First, the people who work here are great. I shop here every week and they do a pretty good job. They're trying to do the best with what they have, I get it. The biggest problem centers around the shelves nearly always be out of sale items. With the prices having gone up so much, it's not really there fault that customers are focusing on sale items. That said, It's become so common that I've begun to strategize and shop on Tuesdays. I figure that why they've had a full day to recoup from the weekend, and it's not close enough to Friday to be a waste of time. ALSO- The new digital pricing tags are HORRIBLE. They're super difficult to read, especially the price-per-count. The new tags are so bad that I'll switch to another store and relearn their layout then keep coming here and dealing with the problems. read more

So I've been shopping at Albertsons for years, and I really love the store.. everything is so clean, and all the staff and employees, are always really friendly and kind. But I'm really worried because a few times when I've been there late, I've seen the Starbucks workers mopping the floor by hand, just on their knees with no mop stick. Sometimes they do have a stick, but when they don't, it just feels so unsafe. I even saw a bunch of bread spilled in an aisle the other day, and I picked it up and threw it out. Everything else is great, and I've loved coming here, but I just can't understand how management is allow these workers to mop without a stick. These workers deserve better and safer conditions. Then he helped us locate the expiration date on the items in the clarence section. This is a review on the Starbucks at this location. Just wanted to commend Alyssa. She listens and is a great barista. She gives you exactly what you order. Last week they were out of my regular flavoring and she recommended something else that was still pretty good. This review is specifically about their delivery service and pickup services. I've been doing pick-up and deliveries for about 3 years now (as going in to do my shopping in person isn't a option right now) and its time I make this review so that perhaps Albertsons will take some serious actions to improve these "personal shoppers" training programs, AND, OR use a DIFFERENT 3RD PARTY COMPANY! Which i did NOT know about, but when you use pick-up service, an albertsons employee does your shopping, but When you use DELIVERY they send an UBER EATS DELIVERY DRIVER to do your shopping! In my experience, both methods have failed me, but the biggest problem with "Albertsons shoppers" is they do not bother checking the expiration dates on dairy and other shelved items. Not 100%, their fault, though...Since expired foods should not be on the shelf ANYWAYS but for example, i would often get sour cream that's a day expired or meat that's past its date. I even received salad dressing that was 3 months expired, so STOP SHELVING EXPIRED foods Albertsons! My bigger problem is with delivery though. I constantly receive rotten produce and bruised fruit, etc. (I have proof of how many refunds I have gotten through the app over bad produce). However, this weekend took the cake when I ordered delivery and received an ENTIRE BAG of rotten produce! Please see pics. These are just a few...but there was an overly soft tomato, a limp cucumber (which is always dissapointing), a soft onion, a box of raspberries crawling with mold, and a container of sprouts growing fungus in it. The brunch I is was trying to make for my friend? Completely ruined! The driver had ZERO regard for my well being or satisfaction. Is this a JOKE uber eats/Albertsons? Do you offer NO training? You just let whomever come in and shop on your behalf under your name and reputation? Can't they at LEAST pass a screen-test of "select all pictures of rotten vegetables" BEFORE you allow them to collab with your billion dollar empire and provide your customers with groceries. I guess they just need to have a pulse though right? How do you explain your in-store staff? Maybe your produce manager needs to go back and read the manual regarding FOOD HEALTH AND SAFETY? Are there not procedures in place to prevent rotten food like this from being sold? Not even the checker had the care to say, "hey bro, did you know all this food youre buying is rotten?" Nope. No one cares. A failure on ALL levels Albertsons. Thanks for the refund on my produce, but this HAS TO STOP. This should be going straight to the health department. I hope you show this review and these pictures to your CORPORATE Managers too. read more

I made another trip to this Albertsons today, around 2 PM, Sunday January 25. First off the store was not stocked with a particular product they have had on the shelves now for several months. I asked for the manager to find out if the store would still be stocking the product. He said he wouldn't know as he did not order food products for the store. Instead he directed me to go find a person in Bakery who might know. Okay, so I hoofed it back to the bakery to be told the person I needed was at lunch and wouldn't be back for 45 minutes. Turns out the individual was working within earshot, and overhearing my stocking question, answered it. The other two individuals who said she was at lunch turned a nice shade of pink. Now I went back to the checkout area to be greeted by two big Golden Retrievers. They were leashed and well behaved, no vests or badges indicating they were support animals. The woman and her three children all looked fine to me. Since when are animals other than support animals for the disabled allowed in grocery stores? The manager and two other employees paid them no mind whatsoever. Then it occurred to me to ask who was ordering food to be stocked in the store if not the manager(s). Who else ordering shelf stock would have any insights into the products their customer demographics indicate should sell well. I've reached the conclusion this chain is all about margins, their bottom line, and have concluded they should dictate what people are to purchase in service of the chain's needs as opposed to the needs of their customers and their families. That's arrogance for you. Then there is the issue of the dogs; what's up with that? read more

Terrible store! Produce is always rotted and moldy, advertised sale items are always out of stock, self checkout machines are always broken. Staff has as attitude, if you can even find someone to help you. And WORST of all, they scam you out of your coupons and savings. Even with you saving them in your account on the app, do everything correctly, even sale items listed as being on sale in the store. They will make sure you do NOT get the correct price. And if you're buying more than 5 items it's very difficult to keep an eye on every individual price and digital coupon. It's not until you get home and put everything away that you realize they've scammed you. And they've been doing this for years. read more

Horrible experience in the bakery. No selection, person behind the counter tried to convince me to let her put a cake together for me but then she gave me no options and then got upset when I didn't want a plain white cake with white icing. In the meantime I'd found a different t cake and had asked her to box that one because it was closer to what I wanted. Then she refused to wait on me and another customer who was there couldn't believe it either! Me and my husband together with my 8yo daughter came in to this location. I was so gross out upon checked out. Our cashier was amazing, same with the bagger that was helping us..... but after all was touched and bagged, the bagger has an open wound on his hand with blood transferred to our grocery bag. I was so grossed out thinking what about our foods. he should not be bagging when he has open wound with blood dripping. This is blood!!!! Omg!!!! I can't sleep thinking about it. I told one lady that looks like a manager, I thought I saw her get something (I'm assuming it's a band aid) but right after the bagger bagged our items, he went out of the store and sure enough he was there collecting carts next to our car and he do not have bandaid on his hand. This the location behind Miguel's Jr and near Yorktown Ave. Went to deli here on Friday Sep 27th 2024 and was greeted by an older white lady. She appeared to be in charge, and I asked if I could get all legs with the fried chicken but no luck. Some of the ones available look as if it's been sitting there for a while. Asked if I could have 8 legs fried up fresh upon ordering and was ALSO greeted with a NO. She's very direct and I detected hostility. Has this look on her face like I was wasting her time, and she doesn't hide it at all. Didn't appear as if there's even 8 legs in the display and I asked how many are available? Lady then grabs a brown to go bag and starts to put them in 1 by 1. I didn't even say I'm willing to order yet and all I asked was, "How many you got in there?" Felt like I was rushed and pressured to buy now. FINE. As she's putting them in and counting, I pointed and asked if I could get that one close to the window display. That appeared to be fresh and more appealing than the others. COMPLETELY IGNORED ME. I kept asking her again and again to PLEASE put that one there in the bag. NO LUCK. She went and grabbed every other piece EXCEPT the one I kept pointing at out of spite. And believe me, I tried everything for her to put that particular piece in. I tried pointing, tapping on the display window and asked her repeatedly but ALL efforts were completely in vain. Very mean and rude to say the least. After she collected all 8 pieces, I asked again while looking directly at her. She reluctantly grabs the piece I wanted and attached receipt on bag for all 9 pieces. And never even bothered to seal the bag with any tape like she's supposed to. Impatiently hands it over with bag fully open like she's done enough. Horrendous attitude and poor service over friend chicken WOW. I was so upset that I was tempted to just leave the bag at the checkout lane. Figure I be no different than her if I did something so tacky. Didn't want to waste food so I made a difficult decision to purchase at the self checkout anyways. I should've taken a photo of her to expose once and for all. Never had a negative experience at Albertson's so this was completely new. In comparison, great service at the Seacliff Village location and got all 8 legs fried up fresh without any conflict. If you hate your job, don't take it out on customers over simple requests. Very pitiful and unlike the culture of this great supermarket. Old, mean, rude and impatient. All recipes that almost made me lose my appetite. read more

This is my Albertsons. Great service if your buying groceries for the most part. Which I do weekly. However I have tried 3 times to get my $ from a winning lottery ticket. No one can ever help at the service desk. Another time I was waiting in line, I was the third person, and it was my turn and the employee helping the other customers just walked away. Like what? The other employees saw and said nothing. This last time was the final straw, the manager in charge said I'll be right with you, 5 minutes passed and she was nowhere to be found. Again I am baffled. Don't have a service desk it it's not reasonable that someone can help once in a while. In fact many of the employees saw me patiently waiting and did nothing. I brought in a photo of a cake that I wanted to have made for my baby shower and they told me they would do their best... well They absolutely nailed it and made it look perfect! I was so happy when they brought the cake out, it was exactly what I asked for. Both of the ladies that helped me order the cake at the bakery counter were extremely nice and helpful. This mainly goes out to the deli side of Albertsons but I feel as if the two times I've been there, they've ignored me when I flagged them down or they'll help out someone behind me first when I've been waiting. For both visits, they've made me wait 5-10 mins but today what made me mad is that one of the ladies acknowledged me and my girlfriend up front and she said, "Someone will be right with you!" And the second someone got to us they helped the person behind us. The first visit me and my girlfriend ordered our sandwiches, but the guy took 20 minutes to make one sandwich and it seemed he was annoyed with our presence so as we were watching him make the sandwich he was moving VERY VERY SLOW. I let it go the first time because I assumed maybe he was new but with how they've treated us so far I'm pretty annoyed. The first guy who helped me out was a guy with glasses and a beard. Today the guy who skipped over was Asian I think. Regardless the Albertsons has great options and deals for people buying their groceries. read more
