Palmdale, CA I stopped by to see what I could get myself into. Upon entering the door, stuff on promotions greeted me. I checked them but they were not into my liking, so I left and moved on to other stuff. I walked every aisle, and most of the prices are way beyond my budget. This grocery store is not for everyday shopping for me. The store is clean, well-stocked and spacious. They have a hot food area, ready-to-heat meals, and sushi. Public restroom available. I love my local sprouts. This is much nicer than your average grocery store, it even has decor that makes it look like a farmers market. They have everything I'm looking for from fresh produce, to locally sources eggs & milk. They also always have a new treat for me to try. The staff are welcoming. The only area that I think could be improved is the deli department. Many times I wait for a worker to notice me & I usually order a few different meats & cheeses at the same thickness (thin) and yet they're always at different thicknesses which is frustrating. Twice now I have gone looking for ground turkey ( Should be at least 1 1/2 - 2 weeks outdate. All this week same 2 large packages close to out date sit there. Just because you have too many one pound pkgs also close to out date is no reason not to restock others. Produce is very disappointing. Not fresh or not there at all. I don't typically leave reviews, especially for grocery stores, but had a great experience here. Working out in Palmdale, I made an unplanned stop here to pick up a few things before heading home. Temptation struck, and I picked up some ice cream. Knowing my sweet treat wouldn't survive my trip without melting, I picked up an insulated reusable bag before heading to self checkout as usual. That's when Derica struck up some casual conversation with me. I told her I had a long drive back, and she went above and beyond -- recommending me other Sprouts locations I'd find along my route home, and amazingly, paging someone from the deli to bring me a carefully double-bagged helping of courtesy ice to keep my stuff cool and frozen on my journey home. Sprouts is still one of my favorite stores but come on now... couldn't even enjoy my sandwich on my lunch break fully because as soon as I bit into it I stumbled upon a piece of avocado shell in my sandwich, A BIG ONE at that. Sprouts has never fumbled like this before and also despite how many toppings I ordered to have put on my sandwich it was still very much flat and drenched in mayonnaise and mustard smh. I know to avoid buying a sandwich when I see certain behind the deli preparing them. If I had the time I would've returned and requested that my sandwich be remade. I only didn't due to being on my lunch break and having so much time to eat. Pretty disappointed please do better sprouts Palmdale! read more

I love sprouts so much! Everyone is always so friendly, they say good morning and ask if you need help with anything. The store is super clean and really inviting! The selection of food they have is diverse, they also have delicious sushi all the time and all the people working behind the counters are so kind and helpful in getting you what you need. One of the most stand out people I met was Zay, he was so kind at helpful at the fish counter, even checking the back stock to make sure they had salmon. I also appreciated Otto's help (he's a courtesy clerk) - who helped me at the store and I have severely weak hands and he has helped me push my cart to the car and taken the cart from me after so I didn't have to worry about it. Subject: Unacceptable Service & Order Cancellation Without Notice I am beyond frustrated with the experience I just had at Sprouts. I arrived at the store, unaware that I hadn't clicked the apply button for my order. When I spoke with one of the shopping representatives, she assured me that once I placed the order correctly, she would be back in 10 minutes after her break to complete the shopping. I waited outside for 30 minutes--well beyond the time she promised--only to return inside and be told that my order was canceled by the manager because it was after 5:00 PM. To make matters worse, the manager claimed that the cancellation happened through a third-party app, Instacart, with no notification, no alert, and no warning that orders couldn't be placed after 5:00 PM. As a customer, this is not my fault, nor should it be my problem. If there are cutoff times or restrictions, they should be clearly communicated upfront. Instead, I wasted my time waiting for shopping that was never going to happen--time I could have spent elsewhere if someone had bothered to inform me. This entire experience was a complete failure in customer service and communication. If this is how Sprouts chooses to operate, I have no reason to ever shop here again. read more

I travel for work. I spent about 5 weeks in Palmdale with our franchisee. Living in a hotel can stink for health and wellness. Sprouts made it easy with their pre composed meals. They have raw meals or reheat able meals. I stayed at a hotel with a kitchenette so I opted for the raw Sirloin and Truffle with mushrooms and asparagus. At 10 bucks, I was able to get some microwaved potatoes and a bottle of wine for a quarter of the cost of a restaurant and I'm eating better. Not to mention they have a great store beyond this. If you are a meal planner or a hotel goer, make this a stop so you don't have to have fast food everyday. read more

This was the worst sandwich ever. White bread was hard and stale. I asked for mayonnaise but I guess she forgot? Provolone was dry like someone didn't put the plastic wrap right when they put it back in the fridge. And the selection of grocery items? Here today gone tomorrow like the flock chicken skin chips which was priced more than at Ralph's. This is the reason why I shop at Bristol Farms in Pasadena on my way back from work. Palmdale does not have great shopping options. I used to go to Sprouts in Arizona when I got transferred there but they had a great selection of food items and it was very inexpensive. This location, I see a lot of overpriced items. The one and only good thing about sandwich was the roast beef but of course it's Boar's Head. Terrible. I've been to this Sprout's a few times and I wasn't too impressed. I love fresh seafood, however, when I walked past the meat/fish department, it's smelled so fishy. Needless to say, I decided not to buy any seafood there after all. The few employees I ran into were nice. Unfortunately, they only had self-checkout available with one employee monitoring the self-checkout registers. This took so much longer than I was expecting because all customers had different skill levers at the register. The store was clean and organized. If you're looking for more bang for your buck, this is not the store for you. I understand why it costs more though. Nevertheless, I won't be coming back here. For these types of prices, I'll go to Albertsons instead where in my opinion, the service is much better and the quality of the seafood is better.
