Plus the cafe has really good food. We always get pizza and it's great quality for a great price. They also have a playground for little ones. Shopping at Central Market is truly a one of a kind experience and I always leave feeling excited about the new and unique things they have. They frequently have special events and themes too. It was tasty, flavorful, filling. It was cooked a little more than I would normally want, but still yummy. the Brioche Bun was good, but did fall apart a little bit. Maybe warming it on the grill had something to do with that. I went with a combo that included a drink cup for the help yourself drink station. The drink station had interesting flavors I have never seen before, and some old standards like coke, diet coke, sprite. The combo also included crinkle cut fries. They were warm, golden brown, delicious but they were a little overdone. Definitely needed some ketchup to help eat them. The staff at the checkout lines were smiling, laughing, friendly, and when they had to check out one of their coworkers, you could see the strong camaraderie amongst the employees. It looks like a fun place to work and the team works well together. I got dessert at another place in town. Enjoy the photos.

To ad insult Kroger typically has only one checker line open and none at all in the evenings. So most of the Customers are buying only what they need and using the automated stations where only half are ever open because it takes a dedicated clerk to constantly fix transaction issues. Corporate management has their heads totally up their asses. Tom Thumb is a bit farther but I enjoy the stores for the courtesy of employees who actually seem to want to be there and the experience is way more pleasant. I just finished moving 6 prescriptions to TT and won't suffer Kroger's crappy condition of customers anymore.

I bought frozen food at Trader Joe's because it tasted good. I had one for dinner, and one for lunch the next day, and by the end of the day, I was in the hospital where I stayed for 4 days. It took me 10 days to fully recover. It means 10 days with pain medication so I could eat soup and drink water, lots of nausea, and headaches. After I got better, I decided to do some research on Trade Joe's. I regret not having done that before deciding to shop here. I had heard such good things about the store. It turns out the company who manufactures their frozen food is really bad. They had lots of recalls and problems in the past. The fact that I had this problem less than 1 month ago and the safety issues have been going on for a few years shows Trade Joe's does not care about our safety or the quality of its product. If you think is worth the risk, go ahead. I ended up with thousands in hospital bills, missed days at work, ridiculous amounts of pain, and I would have been safer buying the food at walmart which amazingly has a better track record. I still cannot believe how irresponsible they are, and how can supermarkets get away with putting our health at risk and still get to say they are healthier?! read more

Finally..you have made it to Texas..North Texas that is..close to home :) woo hoo! I've been waiting for TJs to open up and I kept a list of things I wanted to buy. Limeade...check! Frozen magos cubes (when you put the cubes in a glass of Gewurztraminer it's DELICIOUS)...check! And last but not least..peppermint oreos, which don't come out til the holidays... Also, I'm hoping that they'll put out samples like they do at the one in San Jo. It's always nice to be able to try a product you wouldn't have normally looked at - and because they carry a lot of products from local/small businesses, it's great that we can support them with our purchases at TJs... Definitely excited they're finally here! Now I have to choose between Whole Foods, Market Street, and a Central Market a couples miles away...I think I'll stick to Trader Joes and be loyal to the chain I held dear to me in Cali :) And where my Two-Buck Chucks at?!? woot woot! ps. lines are super long right now...beware! be patient - totally worth it. read more

Trader Joe's is my go-to place whenever I want to try something new! Whether it be a new sauce, meal, soup or noodle, they have it! They have a wide variety of vegan items that I wouldn't typically find at a regular supermarket, which is fantastic. The employees are always so happy and helpful, which makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. During my last visit, I received a nice compliment from Diane (or Diana, I'm not sure of the spelling), which really made my day. So, shout out to her for being so kind! Despite being a small store, Trader Joe's is full of gems, including their plants and flowers. I love that you can buy fresh eucalyptus here for a great price--it adds such a nice touch to my home. Overall, I can't recommend Trader Joe's enough. It's a wonderful place to shop for unique and delicious items, and the friendly atmosphere always keeps me coming back for more. read more

First time I ever stepped in a Trader Joes and I got asked out by a vegan ;) but honestly, I AM OBSESSED. It is hands down my favorite store now. You must try the orange chicken, the thin JoJo's, their famous chocolate covered bananas (trust me, your life will never be the same) and the Coconut chips. Even their almond milk is cheaper than what you would get at other stores. 10/10 recommend their frozen açaí and berry blend. They really need to keep restocking the Pan Au last with chocolate chips! It is perfectly sweet and the portion could not be more perfect. I also love trying their samples every time I'm there. GET THE GOAT CHEESE, best price all around. read more

i LOVE this store. Not only does it have high quality stuff for prices far below central market and whole foods, but it also has regular staples that you can't get at those stores. I had been to one in CA and was waiting for one here FOREVER, so when I heard they were opening up here, I couldn't wait. I still go to Wal Mart or Tom Thumb occasionally, but for 80% of my grocery needs, Trader Joe's is perfect. I highly recommend people trying it out read more

Winco was new to me and while not related to WinDixie it has a range of basic and affordable house brands as well as name brands. with a good produce section. I'm not sure about the meet dept but it looked clean, well organized and stocked. I was there for bread and eggs and left with two heavy and tightly packed bags of food for under $50. I won't be hitting the HEB at dawn/ 7AM anymore to beat the crowds, I'll do Winco once a month when I wake up early at 4AM and can get there from Plano with zero traffic and red lights. They have better prices on a lot of things than Walmart and certainly than Kroger. If your grocery bill is exploding the last year or two try shopping here at least once a month. Best part was the checker said they are an employee owned company which is a huge plus to me over over these chains that are gouging people over profits on food and staples while not giving any benefits because they mostly staff with part timers. Did you know that Kro-ger made $1.24 BILLION PROFIT in 4Q25, that was in 3 months of the 2025 year. Search for Kro-ger 2025 profit and you can see the SEC report!!
