Fairly typical little shop at the Hyatt Regency HB where you get get anything from Starbucks coffee to sand toys. They open at 6:30am, so they are a good alternative for a sit down breakfast at either Watertable or Pete's. I went at 6:40am, and the place already had several customers waiting for coffee drinks or waiting to pay for their grab and go. I got a fruit and chia parfait from one of the refrigerators and a bottle of Starbucks cold brew, and I was out of there within 5 minutes. There parfait was pretty good. The berries on top were sweet and ripe. The mango was on the crunchy side. The chia was not too watery despite being in the refrigerator for however long and covered in fresh fruit. It's a decent healthy breakfast choice, if you can walk by the buffet at Pete's and smell the bacon without stopping there. read more

Typical overpriced grocery in a resort. The $20 wine I got would probably be $8 in a typical grocery and it wasn't great. The food looked like it had set there all day and it was the same price as the restaurants. read more

Surf City Grocers is part of the Huntington Beach Hyatt Regency complex. They serve breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, muffins, and such. They also offer cold bottled water, sodas. juices, and beer, plus wine and liquor selections. Plus a variety of snacks: chips, nuts, candy, chocolate, jerky, and more. The big thing for me here is they sell coffee and espresso - they are a Starbucks shop. I hit this place twice a day for iced coffee, plus stocked up on V-8, bottled water, and snacks! Service was always very prompt and friendly! read more

We are staying at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach property. This grocer is on the hotel grounds, near the little shopping plaza and very near the walking bridge to the beach. We were looking for a quick bite for breakfast and a coffee. They serve Starbucks coffee, an assortment of baked goods, sandwich wraps, and even egg and spinach breakfast bowls for those who are GF like me. I had a chia yogurt and fruit bowl (delish and $7) and my husband had a spinach egg white and feta wrap (like sbux, but bigger). The cool part is you can take the food to go and sit on the outdoor tables facing the ocean. read more

I tend to go jogging at the beach with friends. One chilly night as we were jogging, we decided to take the path less traveled and jogged across the bridge over PCH. Unfortunately, most people that I go jogging with do not have the stamina to keep up so we stopped and kept warm by the firepit. Cute little grocer located in Hyatt Regency in Huntington beach. Also a great place for quick coffee and pastries for breakfast! There is one (maybe two? don't remember exactly) table inside the grocer where you can seat down and eat. Or when the weather is nice, you can take it outside and eat in front of firepit, which is right outside the grocer. I saw that they were selling s'mores kit. We would have bought it if we weren't leaving that day! read more

$4 for two boiled eggs. $7 for a chocolate bar. Say what? I recognize that this is a high-end hotel. But there is a supermarket two blocks to the left. Who buys these things? Coffee, though, is in the hotel-reasonable range. I bought several cups here during my conference, which were a bit over $3 for a medium. Pro tip: they have packets of peanut butter with the condiments, and they're free. There are free apples at the front desk. Grab a couple of each: free breakfast. read more

From wine to beef jerky, this place has everything a hotel hopper would need during a relaxing stay. In terms of food, there's a decent selection of local wines, a few beers, starbucks coffee, snacks from 7-11 and snacks from Bristol, various salsas, chips, spreads, chocolates, dried fruits, you name it. In terms of other items of holiday necessity, salt scrubs, skin care, swim flippers, sandals, cleansers, towels, etc. Also little smores boxes with chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows. Ask for sticks a the fire pit. Very cute. I spent a good deal of time and money here whenever I stay at the Regency and I think it's so great that this store along with the 4 other shops here are available. As for fresh produce, go across the street to the Farmer's Market and get what your body needs in terms of natural sustinance. read more

Efficient for getting a basic coffee, but horrible on trying to get a breakfast sandwich. Order was forgotten and only "oh, sorry about that". If this was not owned and operated by the hotel, Starbucks would have apologized and offer something complimentary. read more

Located at the Hyatt in Huntington beach this little shop is more than just a grocery store. I came in here looking for bottled water and left with a latte, hardboiled eggs, string cheese and nuts. There is a bakery type section (like you would see at starbucks for example) that had different pastries etc... They have soft drinks, wine, refrigerated foods as well as a coffee bar. There are tables and chairs where you can park yourself and work or just enjoy morning coffee. read more
