I don't visit Trader Joe's as often as I used to when I lived in Gainesville. I miss many of the seasonal items I used to get such as the peppermint trader Jo-ohs or lime floe popsicles years ago. I love Trader Joe's. This is really the only location I go to, just due to proximity. Just an FYI, the parking lot gets packed, and can be a bit busy, so be sure you slow down your speed, as there are always people coming and going (on foot and in your car/bike). They already had their pumpkins out, and if you're looking to get a few full sized pumpkins, their prices are very reasonable. They also had some fall plants like mums, and other flowers available. Next I headed inside. I'm always super impressed with their floral department. Not only are their flower prices reasonable, the variety is great. I headed to get some of their fall pasta sauce. Don't sleep on this sauce, it's only out for a limited time only, and it tastes delicious. It has squash in it. I also picked up some of their frozen pasta dishes like their sweet potato gnocchi, fiocchi in a rosa sauce, and some of their fried rice. The staff is always helpful. read more

Call me a basic b*tch; I'm totally okay with it. I actively profess my love for Trader Joe's a little too often. Both locations in Jax are great, I just know my way around the beach store a little better since it's closest to my mom's house and I frequent that area more than mandarin. Fall items have been in store for weeks now and of course, that means the trader ho's start appearing out of no where to run and grab pumpkin spiced everything to try (including me) I have yet to try the seasonal cold brew but I would be down to try that. The Joe Joes are always a hit, whichever flavor you get! I love grabbing some mocktails from Trader Joe's to try as well. Get the $3.99 soy candles from traders if you see them. They are so fragrant and really make your house smell so good! Highly recommend the vanilla pumpkin! I could burn that scent year round it's so warm and welcoming. I do love buying dog and cat treats from traders as well bc usually most all of them have good ingredients in them and they are a fair price. The freeze dried chicken treats (not pictured) have been a huge hit whenever I pet sit for friends. They are a little pricier than the normal treats Trader Joe's sells but still well under $10! They are for dogs And cats, and both parties love them! Buying flowers or plants at Trader Joe's always works out well for gifts, special occasions- don't sleep on their flower selection. It's nice to grab some fresh eucalyptus from here and hang it from your shower head. I could go on and on about the products here but I feel like I'd bore you guys reading all of this. Act fast with the seasonal things bc once it's out on the shelves, it will only be there for a very short amount of time and then it's gone until next year. read more

TJ's stores are all pretty uniform in terms of what they sell. The flowers are gorgeous and the produce is fresh. This trip we came for some Pumking Ale. My son decided he needed to buy a case of it, in hopes that it will last through the Fall pumpkin season. Our checker had a hard time figuring out how to ring it up. I am extremely disappointed. I called a day ahead to order 2 dozen white roses for a college graduation. When I get to the store, it took them a long time to find the roses and they were not even the amount I asked for. It was maybe 12 in all. I walk up and down each aisle, maybe twice before I leave, because although neat, there's so many items on each shelf, you will definitely find something new, and different worth trying in this amazing market. Love TJs. It's a big of a drive. But we always find great produce and groceries. My wife remarked how we spent $106 for 5 bags of groceries and she spends that on 1 or 2 at Harris Teeter. Prices at TJs are very good. Staff is helpful and both of those things are why it's always busy. read more

First off, just a PSA that it's ube season at TJs!! Secondly, I absolutely love TJs. I do most of my grocery shopping here nowadays. They have very unique items that have become staples in our household like the Power of Green juice, unexpected cheese chicken sausage, palak paneer, furikake and so much more! The produce is fresh, they have a great variety of frozen items and a lot of different snacks that you won't find elsewhere (lentil chips!). My pup loves their dog treats as well. And please do not get me started on the wine--I have never met a bottle I didn't like, and they're super friendly on the wallet. But more importantly, their service is exceptional. One of their employees always keeps an eye on me when I come into the store without a cart. Once I turn the corner from the frozen aisle he spots me and hands me a basket. I'm usually holding too many things, and he just knows me too well. Lol. Another time, my Apple Pay wasn't working and I didn't have my card. My Venmo was working though so the cashier paid for my groceries and i Venmo'd him on the spot. Lastly, I was grocery shopping on a day that I got some really bad news. You could tell I'd had a tough day and so could the cashier. We talked briefly about it and then out of nowhere, someone comes back with a bouquet of flowers for me to take home. In today's world where we are checking ourselves out (I hate it and you aren't paying me ) I thoroughly enjoy the quick and simple way they do it! Okay, let's talk about the GLUTEN FREE options! Yes and yes!!! Their brand oatmeal with aramath and quinoa is organic and gluten free... it tastes amazing! It's also reasonably priced! The gf bread and bagels taste the best! The macaroons are to die for! The coconut aminos are amazing! The nut selection is top notch! Thank goodness! I'm feeding a 23 year old gf, soy free growing man! I was excited to be able to stop at Trader Joes in Jax Bch while up that way. I have a refrigerator in my van, so the 45minute drive home is no problem. The fresh mango chunks were a huge disappointment -- a mix of a few over ripe & mostly hard, dry underripe. The fresh basil was great in a gin & tonic, but the rest of the container (always refrigerated) was turning black & dried out 4 days later. I had intended to get fresh flowers & they looked good, but the usually bargain prices were now much higher than Publix flowers so I skipped those. My latest fad is TJ's Tiramisu torte. One of the few frozen desserts I like. Unlike the traditional, it has a chocolate sponge cake bottom, which could use a little more expresso as it is a little dry. However, it beats many restaurant versions. My GPS did not have the right name when turning into the lot with Home Depot. TJ's is at the far end with AT&T. It is not easily seen from A1A. So get your suntan and hop over for some provisions. read more

Love...Love this quaint cute market! They have everything you need. Products that fit all different taste cravings even for the picky eaters! They have food products from all over the world. Plus they have the best select of affordable fresh flowers. Location- 4180 S 3rd St Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 ( 2 locations but my experience was here) Interior- small but organized. This place is easy to navigate and very organized. Walking in you'll find the best selection of affordable beautiful fresh flowers. From African baby roses to tulips. I was able to purchase flowers and do my own arrangement for Mother's Day. The produce starts after the floral section which leads pre/ made wraps and all different sorts of pre made salads and fruits. You got sections of assorted cheeses, a small Asian Indian frozen food section where you can see frozen samosas and chicken tika. Sections of Europe's and Asian frozen foods and even a dessert section with cinnamon twisted bread swirls and watermelon jam spread. The listed goes on and on and the pricing is amazing. Unfortunately I do not have a Trader Joe's in my local town. When I am on the road I plan my route around stopping at a Trader Joe's. I really enjoyed this particular visit! I found several plants, quite large ones, that were healthy and only $7.99. I was able to find everything I was looking for and when I couldn't find what I was looking for, helpful employees were right there! I also made the stop where I got lunch. They have an array of ready-made sandwiches and salads, and drinks. I am obsessed with their sparkling teas that come in a four pack. They have green tea and black tea but I stick with the black tea. They also have amazing s'more bites. An employee at another location told me a trick to pop them in the microwave for about three seconds. Perfection! Their seasonal goodies are also amazing! At this particular visit I purchased pumpkin spiced teeny tiny pretzels, pumpkin bark, pumpkin jam, and pumpkin jo-jo's. read more

Trader Joe's kinda has a cult following has things other people don't have have some good prices. I go there for certain items.

My 7 year old son has autism and struggles greatly with trying new foods. Today at Trader Joe's he was trying to choose between a candy he always picks and possibly trying something new (tj's m&ms). While at the register, he wanted to go back to possibly change his choice so trying to allow him some independence, I let him go back there. He was in my line of sight and so I could see him talking with an employee in that section but because he was out of earshot, I didn't know what was being said. They both came over and the employee offered to open the packages of m&ms for him so he could be confident with whatever decision he went with. When you have a child with food aversions, it's even hard to have them at the same table with foreign foods. I know that this employee didn't know just how BIG this gesture meant to him in a time where he was feeling confident enough to try something new. I tried to hold back tears as she was so calm and patient with him as he tried the candy. He liked it and she gave him the bag to take home along with his other choice. Win for my boy today. We can add another fun food to his list. I'm truly so so appreciative of the staff at this location. Your employee went above and beyond, not even knowing all the details of the situation. Easy mix, I added reconstituted cranberries & walnuts to mine.. They are a cake like cookie.. Think a great pumpkin bread with all kinds of goodness mixed in.. If you love the taste of Fall in your mouth, then this cookie is for you.. I AM IN HEAVEN I know somebody is going to ask why only four cookies.. This is a very nice store with a good selection of items. It's cleaner and newer looking than some other locations I've seen and the location is very convenient. However, the staff at this location leaves something to be desired. The dark-haired lady who was bagging groceries this morning and snapped at me in front of other customers should not be in a customer-facing role. Not sure how people like that who can't even crack a smile get hired into service positions. For a better overall experience, I'd recommend the San Jose Blvd store. The staff there is great, the selection the same, and there are a lot of other fabulous stores close by. read more

Another awesome thing about Trader Joe's is how fresh all of the produce is! Yay is right, I am definitely a fan. Great atmosphere with a groovy, healthy, hopeful and community generous spirit. Trader Joes is an eclectic grocery store with many of the staples. However, remember they mainly carry their own brand of merchandise. Luckily the quality is sound and delicious and in turn helps keep the prices competitive and lower than other grocery marts. If you are looking to buy for everyday needs, this store might not have everything you want. So, 4 stars out of 5 due to lack of inventory. However, Trader Joes is your place for most of your daily needs, and ESPECIALLY for your party planning. This was my first trip grocery shopping at Trader Joes. My friends have been telling me about this place for years so I finally tried it out. I loved it! It a great place to shop if you are single or even if there's just a few people in your household. I say this because of the portion sizes of certain items. For example they had many different varieties of pre-made salads. Many choices for frozen meals, and not the typical choices that I've been buying for years, there were Indian and Mexican selections. Everything I've eaten so far are amazing! They were offering wine samples to which I bought a nice light tasting white wine for 4.99. They also had frozen selections like grilled cauliflower and sweet potato ghocchi. Many pizza selections as well. I was very pleased with my first trip to Trader Joe's and I'm looking forward to trying many other new items on my next grocery trip. read more

I absolutely love this store with a passion. I love the flowered shirts that the employees wear. I bought some cheese and a bottle of wine as a gift for Matt C, and a bottle for myself as well to try. I also bought a four pack of individual wines.
