Trader Joes is the bomb!!! The wine selection is magnificent. I want to try it all but my liver says no. The produce is always fresh and well stocked. The people are extremly helpful. When my Son was coming home from Iraq he wanted a specific wine but they didn't have it on hand. While paying for my groceries cashier Alejandro strikes up a conversation around the kimchi I purchased and shared that they carry KIMCHI RICE! I love this place!!! I shopped at Trader Joe's for close to 40 years. Of course not all those years were in Palmdale. Last July when the temperature was very hot I requested not a bottle of water but the usual small cup of water. The manager who I understand is no longer there very rudely told me to leave and that I was no longer welcome in the store. When my wife and adult daughter heard how rude he was she came down to the store to ask why the manager has treated me so rudely. They were also told they were also not welcome to shop in that store anymore. read more

Love this Trader Joe's! The employees are friendly, engaging, helpful & knowledgeable. I do my regular grocery shopping here. I think it's great that they sell frozen waters here since I am often out for a couple hours doing my shopping it's convenient to keep my refrigerated items cold. I appreciate that they always seem to have the sampling station in the back going & being able to try different items that I might not generally consider purchasing. My kids enjoy searching for the stuffed monkey every time and I like going along for the hunt too. read more

Always clean and friendly :) Trader Joe's always has great customer service, Megan was really friendly yesterday, as is everyone who works there. This store has the same items as your typical Trader Joe's which includes a large variety of fruits and vegetables and ready made light meals. It also includes a good selection of vegetarian items and a lot of quick-prep frozen foods. Of course they carry the frozen mochi, so they get 5 stars just for that, although unfortunately I didn't get any on my last visit so I didn't see if this particular Joe's carries all 4 flavors. My only complaint about all Trader Joe's in general is that they took away their Trader Joe's soy yogurt. Please bring it back! read more

This Palmdale location Trader Joe's is a nice, clean store and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The typical things you'd find at a trader joe's are here like great wine prices and organic products. Although there's always deep lines at check out; the cashiers make a genuine effort to move the line quickly and I appreciated that. I'll be back! read more

Sooooo I love Trader Joe's , but I got strawberries the other day and I came home to eat them and they were already spoiled and moldy they were also expired . Since I've been on my health kick, this is my primary grocery store, never mind that it's 7 miles away and there's a generic supermarket right next door. I love this store! It is small enough to navigate when you are in a hurry, yet big enough to carry fantastic fresh greens, fruits, and ready-made healthy meals. The best part of shopping here is the staff. I had an issue with a product and was left feeling well taken care of. In fact, the manager made sure I had more than what I returned in exchange. Customer Service is the big seller at Trader Joe's. I had mistakenly thought that the prices were higher than elsewhere, but was pleasantly surprised at their deal and specials happening weekly. Never had a bad experience with any Trader Joe's I've ever visited, including this location. I go crazy with their cheese selection, and not to mention their Beers and Charles Shaw ($2.50 bottle of wine, love it). Parking can be a bit limited sometimes, but you find parking eventually. read more

I don't know if you happened to shop on the one day the stars were not aligned or what, but did you wonder why you were like the only one to write a negative review? I have shopped this location for over 10 years and NEVER, EVER had even close to a negative experience. And, I go back to my childhood days in other cities with the same experience(Pronto). They don;t have as many items as your local supermarket but they do carry things that big markets don't and the amount of Organic items are awesome. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly. I have never been in any establishment that had nicer staff, always friendly and helpful. And if you had any problem with an item, it's no questions asked return policy. I couldn't say enough good things about this store and was disappointed at your negative review. Keep up the good work guys! read more

Whoever was the "manager" this morning of July 2, 2013 was, is a disappointment. Customers are always first whether they are your friends or not. Think business and not personal gain. The so called "person in a manager role" was hiding a popular item in the back room and saving them for regulars and friends. The "manager" told customers that the item was already gone for the day even though the store just opened. He said the same thing the morning before. It wasn't until one of the older ladies complained, saying they are from out of state, out of town, no time to keep checking daily, and told the "manager" to check in the back room, the "manager" finally was able to bring LIMITED number of the item. Hint-- If you knew certain items are on demand, order extra to anticipate running out of stock. Sanity check yourself and consider the fact that you are not the store but merely an employee. read more

BOO this Trader Joe's SUCKS!!!!! literally have been shopping here since 04' and have seen this place go down the drain. There have been numerous issues at this location so I finally asked to speak with the store manager. Now I see why this place has turned into such a shit show. The store manager Jim Larson is an ass. With him running the show I see the trickle effect As they say, shit rolls down hill. I shop at TJ's because the vibe, great selections, awesome prices, and friendly staff. That's what there known for. But unfortunately this location is void of that. Every time I have been there the staff is too busy talking or stocking the shelves to be of any help. They just point and don't even look at you. Plus to top it off I'm pointed in the wrong direction. Some of my favorite products are never in stock and they have anemic inventory levels for 99% of their product. I have shopped at TJ's from Pasadena to San Francisco while on my travels, I have seen some awesome stores and had great customer service. Really sad that this location doesn't offer the same. I now shop at the TJ's in Santa Clarita just to avoid the Palmdale location entirely. I make the trip up there once a week because the store is clean, stocked, and the staff is wonderful. I hope the Palmdale location changes for the better so I can save some gas money! read more

I shop at to this store every single week...and I love the store. But this time I have to give 1 star for dress code... SHORTS!!! for dress code?...ok, for me shorts are for parks, to go to the beach or to go around doing your business how ever you want it...so I asked Heather, the cashier, about the dress code and she answered that shorts are ok because it is too hot...Oh!! Fantastic!!! Brilliant concept....so, since summer is not here yet, I recommend for the month of July - September to change the dress code to bikinis,...and men can go without shirts...because it will be HOT!!!. You know what Heather...you can be naked for what I care, but for a respectful place in my opinion that is not appropriate...I am looking forward to see Trader Joes employees in bikinis and boys without shirts in sumer time, because it is HOT. I LOVE Trader Joes, and I was here in P-Dale when this one first opened. I usually don't shop anywhere else, If Traders dosent have it, I guess i don't need it. In the past year though they have had quite a big turn over of employees and management and sadly it it not the same TJ's that i came to know and love. I think there must only be about 5 original employees still here. Which is sad because the service here used to be out of this world! But now it has a very "corporate" feel to it and if i happen to wander in when no one that i know is working, it seems very awkward! :( But I'm still giving 5 stars because they still do take care of you, they have a great selection of stuff, there are still a few good peeps that work there, and they still get the job done! They have a FABULOUS selection of wine and beer and anything you could possibly imagine to go along with it. so this place is still A-OK in my book just maybe taking a hit due to the economy... like the rest of us...? read more

I adore Trader Joe's and I go as often as I can. Their produce is fresh and well stocked. You cannot beat the wine "two buck chuck" - great value and the fresh flowers. I find their prices extremely competitive with Super Target and even Wal Mart. I only wish the store was bigger but then it may lose its charm at that point. read more
