that also does some wholesale business. The fresh section looked clean and there was no strong smell. I happened to see ground pork on sale for $2.49 per pound. The regular price was $2.79. Of course I had just paid $3.99 per pound earlier that day at 99 Ranch in Irvine because I wanted convenience. While we were there, a Vietnamese lady next to us was buying a big pile of meat and seafood and chatting with us while waiting for it to be cut. She said she always shops here. She ended up buying the last of the ground pork in the display. We asked if there was any left and the butcher said he had more in the back, so we immediately decided to grab two pounds. I think this place is perfect if you do not want to push a cart around a huge store and just need to pick up a few items quickly. They are open until 8pm. Next time I have more time I will come back and explore a bit more to see what other interesting things they carry. I didn't notice that usual strong fishy smell you sometimes get in Vietnamese markets from seafood or raw meat, so it felt fairly clean and well maintained. Seafood and meats looked fresh, but prices are higher compared to other Asian markets. The produce section looked fresh as well, just on the expensive side. There is a small prepared food section in the front for quick takeout. Even with the higher prices, it's still a convenient place to shop. Not too big, easy to get in and out, and you can find most basic things you need.

The grocery is good for what to expect for any Asian market but the main attraction is the food court. It may not seem like much but all of them are really good and would fill up your hunger instantly. My favorites from the top of my head are the Katsu Don if I remember correctly and the Udon section where you pick your tempura (don't know the exact name). Overall good place to eat lunch or even dinner. Another problem would be finding a seat since there's hardly any tables and your plate is pretty big and bowls are heavy so you have to be somewhat quick to find a seat. The ambiance is fine but that's kind of to be expect in any supermarket, which is usually crowds talking and all. I really don't have much to say. Ever since this place closed down the anime shop, the DVD store, and bookstore, this place pretty much lost what made Mitsuwa special and worth visiting. Especially for someone who's into both anime and tokusatsu like Super Sentai (Japanese Power Rangers). Those places are what got me my first Gundam model kit (Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed) and my go to place for Japanese DVDs as mentioned (Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, and Nanoha). I understand why they close down these stores, especially with streaming services and online shopping are a thing, even though I don't fully agree as they are customers like me that would prefer in-store physical copies. That is why I deduct one star. These are replaces with a gachapon store, a Matcha store, a Boba store I believe and Daiso. The matcha and boba place (forgot the names sorry) are surprisingly good. I really like the matcha ice cream in a bowl and I believe the Doncha. The gachapon I cannot say as I never spend money there and I'm not into these gacha machines and I rarely buy anything in Daiso as its just your typical convenience store that sells some Japanese stuff so I won't say much. In conclusion, it's a very nice spot to eat Japanese meals and especially something to fill you up for the day while also shopping to buy Japanese food to cook at home. Just be aware this is pretty pricey, especially the Royce matcha chocolates and the food court.

That evening, she tried to redeem the Roblox gift card, but the website repeatedly returned an "Invalid Code" message. After researching the issue, I found that gift card redemption problems are often caused by activation or scanning errors at checkout. Based on that information, I returned to the store the following day to speak with the manager, hoping they could help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I was told that Ralphs is not responsible for any gift card problems and that there was nothing they could do. I was simply directed to contact the phone number on the receipt. It was disappointing to receive no assistance after being a loyal customer for so many years. If you're considering purchasing gift cards from this location, you may want to think twice. I know I'll be reconsidering where I buy mine in the future.
