This is fabulous!! I enjoy the traditional four aisle Aldi experience but this shows the Aldi difference with more organic foods, they expanded the fresh fruit and veggies. Staff is helpful and selection is great! Well done Aldi! read more

I would have to agree with other Yelpers, the staff is not very friendly at all here - most of the female staff is miserable. I notice this with most Aldi's too. I'm not gonna get too specific but there is an older woman that's always there and never smiles, she comes off angry. 4 stars is for the size, cleanliness, convenience and selection at this huge Aldi. This is probably the biggest Aldi that I've ever been in. It was chaotic on a Saturday around 12:30. I was in the area, so I stopped here to get the grocery shopping out of the way. There were at least a million people in the store, carts everywhere, blocking every aisle. Workers stocking in the aisle, which added to the chaos. It was just really hard to maneuver through the store. I can't say the store had more different stuff - just more of the same stuff. I'll stick to my smaller Aldi. read more

Never, ever buy avocados here. Over the years I have thrown out bad avocados from here on a regular basis. No more. They low-ball the market and then sell an under-quality product. In the long run you will be paying double what another store offers. read more

Wow, this is the nicest Aldis I have been to. Granted it is a new store with updated decor. But everything was nice and orderly even on a busy Sunday. Prices are good if you don't mind off brands or knockoff products. Usually I do not shop Aldis but this store will definitely be the exception. Don't waste your time with the Orland hills location. Come here but make sure to bring bags and a quarter for your cart! read more

This is my go to place to buy most of my groceries these days. You can't beat the price. The Tinley location in particular has one of the best produce selections that I have ever seen from a grocery store. My produce always lasts and stays fresh much longer than some of the other chain grocery stores that I have visited in the past. The Aldi in Tinley has a much larger inventory to choose from since it is a bigger store than most of the other local Aldi's. I highly recommend this place for your grocery shopping needs. read more

I really do like the overall renovation and the food aisles are a lot wider than before, so it makes weaving around other carts a possibility now. I feel like the store has a wider variety of food products than ever before. My only reservation about this store is the way some of their cashiers interact with customers. For example, I was accused of taking one of their carts by two cashiers. Mind you, instead of calming telling me this, both cashiers started yelling at me down the aisle. I had to explain to the young man that I grabbed this cart from outside and had this cart the entire time I was shopping. I got no apologies, just wave off. Another example, was that I was a little low on funds when buying groceries. When the cashier told me the total, I was embarrassed to say that I had to ask her to cancel a couple of items. She seemed so agitated by the whole process. Rolling her eyes, making huffing and puffing sounds underneath her breath and basically being very cold during the end of the transaction. I love this store and its products, especially their speciality items, but that means nothing when you experience bad customer service. I will still shop at this store, when necessary, but I will definitely be avoiding certain employees. read more

Aldi moved to this location six weeks ago. They had a huge crowd the first day, but has returned to its normal business. I'm starting to see why this place couldn't hold on to those customers. Positives: -They've added a bakery. The soft pretzels and donuts are amazing. -Most of the prices are good. -They carry the majority of things I'm looking for. Negatives: -There has been a problem every time I've been there. -Eggs have become $2.09 a dozen (as of 1/3/18). They're actually more expensive than the Jewel just to the south. -The employees can be rude. One woman in the bakery even went far enough to explain to me the difference between a square and a rectangle, and rudely stated, "It's still a box!" -There is ALWAYS a line at the checkouts. If you're thinking of grabbing one item and getting out quickly, you're in the wrong place. You'll be waiting in line. -The manager never seems to be around. Customer breaks a glass bottle of olives on the floor in the checkouts? Cashier had to clean it up by herself (no help from managers or the people stocking) and only got help from us customers. Card system breaks down? Manager wasn't around until we asked for him. I wouldn't recommend going here, unless there is a price that's significantly lower than elsewhere. It isn't worth the potential hassle. read more

I just came to this location yesterday ago due to being in the area. It was one of the nicest Aldi's I've been to. The produce section is very nice and they have a larger organic section compared to smaller locations . It was pretty busy when I was there around 3 on Thursday . I will def be back when I'm in the area. read more

Shopped at this Aldi 3/30/20. As I was putting away my groceries, I noticed that I was charged twice for an item. Went back today 4/06/20 with receipt in hand. Manager rudely told me that I have to bring in the tag to a (fresh ham) in order to get a refund. Will now have to make a third trip. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!! read more

Went in to grab 2 gallons of milk real quick. I went to pay at the register. The lines were long and luckily a new register was opened and so I stepped up and waited. When the cashier stepped up she was rude and accused me of cutting and made comments. I replied to her "aren't you rude" and she had a shit grin on her face that said it all. They don't have lines where they take 10 items or less and everyone's carts were loaded. I wonder if she bitched at the others behind me for cutting too? I'm not going back there. I'll go to a store were I'm appreciated as a customer! read more

Just opened the new location and Aldi has definitely changed, it is so much bigger and cleaner then I remember, it no longer feels like I'm shopping at a second hand grocery store, i definitely will keep shopping here read more
