This location is decent and has great plant and flower options. (Pic included). I always seem to go during peak hours so I haven't been able to take my time browsing without feeling a little claustrophobic. However decent quality per usual for TJs. I recently bought some shrimp and cod. The frozen cod had a fishy taste. I ended up throwing half away because I didn't want to risk eating anymore. The shrimp I bought was supposed to be "peeled, deveined, and tail on" (pix provided). As I was defrosting it was clear they weren't cleaned. I get really grossed out cleaning shrimp so I'm kind of set on not buying anymore seafood at this location. But everything else has been great and the staff have always been super kind, aware and helpful.

Location in an outside mall area!

The store was buzzing with people on a mission. Staff is happy to assist! It it the summer of July 2023, and the flowers and cacti are abundant! It's amazing to arrive and see shelves full and people smiling as they are shopping. The store front is clean and the entire store is litter free. The products are well spaced in the produce section; and the aisle larger than most grocery aisles. A cart he as it's own lane, allowing people to shop in each direction!

It's my favorite store to buy gifts to take back to Hawaii. The staff are very friendly and polite. Love to walk in and see the beautiful flowers Then, on to my shopping, I had a hard time figuring out what to buy. There's so many new things and the old favorites. The item that i really wanted was out, so I asked the sales associate if there were any in the back. She returned and said that there's none but they should have a shipment in late tonight. She also asked if I wanted her to hold them for me. And of course I said yes as I'm buying about 25 of them. So if you are looking for a Trader Joe's to go to, this is the place for excellent customer service, great atmosphere, and great food (gift) selection.

Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store. I joke with my friends that it's my "happy place" and people often give me Trader Joe's gift cards for my birthday and Christmas. But today was especially impressive. The cashier asked how my day was going. I said it was going OK but the look on my face was not in agreement. She said, "are you having a bad day?" I admitted that I was. We chatted for a while, and then she gave me a small bouquet of flowers for free to cheer me up! My faith in humanity was restored this afternoon.

We don't often shop at Trader Joe's. When we are looking for unique snacks and treats this is our go to store. Most of the time the store is crowded. I'm sure there are times where there are less people but I'm not there. The selection of healthy unique food is plentiful. One of my favorites are the berry hand pies. We purchase the blueberry lemon hand pies. They were so yummy. Last time they had Strawberry rhubarb hand pies which are my absolute favorite. Fun store to shop. A little on the pricey side but we'll worth it.

I've always enjoyed shopping at Camas Market and appreciate what they bring to our community…read more I see it differently than a traditional grocery store. To me, it's a specialty market with a thoughtfully curated selection of products, including Eastern European specialties, Russian and Ukrainian foods, imported goods, and an incredible assortment of pastries, cakes, cookies, and sweets that are difficult to find elsewhere. As for concerns about expired products, I can only speak from my own experience. A while back, an employee actually caught an out-of-date item during checkout before I even noticed it. They immediately removed it from the shelf, apologized, and offered me a discount on a replacement item. What impressed me wasn't that a mistake had happened, but that they took responsibility and made it right. No market is perfect, and occasionally an item may slip through from a distributor or be overlooked. What matters to me is how a business responds when an issue is brought to their attention. In my experience, Camas Market has always been gracious, responsive, and committed to taking care of its customers. I continue to shop there because I value the unique products, the wonderful bakery selection, the sense of discovery, and the people behind the counter who genuinely seem to care about the store and the community they serve. Not every market needs to compete on size or price. Sometimes it's enough to offer something unique, welcoming, and worth coming back for.

And I probably left ~$10 savings on the table by buying the brands I preferred. The store is never a mess and the people working here are consistently good. It feels like a "we're in this together" kind of environment where we want to buy groceries and the workers seem to want to facilitate that, and then everyone goes on with their lives. I can say for 100% certain that this is the least financially predatory supermarket I know of. Produce is the biggest example. When stuff is in season, you can tell they buy a ton of it and try to turn it over fast and cheap. Very good quality limes were $0.25 today. I don't even think bubble gum machines cost that much anymore. But I also worked in retail and can tell they do the same with dry goods as well. They look for good deals like we do, and instead of using some complex algorithm that gets their CEO an extra million, they just make sure they're making enough money, and if they are, they often give people the opportunity to buy stuff cheap. The loyalty programs at other stores will never earn my loyalty like a grocery store operating in a neighborly way will.
